I never played DAoC but guess what that is even older than expertise so maye you can try and understand this new star is the new thing you want to backwards. The stats are fine you guys just want to be able to hit 50 and play normal, but you can't run into nightmare modes on day 1 and you can't compete with the best geared on day one either.

First this is an MMO, gear progression is the main pooint to keep playing. Second, removing expertise would require all gear to mirror pvp gear in health and damage, what this means for all of you who seem to be crying expertise is horrible is you will be getting hit harder and the damage you deal would do less in terms of your targets total life. The reason you lose is because they have gear and you have none. If there was no pvp gear people would roll over any who doesn't raid with their pve loots. So that is why there is pvp gear, they put a stat on it that takes away from damage in pve so you can't pve to pvp, but you can pve to pvp. It's not expertise it's the gear, a person in full t1 raid hear would roll you just as hard as some in champ gear.

It flowers at 50. Very hard to play without a good computer and good connection. Crafting can be difficult. As an artifice you make parts for a modable lightsaber, specifically a hilt, and you can also make enhancements which is needed in modable armor as well, the color crystal is useable in all modable weapons. You can't make blue items without treasure hunting. You could purchase the mats via trade channel or gtn. There are threads that can helP you if you look though about specs and rotations.

Unless you level with the tanking tree doc is a must. Kira is the tanking tree companion. When I only had Kira it was a race to kill things and after sit down and heal. So anyone trying to say Kira is better is in tank spec or sits down to heal way to much

Opportune strike can be used right after you force leap to a target and pommel after force sweep. Using these 2 skills, during class quest, can save your life if you are soloing them. I click these 2 sklls because they can only be used in pve. Also it's possible to use freezing force to hit people with opportune strike

I think that the dps is lacking because plasma brand is broken it should do about double what it is currently doing dot wise. The upfront is fine but te dot is doing around 1000 when the skill says it should do over 2k. So the dot should hit for around 600 instead of 250. iPhone edit

I currently use vigilance for leveling, and have used it in pvp, and as guardian you should be guarding someone and that requires the tanking form, and vigilance needs a lot of focus. And i think Plasma Brand is broken. Currently my plasma brand does around 1k damage dot, not 2k like it says.
