No. Bioware said something about being able to do that in the future, but who knows when?

I play a currently lvl 30 Sorcerer with the lightning tree spec. Personally, I do think this particular build lacks crowd control since our only real AOE is chain lightning, but against single targets (especially bosses) we do quite a bit of damage. It generally doesn't cause a problem cause I always play with my friends. Lightning has oomf, as you put it, you just have to direct it at a single target.

For the marriage thing, you have Revan and Bastila. They were married after the events of KOTOR, and the Jedi Order tolerated it mostly because they were War Heroes. Now, the Council wasn't pleased with this, but as long as they didn't make a huge deal out of their marriage it was okay. Also, you could just have a rogue Jedi like Jolee. He didn't believe all the teachings of the Jedi Council, so he just retired and went his own way. Now since he wasn't evil or out doing evil things, the Jedi let him go.

I'm just wondering if there is some way to disable certain attacks by your companion. I'm a smuggler/gunslinger and Corso keeps using this attack that pulls enemies in right next to us which is terrible for me because it completely screws up my cover. Any advice?
