  1. hi everyone. in this post:http://www.swtor.com/info/news/blog/20130102

they talk about bring back the world pvp (not massive world pvp) in the next update 1.7

not with the new details of 1.7 http://www.swtor.com/gameupdates, there is nothing about world pvp. are they gonna bring it? i think that is the more impportant feature of this update.

my question is. are they gonna bring a world pvp (not massive)?

Yea if Bioware could go into some detail about ilum that would be great /bump

  2. I can run this game max with over 50FPS at all times except in massive PvP but even then it stays around 15 - 30 during huge PvP battles.

    Intel I7 3770 CPUS @ 3.40GHz 3.40GHz

64 bit windows 7 operating system

    16gigs of RAM

    Radeon 7880

  3. If you added PVP terminals (minimum) and possibly venders at least one to turn Coms in too and buy med packs and adrenals. That would turn the Den into a place PVPers can hang out.

I agree as of right now Outlaws den feels half done, give people incentives to want to pvp there (comm rewards)

  4. It would be rather cool if once you hit 50 you unlocked a hard mode version of your class story. Also a Nightmare mode for the 50s who completed hard mode and are better geared.

These harder difficulties could unlock new legacy perks and/or could be an additional way for 50s to get geared for operations.

Let me know what you guys think :)

  5. Played 5 hours of the GW2 beta this weekend and honestly it was rather disappointing. The game is poorly optimized and this dynamic events are just WAR's public quests. The PvP is fun but can get very redundant. Idk I think if Bioware can release some viable World PvP/RvR before GW2 comes out they have nothing to worry about. Also from all the bugs I experienced with GW2 it is atleast 5 months from release.
  6. Bioware takes too long with 1.2 - Forum goers whine like hell

Bioware releases 1.2 without rated warzones to make people happy - Forum goers whine like hell and call it "bait and switch"

Bioware gives everyone with a 50 a free 30 days of gameplay - Forum goers whine like hell and call it unfair......

The point of the story forum goers whine like hell.

  7. I would just like to share that ~40 individuals from my college campus along with myself have just created brand new subscriptions to SWTOR. We have never played before, and while the general consensus on these forums seems to be "death to everything that breathes," some people are actually joining the game. Not everyone is leaving.

Have a good day and enjoy 1.2! :D

Forums are filled with negative people cause most of the positive people are playing the game.

FYI prepare for incoming hate lol

  8. ...is the Developers attempts to appease everyone, there are several distinct groups among gamers, in order to be great in one area you have to ignore at least one other, because of the contradictory nature of the different groups in-and-of themselves:

    1. the instant gratification crowd - they want to have everything that everyone else does and not to have to work for it, this is the crowd that can have just as much fun playing Black ops or another console game.

    2. the L33Tists - those who want to be able to hold thier uberduberness above the heads of others, these are the ones who want intensely long grinds or super hard raids that most cannot complete, which reward gear that would allow them to do group quests solo just to prove how super uber they are.

    3. Social Crowd - those who enjoy helping others and just being part of a team or guild, these are the people that spend time just sitting in the social area (fleet) and talking. they arent doing this because they have nothing else to do, its actually why they play the game.

this is also the crowd who traditionally likes the sandbox game.

you can generally appease 2 out of 3 but its impossible to appease all 3, trying to do this will just end up with one mediocre game in which none want to play because they can find something else which will cater to thier singular wants.

just because you have a quote from the great Captain Mal I support anything you say.
