  1. I have a lv. 50 SJ, a lv. 17 SA and a lv.18 BH. I was going to use the BH to craft armor (with armormech) for all my non-force using toons. However, all the recipes so far buff stuff related to range DPS toons, not necessarily melee DPS. I don't full understand how aim effects melee DPS, but I do get the endurance buffs from the crafted items. I guess my question is this, is it better to craft gear for Khem or simply use commendations/mission rewards to equip him since I need gear that mainly increases strength and endurance? I know it is important to equip your companions well as you go along.
  2. This is a noob question for sure, but I figure it's alwatys better to ask and be sure, but my lv.17 SA has a legacy construciton kit from my LV.50 SJ, what do I do with it? I have tried visitng the legacy vendors on DK with it in my inventory, but I am unable to get anything with it. Can someone please provide some clarification on what I need to do with the legacy kit? Thanks.
  3. As a crew skill, would it be better for leveling and end-game purposes, to go with armstech, armormech, or cybertech? And if you wouldn't mind, please explain why. Thanks.
  4. Are synhweaving schematics the same for light and dark side? for example, if I am playing a JS and a SJ, will the synthweaving schematics be different because of the affilaition one way or another with the Force? Which brings me to my other question: are we able to send credits/items to our toons of a different faction, i.e. SJ to JK? I know earlier in the game you couldn't, but I thought I also heard that you could now. Thanks.
  5. Thanks for that info. Will try that when I get home.
  6. I see all over the internet pics of people's characters and want to know how I can go about getting the pics for myself because I have friends asking to see them, I am wanting to use them as an encouragement for them to play the game
  7. I am a BH trying to decide if I should go with making my own weapons/mods or make my own armor. I want to know if weapons I can make with armstech are comprable with the drops I can get while questing? I like the idea of creating my own armor as well, I did that with my SW; however if the weapons I can make along the way are comprable to the mods I can place into an orange weapon I got from the hutt at level 10, then I just might make the weapons. I guess what I'm saying is that I like crafting my own gear and want to know if it would be better to craft the armor for the augment slots or to make my own weapons, both ideas I like.
  8. All right, here is the situation: I have a lv.50 sith jugg whose crew skils are synthweaving (400); Arch (400) & UT (400). I have a lv.17 sith assasin whose crew skils are artifice (106), slicing (97), and TH (96). I am looking to have my toons craft gear for each other as I go along, even though ultimately end-game gear is better, I really like making my own stuff. Anyways, I started a BH this weekend whose is now a lv.11 and I'm looking to start a JK this coming weekend. The crew skills I was thinking of for the BH are slicing, investigation, and armstech. For the JK, i was going to do scavenging, armormech and UT. My question is this, is the crafted weapons better than or as good as the crafted armor and armoring mods? I was leaning towards having my BH make weapons for himself and let the JK make upgraded armor for the companions and the BH while my SW was making armor for the JK. and the Assasin making hilts/crystals, etc. for the JK. Does this sound like a viable option for a BH, or would it be better to have the JK focus on consumables and let the BH make armor and not worry about the weapons, since there are several good orange moddable weapons?
  9. I recently hit level 50 and am currently getting credits to buy my recruit gear for starting PVP, which is something I haven't even touched yet. My question is this: I need a good skill tree build that will enable me to survive well in PVP as well as HM raids. Any ideas? Thanks.
  10. Earlier this week, I went to the Recruit PVP gear vendor at the fleet and was saving up to buy Vindicator PVP gear. I haven't dabbled in PVP yet and was looking for some decent starter gear and found what I liked. I went there last night and the gear wasn't there, I found the gear at the Rakata vendor, but the option to buy the gear with credits was gone...did this happen with the latest patch update, or did I hallucinate? And laslty, where can I buy lv. 50 speeders?
  11. Here is a list of the gear progression for a level 50 that should help you out:-Orange Gear with Corellia Commendation mods in it/Quest Gear/Normal Flashpoint Gear. -Crafted Epic Gear/Orange Armor with the Armoring/Enhancements/Mods in it from doing dailies on Ilum/Belsavis. -Tionese Gear. -Columi Gear. -Rakata Gear. -Rakata Gear with Black Hole Mods in it. -Campaign Gear. -Augmented Orange Armor with Campaign Mods in it. At the risk of sounding stupid, exactly what is crafted epic gear? Right now I have 2 rakata pieces (bracers and belt) and looking to craft fortified electrum gear (chest, head, and legs) for my toon. As far as the Tionese and Columi gear, don't those require PVP commendations? If so, i am going to have to buy recruit gear to get myself started on PVP to build up to buy those.
