for the most part, those that have advanced quickly to level 50 and expected a plethora of endgame content have been disappointed. In my personal opinion, expecting end game content - i.e. lvl 50 but still have tons to do - when a game is new is ridiculous. My opinion is not widespread, and there are a whole lot of unsatisfied players based on lack of end-game content. Those of us (myself included) who experienced the breadth of content - light side, dark side, republic, imperial, multiple servers, etc. have really gotten a lot out of the game. However, those that made a single character have already run that character "into the ground" so to speak, and had little else to do with that character. BW/EA is trying to keep those that did not experience the breadth of the game "on board" by giving them 30 days to try out the legacy system. This is not an attempt to alienate those of us that have made multiple characters, but an attempt to keep those that made only one in the community. If you chose to make 10 level 20 characters, then you have already experienced more of the game than most of the folk with a level 50 character have. Please don't think of it as a penalty that you do not receive your "free" game time, but a recognition that you've seen more of the game than they have - and they're receiving an extra incentive to try out the parts of the game you've played through already.

Running quinn on a tank build sounds horribly slow. I run vette and anhi maurauder most of the time, just to keep the pace fast.

Some of the settings files (*.ini) are in your local appdata folder, typing %appdata% in your path bar gets you close, I forget what all the subfolder structure is to get the ini files... but these hold your preferences like auto loot and what quickslot keybinds are

Just posting to reenforce that quest reward gear is just fine for leveling, but don't forget to use your commendations for some nice upgrades along the way. Modding orange gear can give you slightly better stats at a given level but isn't a huge difference until lvl 50 If you aren't planning on playing 60hrs a week then there is plenty of pve/storyline content to keep you busy, and I'm sure as a rper you'll like the legacy system (and soon to come legacy trees) I'm not big on pvp, but warzones are a very fun way to take a break when questing is feeling "ho hum"

It definately does not always remember your ip from last login, it does remember it at some point though... perhaps last time you changed security questions? I have the android security key now so no way for me to test

You will need an os to go with that... I.e. windows 7 home premium 64bit And if you've never seated a processor & fan ona mobo before make sure you know a friend that has... I've had to do this for several friends cause they thought they did it right but comp wouldn't boot. I don't feel like going to links again but you probably need to add thermal paste (ex: arctic silver) as well

the only issue I have seen of the ones listed here on my marauder is the force choke bug which happens almost every time I use the skill even soloing pve content

I've thought that this was where one of my companions may have gained/lost affectioon but thry aren't with me so there is no further display and it continues on... didn't pay attention as to wether this happened before I had companions or when I had only one

You geta robot that heals when you complete the first planet. There is a better option later, but id hate to ruin the story

Gear updates are bound to change things in the future, picking a class based on what armor looks like is a bad idea in mmo's

Don't blindly trust loading screen tips, I know for a fact there are incorrect tips displayed. The one that comes to mind immediately is the one about binding your mapped recall thing.

Answering questions here and there the opposite of your "main" alignment doesn't appear to have any real consequence other than shifting you a bit closer to neutral for the time being. There are repeatable quests with alignment questions, so theoretically you could completely reverse alignment, althogh this would take quite some time I imagine. Assassin is mainly a tank class not dps from what I have seen. Maurauder is more dps centered but still an off tank. Pure dps is sniper from what I have seen. If you want melee dps, id go maurauder, but again it is not a "pure" dps class
