  1. I am really getting annoyed. I have better things to do then watch people QQ'ing like moaning little girls. And everything I say goes on deaf ears. I will say this for the last time. Stop people abusing auto-disconnect by auto-running and the queues will fall. Players are doing this. People are ruining this game for everyone. Can you imagine how many people will be doing this? And you are shocked that the queues are so big? Come on for crying out loud. The solution is so simple, yet the majority of you cannot wrap your tiny brains around a simple concept. Stop people who are not at their keyboard auto-running and beating the auto-dc and your problems will vanish as quick as they started. Simple.
  2. The first sensible post I have seen for a while on this forum. Finally someone with a brain. I completely agree. You can all scream and shot and QQ all you like. But listen and listen good IT IS NOT BIOWARE'S FAULT, IT'S PLAYERS CLOGGING UP THE SERVERS, IT'S PLAYER'S GOING TO WORK AND NOT GETTING DISCONNCTED, IT'S PEOPLE RUINING THE GAME FOR US ALL.
  3. Stop people bypassing or abusing the auto-disconnect and you'll see a massive difference.
  4. It's not bioware's fault. It's people auto-running to escape auto-disconnections that is the problem. I have seen it and I am sure other's have seen it to. Think about it, 50 players auto-running and not getting disconnected that means 50 people cannot login until someone else disconnects. Now, assume a server have 5000 spots and 1000 people are auto-running to escape disconnections that's now 4000 spots available and people wonder why the queues are so bad? People go to work and leave the game running and auto-run and never get disconnected. Now you see the problem.
  5. The queues are a big problem but there is a much more complicated reason on why the queue's are so big. I have seen loads of people auto-running against a wall or a tree and most of them choose corners or places that people cannot see, they do this to avoid the auto-disconnect function in SWTOR. Queues go down so slowly because more and more people are doing this. In my opinion even though this is not a genuine bug, it's something players are abusing and more and more and more people doing this means longer in the queue because they are simply not being disconnected. I think Bioware needs to look into this and any person doing this to beat the system should be punished severely and almost certainly they need to look at the disconnect function and change it to physical actions, like talking or doing a command rather than just walking. Obviously they will have to make there own minds about this, a possible suggestion is if a player does nothing, as in talk, kill or interact with anything in the game after 10-20 mins, they should get booted. I know this will probably get some backlash, but there is no other way I can think of, to stop people abusing the system, people are getting annoyed at the queue's but they should not be mad at bioware. They should be mad at idiots trying to beat the system. I am also certain many other players will have seen someone auto-running to beat the system.
  6. Well. This is not fun anymore. The queue's are kinda big and there is no sign of this stopping. Also, people are effectively bypassing being logged out, so the time in the queue is bigger compared to the amount of people queued. I tried logging in and there was 109 people in the queue and the queue moved damn slow. People are auto-running to bypass the auto disconnect so in all honesty I class this as bug abuse. Yes I know, it's not a bug. But it is making people's lives miserable with insane login queue times. Something needs to be done.
  7. Entered my pre-order code on 28th of November 2011, any chance i'll get in for tomorrow? Or will it most likely be Friday?
  8. AMD Phenom (X6) 1090 T CPU running at 3.1 Ghz 6GB of Ram running at 1,600 mhz Nvidia 460 (1gb) Windows 7 64 In the beta I had all graphic settings to max and I didn't have a problem. I will be most upset if when I get my early access tomorrow or friday I find out I cannot play. I wouldn't say my PC is exactly top spec but I can run World of Warcraft and EvE online with ultra graphics. When I was in the beta, I noticed people were complaining about graphics. So I know for a fact it's down to either Graphic Drivers, Crap Graphics Card and too low memory could all cause low FPS and even screen tearing. Most think they will be fine to run SWTOR but in actual fact, their system might just be incapable of running it with high settings.
  9. Rustane said - You sad people are the 1% Is he an idiot or just plain stupid. I would say the fans who are unhappy with the way Early Access is panning out is close to 60% or even more. I see more threads/posts of people complaining rather than praising the Early Access right now.
  10. I have my CE for a few days now. Got it on Friday the 9th. Waiting patiently for the Early Access. Problem is, I redeemed on the 28th of November, so I am guessing I will have to wait until Friday or the weekend. I know people are saying "Stop crying" ect at the latent Early Access sadness. But unfortunately I am the same. Why reward the early orders? I mean... I pre-ordered as soon as I played the beta. You are not going to really buy something at a shop if you have no knowledge of something. So I am a little disappointed. I paid £130 for the CE and I prob won't get Early Access until the weekend. For me, they should have giving some Early pre-orders access and some later ones to keep things fair. I am not interested in people who say "Stop whining blah blah" because infact, they are the ones moaning about people moaning and I find it highly humorous.
