  1. LOL, it wasn't a macro Ward. I literally typed it all out every time because I care!
  2. I think the recent blow up in PvE drama provides you with some material / inspiration for next episode. PS: I wonder when I can't post anymore as my sub should have run out by now
  3. Hi guys, I've unsubbed for now and have 2 more days left on my subscription for SWTOR. I still keep in touch with the <Midian> folks and log onto the <Midian> mumble everyday. Thanks for all the games and time to everyone including my fellow <Midian> guildies as well as those from the republic side. Hopefully F2P kicks off soon and that server population goes up again with new players or server mergers etc. I'll you see again then. Try to play nice while I'm away! Good luck and have fun. Kei out.
  4. LOL, I laughed so hard with this. You sir, have a great sense of humour I see what you did there .. How did I become King Kei ?? lol Anyway, Keep up the great work. Yvaine - I lol'ed at "King Ward and Queen Vixie"
  5. Ah okie. Well, I'm not sure if we have found a solution yet. But the least we can do is deal with the situation constructively and amicably.
  6. Hi Daecon, I hope you didn't take offense in that. My reply was merely trying to see if we can offer some help. I mean no disrespect. I was just gonna ask our guys but if you or others are not comfortable with it, please let me know and I won't persue further. All I want is to ensure that we deal with any issues constructively if we can.
  7. Hi Mosus, thanks for letting us know. I'll definitely try to find an opportunity to raise this with other PvP officers and the PvPers of <Midian> and see if we can work something out. Could be tough but I'm sure some of us are willing and can help one way or another. Can't promise anything myself but I'll try and will let you know if there is any progress. Kei out.
  8. Totally agree and thumbs up for this. Guys, I implore those who are involved in the flame wars to once and for all STOP this flaming madness. Such animosity and hostility and mutual bashing is not going to help. Please all keep the discussions constructive. You are all just going around in circles and if you keep seeing provocative and vexatious posts, please stop taking the bait. Just dismiss it properly. If you must, deal with it constructively or don't do it at all. There is a big chance that the poster of the vexatious comments/replies is simply trying to elicit a response so that they can keep the mindless flaming going. For the record, the PvP officers of <Midian> including myself do not support any flaming, trolling or vexatious exchanges as they serve no constructive purpose. Therefore, any such conduct are not supported nor endorsed by us. There has been some constructive discussions between the parties but at times such discussions have degenerated to hateful exchanges. Let's try to keep it constructive. Passionate discussion is one thing; hateful speeches are another. On the same token, any attempt to put <Midian> as a guild into disrepute is futile. People, I implore you to focus on the real issue, Bioware. Help out Chippy with his campaign. Please do something constructive.
  9. Heya, I'll make sure I'll let the guys know about this and see how they go. I know the time-zone could make it a bit tricky as we have kiwis in the team and it could be hard for them to start queuing late. In any case, what is your in-game name? I think it's best to check in-game online with one of our PvP officers (either Ward, Primate or myself) or Davito. I'm not normally online at 7:30 nowadays but just do a /who midian and look us up =). Have fun and good luck!
