I wasted all my money trying to get the rodian companion. Yet some people got 2-3 i saw in chat and quite a few. I would have bought it for 10k cartel coins. Now I won't even buy the new stuff. without the rodian my spirits have waned on this game

Yes, I bought these boots (complete outfit) long ago and would love to collect it again on my other characters, I'd even repurchase them at this point! If only someone were selling them on the gtn at least star forge. I see the pants and gloves all the time but never the boots. I'd pay a lot for them. I want them purely for cosmetic reasons, I don't care about mod slots or anything like that.

I've been playing this game since the year it was released, and I don't do pvp in this game because the people are awful human beings and also awful in operations and extremely mean-spirited if not towards me, then towards other players and I hate seeing it. It just kills the mood, if you have any sense of feeling and empathy. I'm also sick of people saying it's just text, but it's okay to type that text which drives me and others off? I just don't practice or want to get good I don't have time and because it's laughable on its own. I don't care and I'm going to try for strangers that are jerks, I just want a couple of unlocks and this is the path I am forced to take to get them. not out of fun or desire for PVP or operations, just to get what I want out of it. I mostly play swtor for star wars story content, which is why I'd play any older Bioware game. There's way way waaaaaay better games out there that do pvp right and are fun, This game is not it. In fact, most of the people in the PVP matches or operations make me cringe like Disney's sequel trilogy. They are so hardcore about it, like it matters but let me break it to you, it doesn't matter. Also, this game is awesome for star wars RPG and there are no other options, especially for this kind of character customization and pre-disney. They put far more money and development time into that than the afterthought pvp. People playing this for PVP should probably rethink that choice. And even in the pve you always get some aggressive person who thinks they own the spawn in an area and follow you all over killing what you are trying to fight. It's embarrassing people are like that and that behavior should NOT be tolerated in this game. I've had less toxic experiences in GTA Online.

Can someone show me a link to a good dps pve gunnery build? I'm still new to this game and the thread is a bit confusing. I'm not looking to heal people just playing solo mostly. Don't care for pvp, just a pve build that's fun.

Is there any thigh boots like the ones the operative gets that are social and easy to get for someone who mostly solos and doesnt play alot? My sith warrior uses the battlemaster ones even though I won't get that bonus but I don't care, i just like the look.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll just mix the two up. I really love the cover mechanic and use it more on cover (I play pve) and it's fun but sometimes the damage isn't that great. Maybe it will improve in the later 20s. I definitely want to use a bit of engineering though. I notice sometimes when I play the sniper, I'll just break out of cover and kill things normally, so while I enjoy it, I like to mix things up. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing though.

Does straight out engineering play fast? Do you still get to use cover? I really like the feature but I like doing it as fast as possible.

I like that it's solo friendly, though I like playing in a duo. I have no interest in pvp or flashpoint stuff. I just play for the story. I wish they did have the cosmetic cash shop like lotro. I'll probably go back to lotro if they turn this game into some forced grouping. It's fine if they leave it as a choice though. These days I don't have time to wait around for people. That's why I stopped doing pvp. I just dont have time to sit through it or ... do anything really that long to enjoy it. I used to be a hardcore mmo player but I own a company and have a life but gaming is still my favorite hobby. It's nice I can play how I want in this game.

thank you both for the direction I needed. I'm going to try this out and try the other spec a bit as I play and get a bit higher. Around what level should i start investing in the engineering tree? What skills did you put back into MM? Was the knock-back skill one of them? Also one thing I wasn't clear on but respec's go up in price but the price resets after a certain time right?

Hi, I want to respec the character and haven't played it for a long time, but I am unsure of which way to go. I wanted to put points into marksmanship and engineer possibly, but if anyone can help me out with some suggestions I'd appreciate it. English isn't my first language so I have trouble with some terminology if it's not spelled out, which might be alot of my struggles with trying to build this character. Also this build like the title says is for PvE. I duo occasionally with a bounty hunter friend, but I want to be able to keep up with damage. I like how marksmanship worked from what I remember but I also remember I was struggling to get damage out of it. I like using explosives too but mostly shooting. Again, I apologize for anything that is difficult to read above, and hope someone here can lead me to a build that is good for PvE. I could go with Lethality but it's not really my thing. I do like to run around and shoot, but I like sniping too, maybe more if the damage is acceptable. Maybe if someone could recommend a build. At some point I can go pvp but i've played alot of pvp and I don't like it really. Just into pve at this point. I hope someone can help. I am looking for damage and fun most of all.

Damage seems alot less to me actually. I don't know, I used to really like this class but I dislike lethality (personal dislike) so I won't respec into that.

Maybe but i don't remember those. Plus the person might be out of town when i need to call(but I can't call). They should make it easier. I remember doing those questions fast long ago because I didn't think I'd be playing this game past 2 days and just wanted to get in quickly.

yeah is BioWare thinking? I can never call as I am mute. I have one friend who could call but they aren't female so BioWare would assume that's just some hacker talking. What do I do?
