  1. I've already vented my frustration regarding being in 3 hour queues in this thread before. But at the moment I'm trying to take a more rational look at the problem. It is coming up to 1:00 pm in the UK and there are 32 EU English servers available. All but 5 of these servers are at 'standard' or 'light' status. Of the 5, 1 is 'full', 1 is 'very heavy' and the remaing 3 are 'heavy'. I know that at least 3 of the 5 servers were start up servers on which Guilds were placed. I also know that when I have being disconnected from my guild's server, Frostclaw, and haven't been prepared to wait for another 3 hours to get back in, I have never had to queue to play on another lighly loaded server. I don't think that it is fair to complain that there are not enough servers. The evidence is that there are. The prolem is essentially one of player distribution. The mistake that was made was to place Guilds on too few servers to start with. I don't know how this is going to be resolved now. EA/Bioware's approach seems to be to try and ride it out in the hope that players will become frustrated enough with queueing and move themselves. Whether or not this strategy will work, we shall just have to wait and see.
  2. I'm sorry but this is not true. The pre-order fee that granted early access was negligble, but yesterday, the 16th December, my credit card was charged for the full price of the game. I'm quite sure that all of those retailers who were asked by EA/Bioware to send out pre-orders for delivery on the 16th December also charged their customers at the time of despatch. As long as this issue is fixed by the 20th December, you may argue that my comment is not vaild, but do you seriously think it will be ?
  3. I'm sorry, I'm not impressed by the opening platitudes. I didn't choose the server I wanted to play on, EA/Bioware did that when they did the guild allocations. I got on to Frostclaw easily earlier today and I've had a great time playing, but now I've been kicked out, in the middle of combat, by a brief server disconnection. If I want to get back in I've got to endure at least a 2-3 hour wait, based of last night's experience and the current queue length. I'm not prepared to put up with waiting that long. Being cynical I notice this problem comes to a head as soon as they have taken our money for the game, that being the 16th December, and now seem to be doing nothing to rectify the problem. Well all I can say is that they will not get any subscription income from me if this issue continues much longer.
  4. I made the mistake of being responsible and logging out to eat. I come back to being 1019 in a queue. Not too bad I thought after my beta experience, but this queue decreases very slowly. The initial estimated waitimg time was < 1hr 15mins. Two hours later I am 250 in the queue, so it's goodnight from me, I'm not waiting nearly another hour to get in. It is all very well saying choose another less heavily loaded server, but my guild was placed on Frostclaw and I already have charcters on thet server. It's a great game, but not worth this sort of hassle if it continues into next week.
