So I was having a discussion with a guild mate, we're currently beginning to talk about EC Hardmode with our new guild. We've seen several videos on this fight and people seem to do it in different ways.
One of the strategies we saw was to separate the bosses, at around 90% toth jumps to zorn. The tanks swap the bosses and we continue on. After a few seconds, toth turns yellow and zorn starts targeting players to throw rocks at them.
Some videos we've seen once this happens the person targetted runs to toth and then zorn drops the rock on toth, then they do the tank swap again. Other videos we've seen the people just keep dpsing the boss and side step the falling rocks.
With the crack down on exploits and bugs, my guild mate is concerned that not running the rock to toth and stepping it would be considered an exploit.
Not many people are talking about this so I thought I'd ask the question out here to determine if side stepping the rocks would be considered an exploit?? I don't see an offical video from EA or Bioware stating that the rock MUST be ran to toth to knock him out of his enraged state so I don't consider it an exploit. It seems like a sound strategy.
I share his concern for not wanting to be banned so I was wondering what others thought.
