These are the issues I care about. All this "the game sucks and I leveled too fast and blahblah I'm an entitled jerk" annoys me, but this guy just wants his freaking goatee back! GIVE THE MAN HIS GOATEE, BIOWARE! No sarcasm.

I agree with you on this point therefore it must be true! Have you guys never played an MMO? They're all like this, even months or years after release. There are problems and things people find annoying. Devs will fix them. I just wish there was an Off-Topic forum where people could chat without having to deal with game-related whining.

I'll second this one. Players should come before companions, but if it's a marginal upgrade for a player and a big upgrade for a companion, I'd give it to the companion. But seriously...the best part of this entire thing is to talk to everyone prior to the instance. If you disagree with them on looting, don't run with them. Yes, people are jerks. I rarely ran with people I didn't know because I don't want to have to deal with it.

When I was playing WoW, I would need anything that would be good for my class and main spec, even if I was too low level. If I was a healer and it was for a DPS spec, I'd ask if anyone else wanted it. The best thing to do is to discuss prior to the start of the instance what the looting rules are or find people you trust to play with you. And don't group with another person of the same class if you don't want to be outbid.

I don't have a lot of experience with MMOs in beta, but my husband has been playing them for years and he is fairly impressed with how well this game plays at release. He tells me horror stories about World of Warcraft when it was released back in 2004; we're spoiled nowadays.
