    ~~ 2.0 PVE DPS Leaderboard ~~

    Since many of the servers have mad their own threads fro tracking the server's top dps, i though it would be fun to track it on our PVE Server. All logs must be uploaded to Torparse , other parser's are not permitted. The exact fight with the combat dummy must be linked to be eligible. If you wist to post your spec and gearing you may do so using Torhead for skills and AskMrRobot for gearing.

     

    Rules

    • Must be at exactly 300 seconds (5 minutes) in length
    • The dummy cooldown period following the parse will be cropped by me using torparse's time range tool
    • Only the end of the parse may be cropped. I will not crop out the "ramp up time" at the beginning
    • Must be performed against the Operations Training Dummy champion. Either the fleet or the ship dummy are acceptable
    • Must be performed without any external raid buffs (e.g. no armor debuff, Force in Balance/Death Field or Inspiration/Bloodthirst other than your own)
    • You may use a stim of any variety
    • For sentinels/marauders, at most one (1) Inspiration/Bloodthirst may be used
    • At most two (2) adrenals may be used
    • Activated relics may be used at most three (3) times
    • Pre-parse proc'ing is not permitted (e.g. focus/rage building for knights/warriors). Note that this is very easy to detect in a log!
    • Out-of-combat buffing is permitted (e.g. Combat/Carnage spec Centering/Fury building; Tactics/Advanced Prototype procing of Pulse Canon/Flame Thrower via Explosive Surge/Flame Sweep)
    • Respecing for out of combat buffing is also permitted (e.g. an Operative specing Concealment for Acid Blade, applying the buff and then respecing Lethality for the parse)
    • Absolutely no use of the Nightmare Pilgrim buff (this is an external raid buff!)
    • Full class buffs are permitted
    • No elitism!

     

    Rankings

     

    Rankings are broken down by advanced class and listed alphabetically by the Republic mirror. Each advanced class will list the top three overall parses, it may be extended the more parses we recieve.. Each parse will be linked to its torparse upload and associated with the corresponding DPS value and player name. Each parse is also associated with the spec which the player was using while parsing, and a link to the reply which posted the parse.

    Does General Grievous count? I think he should be considered for somewhere in the list

     

    Responsible for killing many force users, but obviously did not have such an ability himself

     

     

    1. was appointed Supreme Commander of the Droid Army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems

    2. he became a demigod among his people (before the transformation of course)

    3. Gained a reputation of a very skilled duelist

    4. The republic holonet nicknamed him "The Knight Slayer"

    5. Learned all 7 classic forms of the Jedi arts

    6. Gained 6 separatist victories within a month - The battle of Anoth, Bakura, captured critical hyperlane routes running to Bespin, Kessel and Mon Calamari. The final one was "had his battle droid forces on Ord Mantell raze an entire civilian township to divert Republic troops and allow himself to escape" Not sure if this is a strategic victory for the CIS or just for himself. - I think this shows that he was worthy of his title of supreme commander, as it shows he has good strategic skill

     

    However, I've heard that the new animated series portrays him as weak and incompetent (I haven't seen it, can anyone confirm?)

     

    Had he not had his organs crushed by mace windu he would have probably killed Obi-Wan.

    I dont understanding all the qq... i am a pvp player, i have really good gear, i think i am half way decent at it. I get tore apart by 5 members of WOOK. Keep in mind, when one spotted me, he ran off and so i left him be, but, had i know he was going to go get 4 more of his friends I probably wouldn't have let him. Now, did i cry in genchat ??? NO... i understand certain things,,... I understand WOOK is pretty much full of crappy no talent PvP players who have to go 5v1 to win a fight.. I know most of the time they win a WarZone it is because someone carried them, or they got lucky.

     

    What i am getting too, is do a little PvP, educate yourself on who is doing the ganking, what guilds are running around going 5v1. Once you educate yourself some, you really don't get upset anymore. It more becomes laughable. I didnt get mad and cry.. i literally started laughing so hard, i couldnt stop. I didnt even fight back, i was too busy laughing.

     

    It really does become funny when you see it..

