  1. Nah I cant say im excited about this... The trailer is very pretty but the story being about Vaylin somehow becoming God and Senya being super powerful just doesnt make sense to me. This exp should have been about Valkorian finally revealing his master plan and retaking the throne and The Outlander / Alliance finally stopping the most powerful being in the galaxy once and for all... and then suddenly and new threat arises much more powerful than anyone ever imagined.... Now Valkorian and the alliance team up to take down Zildrog... dun dun dun... Haha.. anyway Im tired of Family Fued: Star Wars edition.
  2. Wow thank you all so much! i really appreciate you guys taking the time to answer my questions. I was actually expecting to get trolled for being such a noob lol.. I submitted a ticket to customer service to look into my missing credits and companion and im just waiting for a response from them. (btw, they arent showing up on my companion menu or my crafting menu. they are completely gone) I feel much better and less frustrated now! Thanks again!
  3. Hello Everyone, I have just resubscribed to SWToR today after about 1.5 years away from the game. So much has changes and I am completely lost and I dont know where to begin.. But there are a few major issues i want to figure out and I'm hoping someone can help me. As im cycling through all of my alts, the first thing i noticed is all of my character bags are full with random gear and I have a ton of mail from "Character has been Deleted" with a bunch of random stuff. Whats the deal with that? what is going on with all the random armor on literally every character? The next thing I noticed is, all my characters have about 30K credits each.. but I remember having millions on every single one of my characters. So... what the heck happened to all of my credits?? Im 100% Positive i had millions of credits... and now i have barely any. The third thing thats been bugging me is.. where the heck did my HK-51 and Treek go?? I had them on all my characters and now they are completely gone without a trace. Does anyone know what happened here? why did I lose my two favorite Companions and how do i get them back?? The 4th thing i noticed is.. almost all of my crafting mats are gone.. i have my vaults full of every tier of every craft before i left the game.. now i have less than 50% of the stuff in my vaults.. why did so many of my mats dissappear without a trace?? The Last thing I have a question about is Trait trees.. what the hell happened to my builds? I have no idea what that mess is that is currently in game, I could figure out what I need to do to get my builds back. This one maybe I need to sit down for a few hours and figure out by myself.. but im completely overwhelmed right now and would appreciate any help at all. I actually just cancelled my recurring sub about 10 minutes ago because i was so frustrated.. but if anyone can help me get a better understanding of all of this i may end up resubbing again after these 30 days are up. ty all!
  4. Im not a Necro..... ... Im just a very slow typer
  5. Scenario 1: Very difficult Operation, that NEEDS people to have a certain gear level to be able to complete it. This is okay, and I don't consider it snobby. (although most Ops have plenty of wiggle room. There aren't many examples currently in game that REQUIRE full 180-186 gear) Scenario 2: Moderately difficult Operation that recommends mid to high end gear. Most ops groups nowadays decide that you are not worthy to be in the same group as them unless you have full 180 gear, despite the fact that the operation does not even need top gear to complete. <= THIS is what i consider to be a gear snob. They'll often defend themselves with sayings like "I put in the time to get this gear, so can they", or "I don't want to carry Noobs" (yes most of them believe gear is what makes the player good or bad, and not skill and a brain)... Or my personal Favorite "People who don't have full 180 by now are just lazy"... lol... Who is more lazy? the People caught in a Catch-22, who try to get into Operations in order to GET Top end gear, but cant because most groups require you to ALREADY have that gear just to run the Operation in the first place..? Or the Gear Snobs that just want to face-roll through Ops and have no interest whatsoever in any kind of challenge? And don't forget these groups Not only require top geared players, they also need you to already know the fights. Because they are too lazy to explain anything. How much energy does it take for an Ops Leader to say "DPS boss until the mobs appear on the Balcony, kill them, then back on the boss". Or "when this boss initiates attack sequence 5 hide behind a rock"... This stuff is common knowledge to anyone who runs Ops regularly. But a New Person needs to be told these things, and honestly how hard is it to tell them? Takes a few seconds even if you have to type it. Not wanting to do this is just lazy. Conclusion: This game is the worst I have ever experienced in regards to the amount of Gear Snobs. They only want you in their group if you have Better gear than the Operation even rewards. Illogical? yes... but maybe there is reason in there... Maybe they only want Top End Geared players so that they can have a better chance of winning Rolls. A player who already has best in slot gear probably wont roll on anything that someone else can use. ( a respectable player, anyway). So maybe this Snob thing is all part of a plan. Or maybe they are just those types of people that love feeling like they are better than others. Either way, Gear Snobs take the fun out of any game they touch. Its best to avoid them if you want this game to continue feeling like a game, and not have it feel like a job. ~Fin
  6. I just wanted to say that this post is so friggin funny! I litterally spit my drink out when i read this. lol This is what I do every time i queue on my Gunslinger... just think about life for hours with no pops.. lol
  7. I am leveling a Commando Healer mostly Through PVP. I plan on him being 90% pvp, 10% pve. The ONE thing I want most to change about my healer Commando, Is the Hammer Shot *kill me now* Green Beam of Death! For the Love of Palpatine, why oh why would you do that to us? What is the purpose of giving us A Bright Green, Unbroken Beam of light, that so easily tells the enemy EXACTLY where the healer is? Its not like we are that mobile. Unless there is a second healer on the team that helps you out, shoot that beam once, and you're as good as dead. My Suggestion: Please change that silly animation for Hammer Shot Heals and make it something more subtle. Small short bolts like the BH? Med Probes from the sky like Scoundrel? Or maybe something completely different but still subtle. Please and thank you.