  12. I am a sith juggernaught and was curious as to some opinions as to what the best end-game gear is for my toon. As far as PVE goes, I am leaning towards modifing Fortified Electrum Gear (chestpiece, headpiece, and greaves) along with rakata belt and bracers. I like the idea of creating my own gear, but was curious if there was something better out there. Also, I was curious, are the mods that can be bought with coms on Illum and Belsavis higher rated than the ones on Corellia or are they the same since Illum and Corellia are level 50 planets? Thanks for any input
  13. I am a lv.50 sith jugg. OK, here's my question: I really like the look of the Fortified Electrum Gear (head, chest, legs, boots), I know this is orange gear than can be crafted with an augment slot. and along with the best mods I can get via vendors/commendations, add to this the Rakata gear I can craft (hands and waist I beleive) does this setup sound like a viable gearing option for end-game raiding and flaspoints?
  14. I have 2 questions: 1.) When my main reaches lv.50, does the legacy bonus kick in then, or I do have to gain XP and fill the 503K XP bar before the bonus kicks in for the other toons? Or, rather is it once the story is completed? 2.) I am looking to do some PVP as well as raids now that I am at LV.50. I have to start out with the PVP Recruit gear for PVP since I don't have near enough to purchase better gear, my question is this: does the community think the PVP Recruit gear is good for raids as well? I have read that I would need PVP and PVE gear for endgame, but wanted to get opinions before spending the 200K on Recruit gear. Thanks.
  15. Where exactly can I buy the recruit gear?
  16. I am curious as to the max level of the mods (armor, enhancements, and mods, barrels, etc.) are available. I am currently sitting at lv.48 on my sith jugg and I have level 21 and 22 mods on both myself and my 2 main companions.
  17. This is going to sound silly, but I have learned it''s always better to ask questions just in case I am wrong. Do I get the daily space missions from the space missions terminal on the bridge of my ship, or are they found someplace else? Also, the last space mission I tried, I only got 5XP and few hundred credits for completing it, does this mean I am too far advanced (greys on the mission log) to recieve the XP, commendations, and/or credit bonuses? Or does this mean I already completed this mission? Just a little curious as to how this works, I am looking to upgrade all my ship's parts to level 5 parts and want to get the fleet commendations to buy the proton torpedoes as wellas the biometric crystal alloy from the fleet comeendations vendor. Thanks for your input.
  18. I am a lv. 48 sith jugg, I have archealogy, UT, and synthweaving all at 400. I am approaching the point where I will be starting PVP pretty soon, this is something I haven't done very much of to this point. I see that I can start crafting Rakata gear and was wondering if it is feasible/competitive gear for starting PVP and doing raids. I want the best gear I can put my hands on for right now until I start earning commendations to buy the tionese/columi gear. I guess my question is this: Is craftting the rakata gear worth my time and efforts in getting the prerequisite supplies, namely the biometric crystal alloy and the mando iron? I have a pretty cool moddable purple hooded chest piece with an augment slot that I will probably want to keep but I am hoping to get a rakata headgear, boots, gloves, and bracers.
  19. Where exactly is the fleet commendations vendor? O searched all over Vaiken and couldn't find it, must have missed it. My other question is regardfing the fleet commendations...even if the missions are grey ( I am a lv.48 jugg) and have only done like the first 2 or 3 missions), will I still be able to get the commendations that I need?
  20. should I be able to solo BT in hard mode being a lv. 48 jugg?
  21. This is going to sound like an idiot question, but if I were to BT on hard mode, would I just go under the preferences and change the difficulty there?
  22. I need to know where I can find mandalorian armor and biometric crystal alloy. The GTN on my server has the armor for 10K for 1 piece, is there a cheaper way of getting this? Thanks.
  23. Have you done any space missions? How about the planetary bonus missions? I am a sith jugg and have done bonus missions on Tatooine, Taris, Quesh, Alderaan, Hoth, and Nar Shaada. These bonus missions generate a lot of experience and credits. I know it's a different class, but I haven't done but 2 space missions and 2 heroics so far and I am a lv.47, halfway to 48, just arriving on Voss...which is a level 44-47 planet. I haven't ran into the the issue of not enough missions. The other thing you might want to consider is the companion you are using. I have found that i will use my DPS companions for everything except the boss fights/ elites at which point I bring out my healer so I can survive long enough to win the fight.
  24. This is my first MMO and have long ago stopped worrying about looking silly by asking a question. I am a sith juggernaught approaching level 50 and have done so strictly solo questing and no PVP. I am looking to get into PVP after I complete my class quest. I read that, in PVP, "experise" is an extremely important stat. Just curious as to what this attribute does and how to increse it. Thanks.
