  1. Welp gotta make some quick apologies. Thankfully the second or third person to reply educated me on what I had failed to grasp for the last 2 months about the questions. Gudarzzz the questions look fantastic, and you know this as I've already told you in-game on the PTS. They do even look more polished than the ones I told you looked great back then. I was telling you to hurry up, and I was in a rush about the class rep thing in August because I didn't realize that you were scheduled a date to submit the class questions and get a reply and if you had submitted earlier that nothing would have happened. When people kept saying "he has until october", I was thinking the deadline to have those submitted was october, not that he can't submit early and get a response upon being submitted. I had missed the dev post about it and I thought time was ticking away. You can tell you have put a lot of effort into the questions and I really do like them a lot, especially for Carnage. Thanks for not blowing up on me and calling me out for being a complete idiot when reading this, and since you didn't, I'm here to call myself out first. I am a loudmouth, I don't even know how this account still has forum access after all my infractions, nor could I do the job of being class rep, from my point of view I honestly thought we had a deadline and I wanted to be early so we could get a response sooner rather than later. Glad you were picked as class rep, he is a fantastic Marauder and I know this from playing with him.

  3. Well if that's the case then everyone who didn't get a chance to to submit were screwed. The reason why I felt otherwise is the below excerpt. Once we have returned the Shadow and Mercenary top 3 which were submitted last week, we will be putting it on hold.
  4. Statement retracted, I misunderstood the questions submission procedures, but here is the developer quote on the class rep situation:
  5. gosh darnit Gudarzz. I tried to freaking tell you. Every person in here who told me "Be patient blah blah blah" enjoy reading below. Biggest waste of time ever. Yeah sure they will "reopen correspondence" before 2.5 hits (In how many months from now?) but guess what? All the classes who already got their 3 questions answered get to have correspondence TWICE with the developers while we have had sample questions for over a freaking month.
  6. Okay, hate beating a dead horse here... little over 10 days until October and we're one of the last classes if not the last class to submit their questions...
  7. Yeah but that is when 2.4 hits. Unless you'd rather wait until 2.5 or 2.6 before any possible annihilation or carnage tweaks?
  8. Okay, these have been sample questions for a long time. Can we make them real questions now? Or is there any other input anyone would like to add? Nobody has posted on anything in 2 or so days, discussion seems pretty stale. Let's just get these submitted now.
  9. The ONLY way a team is going to stalemate running 1 Jugg Tank 2 DPS healer vs 3 DPS Healer is if those 2 DPS are terrible and in that case, they SHOULD lose. You'd have to be the worst 2 DPS in the world to not burn someone down in 5 minutes on a target with no guard. In any case, I'm suggesting they increase the timelimit to 8-10 minutes per round. In fact Scold, please, get your best 3 DPS and see how often your games last to 5 minutes. Either you blow an enemy up, or one of your teammates gets blown up. There is no inbetween in triple DPS.
  10. imo it's a lot less silly than using acid. 3 DPS does not have the longevity to last 5 minutes much less 8 minutes. Damage has worked in WoW for years. The team with the most damage puts out the most pressure 9 times out of 10. Deciding it on who can PvE better at the end of a match doesn't sound like fun. Literally my PTS matches go like this against a team we can't kill in the 5 minute timer when acid is out: "Alright we got a minute until acid save stuns, knockbacks, obfuscate, and defensives so we take less damage from their attacks and they take more from ours." We'll line up one aoe mezz before the acid starts so we can get fully topped off, then STUN / knockback all their DPS while we unload all of our DPS into their DPS.
  11. 3 dps will never beat a team with 2 dps and a tank because they don't have guard. I've played against teams with 3 DPS who get blown up instantly.
  12. Maybe you've never been on a team good enough to go toe to toe against a REAL team for 5 minutes, so you can't comprehend the point of my post. So I'll excuse your stupidity but after your replies I'm done wasting my team replying to anything you have to say. You're blocked.
  13. Well guess what, teams are turtling to the ACID on purpose and using abilities to prevent the enemy team from doing damage and winning. I suggested this before, but like Scold said, add stealth objects (Allows you to see stealth) like WoW Arena which spawns after a minute or two of inactivity to prevent all stealth teams from hiding. Give the stealth object a DOT, that does 1 damage to the wearer so stealth players can't pick the object up without it breaking their own stealth. Boom. Stealth problem fixed.
  14. It doesn't matter which team is has a single surviving member in the acid. Noticed this in several games that make it to the acid, which happens FREQUENTLY on good teams. Again ruining a true pvp experience. Win should go to the team with the most damage in a stalemate or the team with the most surviving members. Set the timer of every game to 10 minutes to stop the following: In a few games, we lost a member, turtled it to the slime. Used stuns and CC's to stop their damage while acid was ticking, popped defensive CD's and we won. Great PvP Bioware. Next I've had several games where the last player standing was a member of their team, but guess what? We won. Great mechanics. I've also had several games where where 1-2 members of my team were the last ones standing... but guess what? We lost. Several games where teams turtle at their base waiting for us to attack putting us in a vulnerable position, this often times goes 1-3 minutes, then we have 2-4 minutes of fighting before acid comes. Something isn't right about the acid, it's not working properly. Remove it so we can have a REAL TDM experience, not this PvE ******** that I'm running into every time I fight a good team. Matches are CONSTANTLY going for 5 minutes against good teams, whereas ****** teams are lasting 1-2 minutes. If you wanna do the acid for solo Q fair enough, but for group Q where it's a lot more competitive and games run a lot longer. REMOVE IT. It doesn't add any fun element to Arenas except "Oh **** we lost a guy, try to turtle it to the slime with all your defensive cd's and then use stuns/knockbacks/mezzes until the enemy team dies before us" Maybe in your testing where you have average to crappy players testing content for you games are shorter, but when GOOD teams are fighting it doesn't work. You are forcing another PvE imbalance on a PvP experience. The ONLY idea that makes sense, is give it a 10 minute timer. The team with the MOST members alive OR in the case of every player alive, give the win to the team with the most damage. It will force players to play more offensively instead of just trying to survive for 5 minutes. I knew the acid was going to be a complete joke, and low and behold... it is.
  15. http://Www.twitch.tv/mudclot Looks like they are ending the debate, casual transferred to bastion just for these matches and when its all said and done they are coming back
  16. Really good questions. The carnage ones are my favorite as they address all the issues with the spec. If they can fix those then Carnage will will be a true contender in Arenas.
  17. Thats what im talking bout. What are you averaging on targets without defensives popped? How are you doing with railshot?
  18. What are you critting td for then?
  19. If this is true the glass cannon of pyro pt is back? Anyone running pyro? Yeah yeah i get the fb cgc/snare nerf, and low survivability but im not as concerned with that as i am knowing i can go back to lining up ridiculous burst on a target. I can plan around the classes survivability with my teammates.
  20. Your problem is willful blindness: the human propensity to ignore the obvious.
  21. There is 14 pages of feedback in another thread discussing our AC and issues with it. The discussion has been beaten to death. When is it not going to be premature? In a month when we only have 2 weeks left and we're still SOL with no class rep? I'm not like you, I won't blindly wait for someone to come back when we have stuff to do.
  22. I disagree. I'd rather communicate our questions well before 2.4 hits so we have time to hopefully get adjustments in. 6 weeks might seem like a long time to you, but he's already been gone for 12 days. By all accounts he hasn't even looked at these forums. If we're going to get someone that will be an active representative we have to do it now so we can get those questions in a timely manner to the developers.
