  1. I wouldn't say never. You have already made connections in the game via this thread. This threat actually reinvigorated me and my love of the game. Not wanting to run content with other people doesn't mean no connections. There are times I want to group, and then there are times I just want to go disappear into the story and not be distracted by anyone/thing. Either way, no matter the mood, part of what has kept me here are the people I've met in the game, and the shared love of the Star Wars brand itself. You just never know what the future may bring, and where it may lead you.
  2. I have phases when I get too goal oriented. What has helped immensely this year, I have been much busier in RL and haven't been able to be in the game anywhere near as much. That makes my play time more fun, and I don't burn out and such. Maybe all you need is a break, we all take them now and then, and that's OK. Who knows what you will feel/want 3/6/more months down the road. Best of luck wherever your virtual feet land next.
  3. For those interested, I went ahead and created a channel called CasualCorner. If you would like to join the channel, you type /cjoin CasualCorner, (case sensitive I think!) and it will say in yellow text in your chat window that you successfully joined the channel. Everyone who joins the channel, can then chat with each other on that "frequency" and see when each other logs in. How to chat in the channel depends on if you have joined any other channels, and how many. If you have never joined an additional channel (other than general, trade, etc) it should default to 4. So, you'd type /4 and hit enter and your chat bar should change to the channel name. If you have other channels, it will be a higher number. Figured this was a way we could all connect guild or not. Obviously, this is on Shadowlands, and I did create it on Pub and Imp sides. Would be funny if that channel already existed and people are on it. LOL:eek:
  4. Same for me. I have 1 toon on Harbinger because I have a few RL friends who are on that server, but they rarely play. I find Shadowlands to be a very nice happy-medium.
  5. Welcome to our "Casual Corner!" Corvibean and I do have a guild that is really just us, and our myriad of alts. Anyone who wants a guild just for the XP, or to enjoy some tomfoolery in guild chat now and then, is more than welcome to join us. Mischief and Mayhem on Pub side, and More Mischief and Mayhem on Imp side. I think some others in our little chat group here have a guild or two as well. I don't care about promoting our guild, growing it, making it L33T, or any of that buttmunchery. Our goal was simply to have a place we could plop our alts, and if like-minded people wanted a landing spot, it would be there. I'm not against doing group content, or grouping up to help people, I just don't believe it should be a requirement of any guild membership. What I've actually been doing, I have all of my toons but one in our guild, and have 1 toon in a much larger guild for group content when I'm in the mood. Another awesomely sarcastic group of shenanigan makers called Lords of Anarchy. Anyway, sorry I haven't responded more the last couple days, RL has grabbed my attention' I am almost done decorating! Way behind this year, usually do it week of/after Thanksgiving. I will try to catch up on the posts I've missed and respond accordingly soon. Anyone who wants a landing spot, can search us on Shadowlands. Or, get really wild and crazy, and spread your alts around a few guilds. Meet some amazing people doing that too!
  6. Please schedule yourself for immediate incineration. Seriously though, I have not seen this. But, I tend to use the vaccines to avoid being infected in the first place.
  7. I believe you can hit 70. I think it's only the actual "endgame" activities you'd be locked out of. IE: Galactic Command, Ops, Uprisings, etc.
  8. He is. He's just one of those characters that makes me think though. "What would I do in his shoes?" "What would it be like to be caught between a dark council member and my character?" Etc. And, if a character in a game can get me thinking, it's a good thing. Kaliyo... when I'm playing a character that is just all about wild abandon, no morals, and general mayhem, I will play with her. However, that's not how my agents usually end up developing. Hmmmm... Maybe it's time I try a loose-cannon agent from hell. LOL
  9. I would say, my favorite (American version ) companion on the agent alternates between 2. Believe it or not, Quinn is one. Without being all spoilery, I like the conflict in his story-line, and the conflict that he goes through with it. The other is Vector. I just find his character fascinating, and the voice acting for his part is stellar.
  10. There is that. I need to go back and look to see if any of my unclaimed ones on my expansion toons are higher influence than what I currently have.
  11. I have to make an admission: *taps mic* "Is this thing on?" "I... loathe.... Kaliyo." There, I said it. LOL For me it would be, "I spent Friday evening incinerating Kaliyo."
  12. I don't know if you knew this or not, but there is a terminal you can claim all your "lost" companions with if you want them all back. However, they won't be part of the story, and won't be available to run KoTFE or KOTET chapters, unless they actually came back into the story by then. I have not done this on any of the characters I have done the expansion with. For me, I need to have them back the "right" way, if that makes sense. Just showing back up to summon, without a reunion, to me is just not right. As for the missions, I admit I've never really read the descriptions, I think I need to check them out now. Glad you joined our conversation!
  13. 16 pages before it happened though. I wonder if that's a forum record. LOL
  14. This is what I came to suggest actually. If they want to keep things for sale with Cartel Certificates as the currency, allow us to buy Cartel Certificates with the tokens.
