Okay well if you guys don't like me posting about it (or whatever your problems may be) then please commenting. I have already gotten 2 in game mails in SWGEMU from people who have seen my post here. That obviously means there are some people still wanting to play it, so my thread isn't making everyone here pissed (for no good reason might I add). If people "don't take kindly to enquires about an old game that can only be played using emulators" then go do something else. Is there some law limiting me to only playing 1 MMO at a time? I didn't think there was. I came here because I've heard a lot in game (SWTOR) general chat people talking about how much they like/miss SWG so I figure there are probably some people who play the SWG Emu as well. As I said before, I'm just trying to make friends of mutual interests. Now can we move on and just have this thread be about people meeting up in SWG EMU servers?

I'm not asking for people to discuss it, jeez. If you don't want to play it that is perfectly fine! I'm just looking for people who do. Just downloaded the public test server and the BBA event is up. I am pretty disappointed, again no collectible currency like there used to be during events. You pay for the new gear and weapons with credits and having to be of certain reputation for some of the items. The speeder doesn't look that great, nor do the armor sets (except this one helmet), AND they are selling bowcasters again! Not that I don't like bowcasters but that limits this events special weapons to only guns, screwing force users, and it also is repeating what we have already seen! I hope that they change a few things before this goes live. I really want to see some event currency again like what we found in the smugglers crates during the nar shadda event, or the tokens we got from puking on people (or blowing up) during the rakghoul event! or at least bring back the nar shadda and rakghoul events to be recurring or something.

Don't listen to anything that people post about assassins/shadows being bad tanks. It all depends on the player and stat placement. Assassins/shadows are pretty different in stat placement than vanguards/power techs and guardians/juggernauts . If you learn your class and you learn you stat placement (and preferably make your own spec and rotation if you have the knowledge) you can very well be an amazing tank. There are a lot of people out there who think they know all about tanks but are really completely blind to the matter. I'm not going to get into too much detail but there are a lot of spread sheets that are complete ******** due to missing variables.

Yeah that's the thing, I don't think it will be fine. If my 731 defense rating only gives me 17.36% total defense chance can you imagine how much defense rating I would have to obtain to get even a mere 25% total defense chance let alone above 31% where I was it before expansion.

I am level 55 and I was when I posted this lol, But to all of you thanks for the advice I will stick through it! For a while actually I thought I was the only one who thought defense rating was best for guardians. Thank you all.

I'm a guardian tank and I am honestly devastated with the huge change in defense rating to defense chance. I used to have 31% defense chance at level 50 but now at 55 with the a little more defense rating I have only 17.36% defense chance. I'm pretty sure my avoidance will go way down into the gutters in operations. Should I just drop my defense rating and pick up more shield and absorb? because 17% is almost half of what it used to be. Please share thoughts and advice. Also is there any possibility they will change defense rating in a patch to make it worth more again? If you are just reading this post don't worry about replying, I have gotten the information I need and I know what I will do about the situation, thanks for stopping by.

I have and I have gone through 10 pages of google, not a thing, just please someone help me out. May it be with your own UIs or a site, I know there is one out there because I used to use it but I lost the link when I reloaded my computer.

I have been trying to make a custom UI for my new scoundrel but I cant get comfortable with anything I make, anyone want to share there UI files of a DPS Smuggler (can be gunslinger or dps scoundrel) Just please provide a picture of the UI in game and a download link. Also if anyone knows any good UI sharing sites for SWTOR please lead me to them
