  1. Ugh I really hope they add this. Good thing I got a pair of headphones
  2. Dxtory is all fine and well, I would prefer to see an option in-game or by editing the config files though. Thanks for all replies that stayed on topic.
  3. I do not care about screen tearing, all I want is a way to limit my fps in order to not have my GPU run at 100%. Just because you don't notice input lag doesn't mean it doesn't exist, there could be a multitude of reasons. V-sync causes input lag, end of discussion. I wasn't here to start a discussion on v-sync tho, I've already been over that enough times all I was asking about is for a way to limit my fps WITHOUT the use of v-sync. Thanks.
  4. You don't know what you're talking about, try playing a shooter with v-sync on like Left 4 Dead or Portal and tell me it doesn't cause input lag. Now it's less noticeable in MMO's because you don't need the same amount of accuracy but it doesn't change the fact that it's there and that a limit on FPS is a much better option than hitting the v-sync button. I play in Windowed(Fullscreen)..
  5. You think there's any way to accurately determine which servers won't be having queues already when there's new people getting invited to pre-access every day and with release just around the corner? Your server could very well see a big influx of players any day now and you'll be the one asked to switch servers. Think a bit before you ask someone to give up their character and reroll on another server.
  6. Well, is there a way to put a hardcap on the FPS in-game without turning to v-sync(causes input lag and strains GPU more than it has to). Reason I ask is that even on highest settings I'm seeing 100+ most of the time when all I really need is 60, this is making the computer have it's fans at high rotation speeds to keep up with it and makes it a bit noisy. Most games, including WoW have a way to limit it, can you do that in this game?
