  1. If you are to use this build to level, do you go up the balance tree first or the tele tree?
  2. Yes, including having everyone log out and reform the group numerous times.
  3. Just beat EV on normal, and now when we switch difficulties and re-enter, it keeps throwing us to the bottom of SoA's pit. Half the raid starts at the beginning of EV, the other half just goes to the bottom of SoA's pit.
  4. Is it suppose to spawn 2 bugs and then 3 bugs back to back? It's happened to us over and over, and not one video that I have watched has had this. Is this something that was changed in 1.1.1? Or what? By the time you are half way through the second bug, the next set spawns but it's 3 on each side.
  5. It's not warzones. It's Ilum. Go do 150vs 150 in Ilum, like what is going on now on The Crucible Pits. Everyone is experiencing major FPS issues and/or lag.
  6. 100 vs 200 currently on Ilum on my server. I5 750 OC'd to 3.6ghz, 16gb Ram, 580 GTX, SSD, and it's a slideshow. Adjusting graphics settings does nothing. The game is poorly optimized. Period.
  7. I'm running an i5 750 OC'd to 3.7ghz, 16gb of ram, 580gtx, SSD, and the FPS in Ilum right now is a joke. We are fighting 100 vs 200 currently, and it's a slide show. Melee can't do a single thing. I pull 100+ FPS NP anywhere, except warzones. In warzones/ raids I pull about 50ish FPS. On Ilum currently, it is a slideshow and is awful. This is a client optimization issue, and a $2000 computer cannot handle this combat. Work needs to be done to optimize the game ASAP.
  8. So, the fastest leveling will still be to use Risha, or Akaavi and stay mainly sawbones?
  9. I just got Guss after Hoth, but have not used him yet. I believe he is finally the healer I'm waiting for. Having leveled as a healer myself for 40 levels, I'm wondering if now is the time to switch to Scrapper for leveling. I tried a few levels ago, and I just took far too much damage without a healer healing me. Is this the time I should switch to scrapper instead of sawbones, and now use Guss as my companion?
  10. Every time last night this happened. Is this a known issue? It hasn't happened the last few weeks. We would have to reset the instance and clear the trash each time from the Annihilation droid. Also, until we reset the instance we would be randomly killed even OUTSIDE of the instance, on the Republic fleet. Any ideas if there is a workaround for this?
  11. What is this emp that you are referring to?
  12. I decided to level a scoundrel after getting my Sentinel PvP geared. What spec or specs are the most optimal for leveling? I know this probably changes throughout the leveling process as you obtain more companions. Currently, I'm level 22 and still have Corso. I'm spec'd as Sawbones, and both him and I are pretty geared out, as I've funded him with my main. Any ideas to improve my leveling speed while questing?
  13. I asked for the caps lock in the post you quoted. You are so bad at this, I can only imagine you in game trying to PvP. You have no idea what the hell is going on. Seriously, the exit to the thread is that way ------>
  14. Please don't say I'm resorting to personal attacks when your first smart *** reply was a personal attack. Seriously child, your board warrior skills are awful, please improve them. Once you do that, you can improve your in-game skills, and finally you can have legitimate discourse on a forum regarding PvP. Until then, see your way to the door.
  15. Sounds like you are just bad at this game, as well as your guild mates and have no situational awareness in PvP. I understand that it's easy for bad players to be unable to grasp everything going on in PvP. Must be user error IMHO. Please show me in the post you quoted where I used excessive caps. Again, you have no idea what you are doing on a forum, thus I can't take your word truthfully when it comes to in-game events. You must be terrible in game, user error IMHO.
  16. Because a post like this gets more of a reply than a thoughtful constructive well written post that may go on a little bit. You get people who reply first with TL;DR. You have to word posts so that the majority of the halfwits playing this game can relate to.
  17. It doesn't even work as intended like most things in this game. If it is full and you pop your CC break, you are suppose to be immune to CC at that point. It works this way less than 50% of the time, it is a broken system. Just like the raiding, just like the flashpoints, just like certain storylines, just like ability activation. It's sad.
  18. I know exactly how it works. I get CC'd, wait until the bar is full white, pop my CC break, and still get CC'd for the next 20 seconds. Broken. Go back to diminishing returns, like every major successful MMO since DAoC. Congrats on your second grade reading level though. You should probably get off of the game, and open a book.
