  1. And self important types who think they are the only ones who should have anything to say, passing judgement on threads they dont feel useful because they dont agree. Or perhaps just looking to correct someone to make themselves look all that more impresive.

    Know anyone like that?

    Gotta love sarcasm.

Anyways, just take a look at the first page of most of the forums on this site. They really are useless, fairly nonconstructive, QQ threads. It's not passing judgement when it's fact.

  2. is bright and intelligent bunch the new phrase for meaning a bunch of spoiled babies

It really depends on the topic of the thread as to whether or not you'll find decent players who are trying to make the game better. Sadly though, most threads are full of entitled whiners QQing about any number of seemingly unimportant things.

  3. There's nothing wrong with space. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's broken.

And far from everybody likes player housing. It's bad to generalize.

  4. not even remotely true. They always said that most legacy items would be either/or but some would require both.

Not to mention that the items that require both are all quality of life stuff that is in no way necessary to enjoy the game. They're there strictly for people who have more money than they know what to do with.

I think what most people's problem here is that while the dev's said most legacy stuff would be either/or, it turned out that just about everything currently available requires both legacy level and a vast amount of credits.

I'm legacy 33 and was kind of surprised that all I got, without having to spend credits, was the Sacrifice ability that my Sorcerer had in 1.1.5.

  5. I would much rather just not have them in my groups.

So what did you mean by this? Why exactly are you singling out players who use controllers? You JUST said a bad player is a bad player, but you're saying you rather players who use controllers not be in your group. You're implying that all people who use controllers are bad.

It's understandable that you've had bad experience, but I'm sure you've also had bad experience with K/M players. You've played with a few bad people and automatically labeled the entire population of players who would rather use controllers for an MMO. It seems a bit ignorant (no offense).

I said that not every single controller user is bad. There's bound to be some good ones out there. The ones I met have been bad, and that I am choosing to not take the risk by willingly playing with a player who uses a controller. Does that make me some kind of ignorant "racist" to an extent? Perhaps.

But there is nothing that a controller user can do better than a keyboard user, so I would much rather take my chances with people who use a keyboard and a mouse; as I've found that there is a much higher probability that they are a good player. It's a simple as that.

  6. The ironic thing is that you will never know who plays with a controller in your group, even if they are considered good or bad. Read the article in the link below, which I also posted earlier in this post, it explains the advantages and even has a video for people that would like some proof. :)

I suppose if I PUG'd a lot then you would but right. But as I only ever run things as a full guild run, then yes, I do know who plays with a controller, seeing as how none of us do.

Anyways, I will admit that a controller is probably viable for dps, and maybe even a tank to some extent. But I don't see how one could be a decent healer using a controller.

  7. My point exactly. However, you're making it seem like all players with a controller are bad...and they aren't.

No, you're making it sound like that's what I'm saying. I clearly stated that through my past experiences I would just rather not risk it. No where did I ever say that all controller users are bad. I did however say all the ones I have personally ran into were bad.

  8. And I've played with well over a few hundred people who play with a K/M that are terrible. Most MMO games don't officially support controllers, but the ones that do, make use of them very well. Much better than K/M, imo.

Bad players are bad, no matter the device in which they use to interface with the game.

  9. Obviously it's unfair to pass judgement on every single player that uses a controller in an MMO, but I've played with 6 people over all my years in MMO's who used a controller. All 6 of them were terrible.

I'm sure there are some decently talented players who use a controller, but I would much rather just not have them in my groups.

  10.

Healing: while I am not a healer, I can clearly see that the force bending nerf is going to hit healers hard. In addition to that, sorcs must now rely on some way to get force back without killing themselves (literally).

The fix to force bending was needed, and most sorcs/sages would agree.

Here's my findings so far on how devastating the change to Force Surge is.

  11. Mods already have to come from end game raiding/PvP. No reason for the augment slotted gear to do so also. If people want best in slot gear they can participate in the player economy, it is after all an MMO (isn't that what raiders are always saying when solo-guys want best in slot loot?).

Which leads back to the argument that there wouldn't be a point for bosses to drop gear and to only drop the mods instead (which I'm sure Bioware doesn't want to do). Tier pieces would be useless as all the mods would just be stripped out to be placed in the critted orange gear.

  12. It would be nice if the ICD on the relic was closer to what it is for the the tanking and dps relics or if it just healed for a whole lot more. Although if they increased the healing it would have to be substantial to justify the cooldown.

400-500 healing every 20 seconds just isn't enough. You get more HPS by spamming Purge. That's just sad when it comes to nightmare loot.
