  1. Yet again, this will require money and resources. You will need to hire people to do those things.
  2. And this would be the perfect incentive for trolls.
  3. You're not getting the reasoning of my post. Regardless of the reasons on why we need mods, if BW doesn't take the effort in even hiring in-game GM's or live agents, it's highly doubtful that they will hire moderators for trivial matters such as chat. Notice the word "hire", and hiring involves money and resources.
  4. We don't even have in-game GM's or live agents to assist us in our affairs, so what makes you think they're going to hire moderators for something trivial as chat?
  5. If you compare it to Arsenal, it's not exactly up to par with that spec. Also, dot spreading is a nightmare. Thank god for 5.6, huh?
  6. Please god, no. I don't want this game to turn into something like ESO, where you can play around with like only 4 buttons, lol.
  7. You have to use rapid shots here and there now. Compared to IO though, heat management is not too big of a deal for arsenal. In pvp, the spec is still fine, however for pve, it's dmg got nerfed so hard that it's now rock bottom in dps.
  8. Making excuses? It seems like you're the one making them since it is apparent that utilizing a simple utility like /ignore is just too hard for you to use and instead, you come here complaining about it. That's called whining. So you would erase just about anything that upsets you? I'm glad you're not in charge of this game lol... I admit that trolling isn't exactly all sunshine and rainbows, but the internet is the exact same thing. It's hard to erase the stem that causes all this toxicity especially when bw/ea does nothing about it and hasn't since the launch of the game. It's just not part of their incentive. Another reason why the community is so toxic is due to the fact that bw/ea has failed this game on many occasions, and there are a lot of angry people about. Trolls will always exist wherever we go, like I have said, but if someone is angry at a company for ruining their precious game, they will also follow suit and turn into a toxic person.
  9. Then I all can say is 'embrace the suck'. Btw, /ignore does not cut you off from gen chat completely, so I'm not sure what you're on about. Cutting yourself from gen chat is a completely different utility than /ignore. I, myself, don't have a single person on my /ignore list, and in doing so, I'm able to help people along the way via whispers if things in gen chat get too hectic. Why? It's because I've experienced this kind of toxic behavior in every MMO that I've played and have grown accustomed to it. Trolls exist in almost every area of the internet, whether it be in MMO's, simple social gatherings, or anything that's affiliated with the internet. It's time for others to get used to it as well. If not, then like I have mentioned before, the utilities are there.
  10. Hiding gen chat and /ignore are your friends. Utilize them.
  11. I don't mind ppl watching cutscenes in sm fp's, but when it comes to hm... best to skip that ****, otherwise go back to sm if you want to view the short conversations again.
  12. Ok, so I had to turn off vsync off in-game. That made the FPS shoot up all the way to 100+!!!!
  13. Bw only replies to cartel market inquiries, sorry.
  14. Are you mental? Game is easy enough as it is.... da f u q? Just join a good group and clear it... ez.
  15. Well, after switching to fullscreen from fullscreen (windows) and back again, the fps drop issue temporarily dissipated, but only if I use that method. It seems like it's a GPU driver issue, but I'm not entirely sure.
  16. My temps are hovering around 60 C with the game in the background. I'm assuming you mean Win10 home edition?
  17. This happens when I'm just sitting on fleet/guild ship doing nothing. And what do you mean by caching?
  18. Well, I mainly play via fullscreen (windows) mode, so should I switch to fullscreen instead?
  19. Well I checked my 3D settings via NVDIA window, and vsync is off. My CPU is at around 25% with swtor running, and I haven't noticed anything different that may be hogging the CPU. So far, it's only been happening whenever I run swtor. Other games are fine.
  20. Hello, Whenever I have chrome or any other browser opened up with either discord or a twitch stream in the background, the game goes from 60 frames to a fixed 30 constantly, back and forth, in a random manner. This has never happened before, but up until a few weeks ago, it started being a persistent annoyance. Is there a reason as to why this is happening? Thanks.
  21. Just last night, a guildie of mine got extremely lucky and acquired one via a random drop in Belsavis.
  22. It's called adapting and improving. There are three different rotations that I use, but all of them require me to use rapid shots no matter what due to the massive amount of heat that I get if I don't. If this spec is not up to your expectations, then I suggest you play another one. It's what we have to live with. This is what makes the spec very fun and rewarding to play. Risk and reward.
  23. I'm guessing you're making your point from a pvp perspective, as I was more forthcoming from a pve point of view. I don't pvp much, but I have noticed that heat IS an issue when it comes to wz's.