  19. It's absolutely tiring to play game after game after game as sentinel to not be able to control your character. This is incredibly frustrating, annoying, broken, etc. I get one CC break on a 2 minute cooldown. This is the only thing that I can count on reliably. Period. The resolve bar works in every single ranged classes favor compared to melee. Knockback, root, knockback, stun, stun stun, knockback, root, knockback. It goes on and on and on. The sheer amount of CC in the game to begin with is absolte lunacy, and to create some stupid system that doesn't even work is even worse. These PvP masters they have working for their company are a joke. I've PvP'd for 14 years in MMO's. I could design a system that isn't a complete failure like what they have currently. Abilites don't even fire off. All of this compounds into an absolute joke of an experience currently. This game was rushed out the door 3 months before it should have AT AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM. This game really needed 6 more months of work to iron out all of these issues. There is a reason 85% of warzones are ranged right now, because playing a melee is a broken, miserable, experience with the CC. 3 months max until the resolve system is scrapped in favor of diminishing returns.
  20. This is completely unacceptable to be CC'd over and over and over with a full resolve bar. The system is terrible to begin with and IS NOT WORKING AS INTENDED. Period. This needs to be fixed ASAP. I just played a match where I was unable to control my character for 20 seconds at a time, sitting with a full resolve bar. After i get out of the 20 seconds of CC, I'm immediately CC'd again WITH A FULL RESOLVE BAR. This is garbage, period.
  21. Having nearly all champion gear on my Sentinel and rapidly approaching Battlemaster I have noticed a few issues with Sentinels in high level pre-made vs pre-made matches. 1) Crippling Throw. This ability applies a debuff to your target for 15 seconds that reduces healing by 20%. I do believe that we are the only class in the game currently with a healing debuff. The problem is, this isn't enough of a healing debuff, especially combined with my second point. Even with 20% a healer left unchecked is able to keep their target afloat if they are a Shadow/ Assassin, or any heavy armor class. The healing debuff needs to be increased to 40% at the very least if not 50%. 2) Our kick, interrupts spell casting and prevents any future casting of that same spell for 4 seconds. This really should interrupt similar spells. A healer can just switch to another heal and have no issues for those 4 seconds. Unless the healer gets to 30% before attempting to heal you will not kill them. Only if they get to 30% can you interrupt one heal, and then force choke the second heal and kill them. If force choke is down, or they are higher on life you will not be killing them. 3) Having a Knight or Sentinel specific CC break with 4-5s immunity would go a long way. We are the only class in the game that forces us to be in the most direct harm without having heavy armor, or a real stealth mechanic. Everyone else has a reliable escape or massive damage soak. We don't, we spend a lot of our time stunned, rooted, snared, etc. Even if you wait until the resolve bar is full before using the CC break, that still leaves 1 minute and 45 seconds where we can be CC'd all over the place. 4) As I touched on in point #3, we don't have any escapes or heavy armor. We could definitely use heavy armor. When a Sentinel goes up against an Assassin/ Juggernaut/ Powertech with 20.5k HP, Heavy Armor, and a Shield generator we don't do a thing. This is wearing nearly full tier 2 PvP gear. That same tank class, can 1v1 us because the damage we do is absolutely pitiful, while at the same time they are hitting us for 2-3k over and over. Again, for a class that requires us to be in the thick of battle with very little in the way of escapes, we need to be able to soak more. I'm not asking for shield generators or even the HP values tanks have, but we need 40%ish melee damage mitigation. Thanks for reading, and I encourage anyone who would like to talk about any of the above points to go ahead and reply. Again, thanks.
  22. You are such a bad troll it's not even funny. His description of CC is spot on. That's been the description since DAoC and before.
  23. i'm going to assume that this was a witty attempt at trolling.
  24. And is absolutely crippling to melee classes. I have no problem with classes having CC. What I do have a problem with is the fequency at which some of these forms of CC are able to be used. Traditionally in most MMO's CC is used either defensively, or offensively. In SWTOR some classes are able to use both. PBAoE knockbacks on a 20s cooldown when talented is completely imbalanced on Huttball. The cooldowns on some of these abilites really needs to be looked at and adjustments need to be made. It doesn't matter if you let the resolve bar fill up, and burn your CC break because 15 seconds after that you are going to be locked down as a melee, over and over and over. There are times where I'd rather my healer not heal me as dying and respawning would be more favorable than not moving at all while everyone around me fights. You can call this a QQ post, but the reality is that it is true. In 14 years of MMO gaming it's one of the most miserable experiences. I've done my fair share of PvP and this is up there with Magus's pulling in 50 people in Warhammer.