  10. Hey man, that is fair enough and I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, I think this could is due to the lack of RWZs running which led to my guildies to run normal warzones instead. I can personally assure you that they are trying hard to get into RWZs but it is simply not happening so all we can play now is normal warzones. It's either that or not play at all it seems for PvPers. I will try to ask the peeps to go easy on others but I'm not sure if I can lol xD. Fingers crossed that F2P will come soon and that you guys will have a lot more ppl playing and a greater diversity and *very hopefully* competition. Naa, I see where you're coming from and your frustration but as I said before, the impact of what <Midian> is doing to PvP on the server is a tiny tip of the iceberg compared to Bioware's decision to ignore us which ultimately iskilling the servers. I don't think we could have that kind of awesomeness to kill a server as a mere guild
  11. Guys, I think there is yet again too much animosity against each other in this thread. It is partly due to a lot of misunderstanding between members from both factions; from <Midian> or otherwise. I sincerely implore you all to refrain from judging each other so quickly. Let's have a bit more respect for each other when we post. I can't speak for others but I can speak for <Midian> and our stance with Ranked Warzones ("RWZs"). We believe, and always have, that RWZs are by nature meant to be highly competitive and it is our understanding that it is intended that all teams give their best shot and/or to endeavour to bring their best to RWZs (obviously not to the extent of cheating, hacking etc.) to win. I believe this has what we have been aspiring to do as a guild so far as RWZs are concerned. I say ‘aspire’ as whatever you see recently in RWZs with <Midian> is not the full core team. I am sure many of you would know who are in the core team <Midian> and those who faced the new team would have seen some new faces (such as Luc, Sept, Vixie etc.) which were not originally in the core team. We have chosen to run a new team as, inter alia, we believe the core team has had its fair share of RWZs and it was good to give some of our newer members a chance to train up and check out the scene of RWZs with some of the members of the core team <Midian>. I believe our decision to re-queue for RWZs was never to 'stomp' other teams. If it were, we would have ensured we did it with our full core team as the core team <Midian> have a proven track record of 97+% win rate with over 120 RWZ wins (& 3 loses). I honestly thought that the current team that <Midian> is running would have competitive (read 'close') matches with the team from <IS TRULY OUTRAGEOUS>. Like a few others from the core team, I myself have stepped down to give newer players a taste of RWZs with <Midian> and having re-watched the 2 new games, I would say they were decent games though it was clear that both teams needed a bit of work in terms of coordination. Not surprising as both teams had to learn to work with new team members. I don't know exactly what others mean when they say 'balanced teams' but my hope is that this new team that <Midian> is running is more 'balanced' in the sense that others put it. Despite <Midian> winning both matches recently against <IS TRULY OUTRAGEOUS>, I certainly hope that they and other guilds won’t be discouraged from queuing RWZs again as I know that is precisely not our intention. Believe it or not, Davito and some others from <Midian> have been trying hard to get RWZs re-ignited (hence the start of this thread). Though, obviously, it won’t be against our core principle with what RWZs should be about. In terms of the core question posed by Jump, i.e “you guys do know all you’re doing is destroying the server even more right?” I simply am not sure. Anecdotal evidence aside, I’m not even sure if anyone has actually performed a proper analysis on the net impact on the server population due to <Midian> queuing for RWZs again. However, I reiterate that players from <Midian> play legitimately and fairly and whatever we do in RWZs are within the realms of what is allowable and intended by the developers. Therefore, even if we entertain the thought that us <Midian> queuing are indeed destroying the server even more (which is still a moot point), it is all but a sad and harsh reality; legitimate players playing the game as intended but somehow could destroy the community due to a severe lack of population. The root cause and culprit, I assert, is in fact Bioware’s lack of action towards saving the Oceanic servers. TL;DR At the end of the day, to put things into perspective, whatever effect we have on the server, I would respectfully assert that it is all but a tiny fraction compared to the decisions of Bioware to run the game. In this respect, we are all common victims and are all in the same ‘sinking’ boat. In closing, I would ask that you all to instead help Chippy out with his thread and his campaign to raise awareness of the APAC SWTOR situation by supporting his thread. I know I have. Have you? Kei out.
  12. Y'vanie - lol, you are normally pretty slow at updating your forum signature but you've updated it already when I only invited your alt Y'vainne to <Midian> late last night! Bobcow - I have heaps of screenshots. Miss the good old days against the RWZ <Core> team especially your epic heals... great memories
  13. Nice find Y'vaine! That's 1 of the 3 matches that we lost during our RWZ today when we had 3 non-core Team <Midian> members. It was hilarious cause at some point Pom just stood there for up to 5 seconds when Pink was saying some special term she has for HB landmark so that Pom could pass to her but Pom was like "Waaaaaaaaaaa??":rak_02: Good memories =)
  14. I know right... Bioware - if you're reading this, please move this back to the main server forum, this does not belong in the guild recruitment sub-group. Thanks.
  15. This is a terrible sign guys... =( What is the future of APAC SWTOR or rather SWTOR itself? http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/10/03/daniel-erickson-leaves-bioware/ Trying to have hope but it's getting harder and harder... What do you guys think?