     

    Lol yesterday they had around 12 guys and we swept through them with a 4 man of a merc, Maurauder, sage,, and operative

    I read this and am like, Wow. Malgus has to be the most overrated sith being talked about on the forums. I mean im not denying his feats are impressive, however I don't believe he's really beaten any significant jedi (except maybe Satele Shan, however ive already voiced my opinion of her) and he seems rather submissive when confronted by superior sith.

     

    During the Sacking of Coruscant, he was under the command of Darth Angral. From the book Deceived, its pretty clear that Malgus despises Angral almost as much as he despises Lord Adrass, and its also pretty clear that Adrass hides behind Angral for protection from Malgus. Malgus goes after Adrass pretty willingly knowing that hes the stronger of the two, yet does it so Angral doesn't find out. If he despised Angral so, why is it that he kept his murder of Adraas quiet so Angral wouldn't find out. Being a Darth, killing Adraas (a Lord of lower rank) openly would have no consequences as far as the DC goes. The only one who would have a problem with it would be Angral, (a non-DC member whom also refused a seat)(was Malgus even offered one?) and given knowledge Malgus's demeanor depicted in the book, coupled with his hatred for Angral clearly show this:

     

    If he thought he could kill Angral, he would have, just like he killed Adraas. Im not saying he couldn't beat Angral, just that it doesn't make sense that he wouldn't go after him as well, especially if he thought he could beat him.

     

    Also, Malgus refused a chance to face Revan at the Foundry (personally I think he could have won that one, given that Revan was in a weakened/mad state).

     

    That being said, Malgus's notable kills jedi battlemasters Kao Cen Darach and Ven Zallow, along with Lord Adraas and 2 jedi after he had not fully recovered from his injuries on alderaan were impressive, however overrated.

     

    Kao Cen Darach: was already worn out from fighting Malgus and his master Lord Vindican at the same time

    Sacking of Coruscant/Ven Zallow: the jedi in the temple were all greenhorn jedi with Ven Zallow being the only real threat in the temple that day

    -also keep in mind that the next jedi battlemaster Jun Seros, met his end to a bounty hunter if that's any indication of how strong jedi BM's were in this age

    Lord Adrass: hid behind Angral for protection from Malgus, and was weaker than both Angral and Malgus

    2 jedi after his buttwhooping from Satele Shan: ok that's impressive, but better feats have been shown from the likes of Darth's Vader and Sion whom have pretty much shown that they wont die until they want to (literally for Sion)

     

    Personally I think Darth's Traya and Nyriss (maybe Lord Scourge, unlikely but maybe) are both stronger than Malgus and have better feats to back it up. (Not as many for the latter, but beating Lord Scourge and Meetra Surik at the same time easily tops any opponent Malgus has beaten, plus she has stronger lightning.) Also due to the rule of two what about Darth Tenebrous? being Plagueis's master and all?

     

    Wasn't it said in the Agent story that Jadus was the most powerful member of the dark council? Autumatically making him +1 of malgus.

    Wait what. You wiped on first boss with nightmare pilgrim buff? :p

     

    And you're a clicker? :eek:

     

    I don't click on my other classes, but as a mercenary it's much to easy to click and not have to keybind, i can't get away with it on my Marauder.

     

     

    As for wiping on the first boss, I recently dropped quite a bit of crit from my grear so my DPS was way up and we accidentally pushed WH just before the third pool. Not very fun haha.

    Not really, Nihilus could be beaten by anyone who could resist his Force Drain. That was his biggest advantage, you take that away and what do you have?

     

    But only the exile's unique predicament allowed her to resist Nihilus, against any other being in the galaxy he'd consume them.

    ...what do I have to write a freaking novel? It's obvious Bane would destroy Nihilus.

     

    When I get a chance I'll prepare the layout for a Bane vs Nihilus fight. Apologies, for I'm home now and going to log into the game. Cheers!

     

    You realize the only way Nihilus could be defeated was by the tandem of The exile and Visas. Nihilus caould consume the force of any living being connected to the force but because the exile was a larger wound in the force that rendered his greatest strength useless. Even then he would have defeated the exile if not for Visas Marr undermining his connection to the force through their bond.
