  1. I also have been having some FPS issues since 3.0. I also seem to lose connection from the server just before a warzone ends. Can't say its my connection because I don't loose connection to anything else when it happens. ( stream, Pandora, teamspeak, ect) All my other programs run fine, but SWTOR will lose connection and exit to the Server Selection screen. Usually happens like twice a day.
  2. I played my level 22 Juggernaut yesterday just to get a feel for it again, and yeah... You're in a tough spot. My rotation was really chunky as you said, and just not very fluid. A lot of the abilities have long cool-downs and so I found myself just running around using my strike and slash. Just push through, I promise it gets better!
  3. Well you're in the right Advance Class area! (Juggernauts and Guardians)! Vengeance is a DPS spec (equivalent to Guardians Vigilance Spec) So if you wish to tank, you are going to want to chose Immortal Spec (equivalent to Guardians Defense Spec). When you go to your Disciplines, there will be 3 choices, 1 for tanking, and 2 for DPS. The tanking one, as I said earlier, is called Immortal, and it will have a "Shield" symbol next to it. I know there are a few good Tanking Juggernauts/Guardians on here that can help you with rotations to dish out some damage as a tank. I'm not a big tank player, so I cant help you on that. However, if you do decided to go straight DPS, I (and others on here too) can help you with that! If your wondering which is better, tanking or DPS for 3.0, That's going to be hard to answer. Juggernauts/Guardians are at a really go place right now with their Tank spec and their Vengeance/Vigilance specs. ( I do believe rage/focus could use a bit more attention, but its pretty good too. I just haven't spent much time with it) If you like lots of survive-ability and utility and just harassing people in PVP, go tank. If you love a very mobile and fluid DPS spec, that has sustained dmg and bust as well, go Veng/Vig. Questions, Do you plan to be more PVP or PVE? What did you play back in the day?
  4. I'm going to go with a Tank Jugg and Hatred Sin. Just picture are the utility a jugg has to harass and keep people busy while the Sin just melts people while taking half the dmg. #Nightmare
  5. I agree that you are just at a very hard level to play at. I have a 60 Guardian, and I have a level 22 Jugg that I kind of stopped playing (since 3.0 release) because of your exact reasons. Its just harder level area for the Guard/Juggs, but just push through and get to the 30's and you'll start to find a much nicer rotation and utilities, and by mid 40's you'll be loving it! IF you took the Same player and bis, here is my opinion. ( I have a level 50 shadow, and 55 assassin, but 60 main Guardian) Both DPS spec 1. Soloing Shadow/Sin 2. PvP - Warzones Guard/Jugg - Arena - Shadow/sin 3. Dueling - depends on a lot of scenarios 4. Farming - (Open world farming mobs or dailies?) Guard/Jugg 5. Raiding - Guard/Jugg Tank Spec ( I;m not much of a "tank" player, so again, these are just basic opinions) 1. Soloing - Shadow/Sin 2. PvP - Guard/Jugg (both cases) 3. Dueling - again to many scenarios 4. Farming - Guard/Jugg 5. Raiding - both play thier parts, but overall i'd pick Guard/jugg
  6. Juggs are WAY easier to play than Guardians...
  7. I'm going to stick with Might Augments, then full power mods and enhancements to min/max. Just like pre 3.0. And once I get fully min/maxed, I'll play with the overkill augments but everything is too expensive right now.
  8. I've got a Naga and i play a Sentinel as well, The best way to set up the Naga, for me, was to switch your naga to (NUM) on the bottom of the mouse. Then you will have to "Rebind" 1-12 (Probably already have done this though) Next what i did, because 1-6 is really easy to reach, i bound Shift 1-6, then CTR 1-6. I kinda had all situational abilities on Shift 1-6, (sft 1 twin saber throw, sft 2 pacify, sft 3 interrupt, sft 4 inspiration, sft 5 transcendence, ect) and Defensive Cool-downs on CTR 1-6 like (ctr 1 = Guarded, ctr 2 rebuke, ctrl 3 med pack, ctr 4 warzone defense thingy, ctrl 6 is huttball throw) and of course my main rotation abilities are on "single" key binds. Now whats different for me is i use a Gaming pad, Belkin n52te,( not the best for mmos if you have a lot of abilities) but im soo used to it so i cant switch back to the keyboard. so i don't use "1-6" on the regular keyboard.
  9. Dont be afraid of that, as a sent you have Saber Ward, Rebuke, Force Camo, and Guarded by the Force!
  10. I have a 50 Guardian and a 50 Sent... and to be honest i love them BOTH, equally. haha, not much help i know... But the sent i play combat, which is a lot of fun, its a lot better than Vegenlence. a combat sent has Fast Trancendece to get you team moving from One node to the next when needed to defend or help a teammate, you have a bunch of Roots to stop ppl from moving on the the next room on voidstar, not to mention you can drop a healer pretty quick if its just the two of you. Just tons of ultility for your team. In my opinion, the only thing im missing while playing sent vs my guardian is taunting. Skill needed to play a good Combat/Watchmen Sentinel: Medium to High. My Guardian, however, i play as Focus. A focus Guardian seems to just Flow better then a focus Sentinel. Skill needed to play a good smash Guardian : Low to Medium So i guess, just look at your play style and and pick I have 6 50's and my Guardian and Sentinel will be the first to level 55. Hope this helps.
  11. I never really had a chance to get on the PTS and play with the new Combat tree. I've herd from other people that Combat is "broken" and that it needed to be fixed, so idk if/and/or/what was broken, or if it was fixed, so can some one fill me in on the update, i also went and set up a build but idk how good it is untill and can actually try it, has anyone else come up with some nice build for Combat? post them up here! http://pts.swtor-spy.com/skill-tree-calculator/sentinel/233/?build=002300000000000000000000000000000320322021201222012202300320010001000000000000000000000000000000&ver=20
  12. Not to 1 up you all but i leveld my shawdow from 29-50, got up to 43 questing and pvp, then 43-50 once i found out about ilum in about 3.5 hours, then in jumped on my sentinel, went to ilum, 38-43 in 2 hours and 10 mins.
