  1. They've already answered this question with a "no" until they implement cross server wz anyway
  2. Right Noone seems to object to this. Please bioware may we have this feature?
  3. 1) yep, needs at least a "list my name for this instance" interface, if not a queue system 2) agree 3) you can, theres a drop down box on the right most column to see what guild someone is in 4) agree 100% 5) theres always lesser used companions that you might wanna throw some gear on occasionally 6) game needs a 64bit client, the 32bit client uses 2 processes atm 7) dont pvp much so cant really comment 8) agree 9) you can, theres an option in preferences, only works for active companion however. its under tooltip options 10) only so much that can be done tbh, but maybe more ingenious content is coming 11) agree 12) most of the ds/ls gear is either cosmetic (contains no mods) or isnt better than non alignment gear anyway 13) not just that but all npcs are based on the same body models, this is especially annoying when you see gamorreans that look like humans in pig masks 14) agree, although sometimes its part of the planet's story (ie quesh) to land on an orbital station 15) im lazy and never bother with professions on mmo's 16) also makes your hair disappear 17) no comment mostly i agree with you, but dont forget these are suggestion forums, not "rant about everything that annoys u about the game forums", if you don't like something, suggest a way to resolve it, even if they never implement it, it shows that you have thought about it rather than "this suck kthxbai" also, 2 of your points are due to you not noticing an option.
  4. should this not be a bug report rather than a suggestion? but i'd agree it needs fixing nonetheless
  5. Personally I think the other 2 can be too much of a crutch as well, I play a tank and i could support SOME indication of losing threat, but going as far as omen, naaah. Same as recount, maybe having a personal dps meter linked to a target dummy for your own personal testing, but wouldn't like to see it properly in game, that sort of thing spawns elitist behaviour (even in myself)
  6. Oh, never thought of that option Good idea
  7. That's what I mean.. I'd like it to be a swtor feature rather than an addon
  8. Can anyone think of a good reason why we couldn't have something like this in game? I'm honestly interested in what people think about it.
  9. Titan panel is a bar that goes across the top/bottom of the ui, takes up hardly any space
  10. I should probably mention a few of the functions of it Xp/hour tracker Money tracker cross character Bag status Durability status Location/coordinates Game performance And many other features as well that I can't remember right now. Personally I don't think any of these are game breaking features, just handy additions
  11. I'd like too see an info bar similar to Titan panel or fubar in game. Playing WoW I've become quite used to having the information on hand. I'm not saying I want to see addons in the game, just would like to see this feature added
  12. Gotta make those lazy companions do something right? Earn their keep on my ship
  13. Ok I'd like to address your points one by one. First off, little to NO player interaction. There has to be a balance here, or the areas would get too overcrowded and mission mobs/nodes would be getting farmed with a lot of waiting for respawns (have seen this so many times in other MMOs). For this reason the game has "instances" of planets, to avoid this happening. Also, it could just be that there just aren't that many people playing on that planet at that time. You can always choose to play with a friend remember. Companions "ruining" the game. It was always planned that way, companions were always going to be a part of this game. Loading screen after loading screen Ok to some extent i can agree with you on this one, however the loading screen is there while it caches the planet/flashpoint/etc that you're currently in, and I would rather this happen than have the game stutter or have "invisible" players/npcs while it loads. No world pvp Stop trying to force pvp down people's throats, if you play on a pvp server then generally everywhere is "world" pvp. What you really mean is you want to go disrupt operations on a starting planet. Imagine logging in on your very first character, to find you cant actually do anything because all the quest npcs are being camped. Not very encouraging to new players right? There are outdoor pvp areas on Tatooine, and Illum. In the future, maybe you'll be able to raid opposing faction cities, for now, you can't. No Macros/Mods Personally while I like the idea of utility addons (eg Titan Panel), and being able to rearrange/customise the ui, addons and macros that do x, y and z at the press of one button take away from the game experience and also tend to leave people dependant on them. I know people that can't function on WoW without DBM, most of the time macro's and mods are crutches, and I'm having much more fun playing without addons that tell me what to do all the time. Dimishing Returns In theory there IS a diminishing return, its the resolve bar, which i believe should fill after 2 stuns. Perhaps this needs tweaking slightly as I've experiences a double stun, and by the time I get out of that I'm practically dead so I'm not paying attention to whether I'm immune to a stun or not. Speech Bubbles Actually totally 100% agree with you on that, my chat log gets spammed with a lot of exp gains/loot pickups that I often miss EVERYTHING, not just /say To sum up, this is not WoW, it will never be WoW, and comparing it to WoW which has been out for 7 years isn't going to get you anywhere. This is a completely different game with a different play style. While there are some features from WoW (and other MMO's) which I would LIKE to see in SWTOR, I don't think the (brand new) game is ruined for lack of those features. If you feel this game is completely "ruined" then you are quite free to cancel your subscription, noone is forcing you to play it.
  14. totally agree, being able to just search for something by name would be great most auction interfaces, game or internet auction sites have both a browse AND search function
  15. points for every boss kill maybe, but 2 points for every kill would level up social far too quickly. maelstrom prison for example has 100's of kills in there (at least 130 if you just count the bonus missions)
  16. sounds like you have "show mapnotes for untracked missions" turned on (under preferences>user interface>map)
  17. Also just realised that Cam Clarke does Malygos on WoW
  18. I think its Cam Clarke, who voices Liquid Snake in MGS on the PSX Edit: I've looked him up on IMDB and he is credited for various voices in the game
