  1. The thing that bugs me and doesnt show confidence for the future: how little, pretty much no thought, was put into this up until now. Now they would have to ban very large number of people that clearly exploit(ed) in past few days and guess what: it aint happening. I guess its time to organize farm fest of my own to speed up path to 60 and beyond.
  2. Have you ever played PvP MMO? First and foremost its PvPers who do this. Its oldest trick in the book. And its design flaw.
  3. No, it has to be shown publicly to show how bad design is and without any thought put into it. I completely support OP. In fact i said that on very imbalanced servers, when losing side quits, winning side will log their alts and farm them. Its no brainer.
  4. Seriously, did anyone think this wont happen? First thing that crossed my mind with "updated Ilum" was trading kills, just as first thing with "old Ilum" was trading points. It will be a while until BW gets it right and for now they are not even close. Anyone who ever played any PvP MMO knows about this. I vote for removing changes to Ilum to old state until they actualy make system that works instead of giant valor farms by trading kills.
  5. Oooh, no he said "put some expertise on PvE gear". Yes, hard to read. Because gear IS balanced atm. PvP - expertise and lesser stats PvE - no expertise and better stats (25% more to be precise) Yah, going around in raid gear one shotting everyone was great. I guess they want that precious feeling back.
  6. Putting expertise on pve gear that already has better stats. Right. Why these "suggestions" never go both ways other than making pve gear even better than it is. Here is another suggestion: put expertise on pve gear and make stats on pvp gear same level as pve gear.
  7. Failure is not to leaanr from those before. Mythic is supposed to be good at designing pvp games? Whats with all noob baby steps "lets repeat ALL mistakes that came before in various MMOs" attitude? Sorry, fail
  8. Why should raider get top pvp progression by pve-ing and pvper doesnt get top pve progression by pvp-ing? Either pvp gear is better in pvp and pve gear is better in pve (expertise) or they are exactly same. So no, its not that simple.
  9. Really, company that brands you exploiter for exploiting wont get your money. Oh well, bb.
  10. On my server during the time i was there it didnt happen. And we, Republic side, had the opportunity. Those who wanted to do this were left do die by turrets and kicked from the group. Thats how you deal with exploiters. BW has to take action against those who exploited by bans (proportional to how long they exploited) and complete removal of earned valor (those who exploited the most should have their valor resetted to 0) and all PvP rewards removed. Thats how you deal with it. No rollback neccessary.
  11. 30vs30 is lagfest. Unfortunately 16vs16 would be max id rate playable, and thats with everything on low and good computer. Game just cant handle more at this point.
  12. That there is primary definition of exploit. Either BW will show that they will punish exploiters, or next time you find an exploit tell everyone how to exploit and exploit away. Its not that hard to figure out who exploited, at least by tech BW claims to have. I want numbers "we banned x number of players due to 18/1 Ilum exploit"
  13. No, rollback is not a solution, bans and removal of exploited valor for people who exploited IS a solution. BW get to work. 2nd Ilum is bad, its actually worse than it was (although we had fun time on relatively balanced server yesterday) and they should have waited until they have decent solution, not half-baked system like this. Whats in it for losing/outnumbered side? Lessened valor gaines (along with inability to acutally gain valor) and being farmed by opposing faction. Cant last long.
  14. All those that used this exploit should be suspended and valor gains for yesterday completely removed. Its that easy. Rollback - no thanks. BW get to work.
  15. As i see it ANY craft skill should get ANY of these boni on their respected craft specfic items. By what you came up with certain classes have to take certain craft and that is not good design. In LOTRO any max crafter could craft BOA relics, lower tier relics were different (and tradable) but any craft could make any top tier (BOA) relic so it was useful to any class. Thats the way to go, BUT, BOP items/craft skill requirement is worst way to go about it (not that any of crafts beside bio/cyber is close to even worthless, they are completely useless). Crafting should be social acivity and evolve ingame economy, how do you think that is achieved with BOP items? Its totally backwards on BWs part.
  16. Now truly crafting is only money sink. These 2 professions offered at least something, now that is gone. Ah, guess its time to go back to slicing. At least it isnt money sink. Unless you nerf that too to actually lose money on that too. If you cant figure out what is actually wrong with biochem/cyber (or all other crafts in contrast) its hard to suggest anything at all. Its because they were actually useful so people started to pick them up because, lets face it, - other crafts are very, very, very...useless. So why not make these two as useless as other crafts? Nice logic there by BW. Whole crafting actually turned up even worse that announced. They said that crafted items will be tad lower than best items and people would look up for crafters and that sort of stuff. Yeah right. Can you tell us Georg, where are those schematics that can make me "best crafter on the server that people look for" and "crafter can make his name famous on a server" and all other promised stuff. Ha? I actually have a suggestion - remove all crafting from game but slicing, and be done with it, because it is totally and utterly - useless.
  17. Delay in Project registers quite nicely in PvE, and nothing is delivered "up front", its quite easy to test it (it has been tested and links posted) On the topic, can someone do comparison of force wave/overload?
  18. Yeah, 0,04 *rolleyes*. There are skills with 1s (or even more) delay. Some quite essential ones. And i said equally skilled not noob vs skilled. Im sure you can punch noobs without problems. So can I.
  19. HMs are not worth the time, they are just fun pitstop when not raiding. I just PvP now, as it will actually yield some useful gear until raiding. Sad.
  20. So aside an advantage, Empire doesnt have an advantage. Bravo. Animation delays impact is quite noticable, to the point where if there are 2 equally skilled teams empire will win just beacuse of this. When it takes 1 second dealy just to get skill off and opposing team "mirrored" skill gets off of instantly its not just "fluff".
  21. The difficulty is fine but rewards are not. Or rewards are fine but difficulty is not. ATM i gave up on HMs and will just wait a week to start operations cause HMs are not worth the trouble *shrug* And i can finish them, did them with PUGs mostly.

  24. Im not in EU. Do i get my monies back? Not whole Europe is in EU and have to pay EU tax. Who do you think keeps the difference in price? I certanly never got anything back in the name of my non-existant EU tax