  8. The one i hate most is that One on Ord Mantel where the you have to either give the Medicine to a room full of Republic Troopers (heroes)... or one sick kid... and the LS choice is choosing the stupid kid.. i hated that.
  9. Leave Jaxo alone! Just because she's slept with almost every trooper in the Galaxy, doesn't mean she's a bad person! I would argue more points But i have to go get tested.... shame on you.
  10. Good Thread. I've always wondered about this myself. The way I've always understood the Rule of two is... Strong Master teaches an apprentice, until that apprentice becomes stronger than the master, and kills him. Then that Former apprentice is now the Master , who is stronger than the previous master. He now takes on an apprentice of his own. Who eventually becomes stronger than HIS master, and so on. So If this trend continues.. then the Sith that are from 100 generations into the Rule of Two should be Godlike... (Palpatine). But every now and then i hear things like; yes you're strong, but compared to the powerful Sith of ancient times you are nothing. Or something Khem would say... Little Sith thinks he is strong but my master Tulok Hord can take 100 of you with his eyes closed. Or something dumb like that. I never really could figure out who is stronger. The future generation Sith or the Sith of ancient times.
  11. Lol... Yea ... It's pretty fair with the bolster.... Everyone has roughly the same stats.... Sure the 54s have more skills but that doesn't make it game breaking. I have beaten so many 50-54s on my pre 40s toons... As I'm sure lots of us have... So yea it's petty fair..... Nice troll attempt tho.
  12. This is annoying yes.. but im gonna have to say that because this is on a PvP server.. it isn't harassment / griefing. Back in the old days of SWTOR there was this one particular Imp guild that was notorious for Griefing.... They would hang out in groups on cross faction planets like Illum, all flagged for PvP... and just follow Pubs around all day that are just trying to do their dailies... These Imps would follow the Pubs and just wait for them to use an AoE... They would then Jump right into the AoE in order to flag you for PvP... then all 10 of them would jump you over and over. This is what i would consider griefing.
  13. Yuck.. Gear Based PVP makes me want to punch Kittens. PvP levels 10-54 so much more fun.
  14. Last Man Standing (royal rumble) This idea came to me when i Realized how much fun that Grand Champion of the Great Hunt mission is for the Bounty Hunter. I think it would make for a fun PVP warzone. My Idea is as follows. The warzone would be an every man for himself type of thing. Last man standing wins! Anywhere from 4 to 16 people can be in this warzone. (you wont need to wait very long for a pop) This could be a mixed Faction type of thing.. it could be any combination of Pub and Imp. The Arena would need to like a small closed in Area.. like an Octagon from UFC... (stealthers cant hide forever) Or maybe a larger area with lots of hazards and stealth detectors. Everyone is everyone else's enemy while in this WZ... even if you queue as a pre-made. There could be special achievements in this WZ, like If you manage to get the KB on all other players. Last man standing Wins the Warzone! What do you guys think?
  15. If only 55 PVP was Skill-based PVP, instead of Gear-based PVP... That would truly create a competitive environment in a level playing field, where only the best players were on top, and not just the best geared players. It works for the other 44 levels of pvp, why mess with a good thing at lvl 55. To all the nay sayers, Ill accept your arguments only if you can confidently say that you "NEED better gear in order to beat the other guy... because you lack to skill to beat him in a fair fight."
