  1. Do you find Lightning Strike has much utility? It's a channeled cast and I seem to get equal damage from Shock.
  2. I just hit level 34 and I was just wondering what other healers were using as their damage rotation in PVE. I roll with Andronikus and make sure to have us both bubbled as necessary. I make effective use of my CCs and interrupts, but when we're just burning down a champion level mob, things do feel a bit inefficient. I know I'm specced to heal and that damage is really secondary, but I just wonder if maybe I'm not prioritizing my abilities right. I did just get Force Storm, though, which is great for groups of 3-4 mobs with one elite or less First question: Which DoT should I be using first? Affliction is an instant cast, which I love, but Crushing Darkness seems to do more damage. Second question: Once my DoTs are up, what do you cast? I usually spam Force Lightning, throwing in an occasional Shock or Electrocute to proc Tumult. I rarely use Lightning Strike and I never melee at all. I'll use Overload as necessary for knock backs or sending people off cliffs (love that). Anyway, I was just looking for advice on maximizing my DPS when possible. Again, I know I'm a healer and that's the reason why I have DPS companions. I'd just like to know how to maximize my DPS when I do have opportunities to use it.
  3. I leveled a BH to 16 in the beta and I had no problem going all out light. The lightside choices are usually about mercy instead of malice. You have to remember that the flsashpoint choices aren't class specific, so that's why some of them seem less clearly defined in terms of morality. Hutta doesn't give you a ton of great choices but once you get to Drummond Kass, you start to get a sense of how the Empire does business and how they see you as just a pawn. The lightside choices get a lot more pleasing then.
  4. Whoops, this was in the wrong window. Please close this thread and I'll post in the Bounty Hunter forum.
  5. I'm thinking about rolling a Shieldtech Bounty Hunter but since I never progressed that far in the beta (and I went Arsenal at any rate), I'm curious if this looks like it would be a reasonable tanking spec: My Shieldtech Spec I think I've got the Shieldtech parts right, but I'm not sure about whether or not I'm spending my points right in Prototype and Firebug. It seems like any talents that boost fire damage or crits would be a must given the emphasis on fire-related attacks in the Shieldtech tree. I should also note that this is strictly a PvE spec. I had originally taken No Escape, Neural Overload, and Prototype Electro Surge for PvP, but it just doesn't seem practical to dilute the build that way. I welcome any comments and feedback.
