  1. the preorder bonus is access to the black-yellow color crystals, and the preorder vendor( which sells crystals for lvl 47 and 50 as well) That is all. the founder title isn't from preorder, but from subscribing during the first couple months of the game. The portable trainer is from preordering hutt cartel, not the original game.
  2. City of Heroes/Villains had this as well. You could either "sidekick" someone up to your lvl range, or scale your lvl down to theirs so you could quest together. I have run into this problem a few times already. All the toons I want to play are already decently levelled, or capped. I get a buddy interested in playing, but I don't want to go through all the content again with a new toon. I am limited to either running them through flashpoints, or out of party healing them while they quest.
  3. Oh yeah, the space combat in galaxies was awesome. All the customizations to the ships, being able to decorate them, having multiple combat positions, etc... EPIC I remember having so much fun in space pvp, or corvette runs with my guild. The space combat in ToR reminds me of disneyland. You are basically on a ride bolted to a track. Space combat is more like a log ride than star wars. Even without all the customization options, giving us non track based space missions would be a start. They could keep the same missions, and just remove the track. That would be one major improvement. Obviously, free roam would be the best, but removing the track flight system would give us something nice to have some fun with while they figure out how to do something better with space.
  4. At least you can type during the splash screen. When I am in FPs I usually get the splash screen after taking elevators. if it doesn't go away quickly I hit the enter key to activate the chat window, and type out a message to my group. usually something like "attack of the hutt cartel, brt as soon as the splash screen is gone". Can't see myself typing it in, but it does work. When the splash screen goes away I can see that my msg did go through, and usually see a couple "lol's after
  5. You know it is really sad that a game that came out many years ago had space content that blows this game's space content out of the water. In galaxies, ( with the expansion JtL) you had free roam space , space pvp, group missions, etc. You could do missions in your own way with your own strategy. This flying on a set path nonsense is a joke.
  6. before the free to play thing came along, those of us who wanted the game had to purchase it. There has never been any bonus or recognition of this. I am not talking about the bonuses for digital deluxe or collector's edition. I mean that every person who actually purchased the game kinda got hosed. We paid good money for the game, and then it becomes free to download. Can we get some recognition for the money we spent?
  7. I have been talking to people in game about this. it seems most people agree that having no previous location option in these HMs is just plain silly. in the HMs there should be no need to use the computer after the final conversation on the bridge. Have the final conversation, and give credit there at that point. It is not story mode, so finihing the story of the flight to the capital world is just dumb. Just let us get credit for completion and use the exit area button like in every other HM, so we can just choose previous location.
  8. Can we lose the choice between fleet or captial world at the end of Black Talon/ esseles HMs? if a random FP queue pops and it is one of those HMs, it sucks. The only way to complete it is to fly to either fleet or the capital world. there are several problems with that: #1 all other FPs let you choose your previous location upon completion exit #2 there are alot of jerks who choose capital world just to put people somewhere inconvenient #3 If I am running around doing dailies, and I get into a FP, I don't want to have to go through 2 more loading screens just to get back where i was. I can understand it being there in the lowbie FP, but there is no need for that in HM. just let us get our completion reward after talking to the final NPC without making us choose a destination at th terminal to get our completion rewards. thanks
  9. So you show up in ths thread just to point out other threads that are similar, instead of putting any USEFUL information into this thread. Too much time on your hands? Maybe get a hobby so you don't have to browse forums looking for places to put useless posts on.
  10. here is a thought; not all of your players can afford new high end systems. I know that many people experience "lag stuck" issues, where they get temporarily stuck in place while waiting on scenery around them to load. maybe adding a preferences option that allows people to turn off these things would help. I know many objects in the world are collidable, and thus could not be turned off without further issues. However, there are many things that slow people down that really aren't important. Things such as speeder traffic in the air, holograms, paintings, pass-through type plants, etc. I know no matter what i do, whenever I have a toon enter the senate tower, i always get stuck for like 15-20 seconds at the doorway waiting for the holograms on the pedestals and the potted plants to load. This issue is really bad when you are speeding through an area ignoring aggro and suddely get stuck while the game loads scenery that wouldn't prevent motion anyway, such as dead bodies on the ground or textures that are out of character reach. An option to turn off this "bonus scenery" would speed up gameplay and load times for tons of people.
  11. I agree. People need to quit complaining just because they suck at making credits. Just because a small percentage of people cheated to get their credits, doesn't mean the rest did. Quit complaining you noobs. learn how to make legit credits and stop tryign to spoil it for those of us who have more gaming skill than you.
  12. If all the people whining about how credits are so hard to make would just pay attention to the non-exploit opportunities in the game, you would have no issue. My commando is 31, with over 500,000 credits. How did I do it? well never made it to ilum ( didn't even know it was in the game til I read the forum posts about the exploits last night during patch maint lol), didn't have slicing. Quite simple: I didn't waste my money. Besides repair ,taxi and training costs I didn't spend a single cred. I was biochem, making my own medpacks and stims, and selling the ones i didn't use for fair price on the galactic market. With a couple hours everyday just running around gathering mats myself, I gained more than enough to lvl my crew skills, and have more than enough left over to sell. (selling spare mats adds up too!)It takes time to do this stuff people. if you seriously devote some time to gathering and crafting, you can make a killing without charging ridiculous prices. You don't need to buy gear. The natural course of questing will provide that, especially if you do FPs. If you have a good guild, you don't need to buy mods. Just trade some of what you can make to a cybertech and there ya go, free mods. Just because some of you can't grasp the concept of going out and working for your credits doesn't mean those of us who have done it the right way, and worked hard for our credits deserve to have ours taken away. They are punishing those who were found to be exploiting. Don't you DARE try to suggest punishing those of us who know how to properly earn our credits. Just because those complaining are no good at making credits doesn't give them the right to demand that those of us who are should be punished.
  13. You will get real armor.Just keep doing your class quests, make sure you hit some side quests along the way. There are some decent rewards out there. Maybe you will find something which you think has a better look.Once you can do Hammer, do it. Do it a few times until you see some upgrades come your way. My commando was about 16-17ish when he got his true armored look.
  14. No sweat, glad to help. I may get into rp myself, but first I wanna see what the environment is in game. Many MMOs have RP servers, but never enforce the server as RP, so those servers end up useless wastes of space. I know in world of ripoff, they have RPrs on RP servers, but they have gone so far into hiding due to all the non-rprs who took over the servers. I really hope Bioware doesn't let that happen here. If you find good RP, send me a message and I will come join you! cheers!
