  1. My gawd, these forums are indispensable sometimes. I thought I my problem was sleep deprivation and I wasn't interrupting quick enough. Personally I find these harder bosses / mobs that are thrown in (like Atiss Station) to be a real mental challenge and some thing that makes you stop and think. Albeit I have often wanted to throw something rather largeish at the screen in pure rage / frustration. I just wish you could have a moddable necklace where you could take 'trinkets' from these type of elites and wear them with pride. As for this one I can hardly wait to get back now and slay this beastie. Hmm, how bout it Dev's? - Moddable necklace, slots can only be filled with 'trophy's from special elites.
  2. I may be wrong but I think the OP is referring to 'data usage' as in how much does it suck through the internet. Don't know personally - sorry.
  3. Sorry should have explained better: - You can get Orange Schematics from Crew skill missions such as Underworld Trading, Treasure Hunting, Diplomacy, Investigation, and Slicing when the mission is returned with a "Critical success". This will be reflected in the statement when you crew member returns as well as the schematic in the items. "Critical Success" is a 'luck of the roll' and by that I mean it is random, I've found that you can increase your chance by using a crew member that has increased skill in that area (e.g. crew member has +5 Critical - Investigation, send him/her on Investigation missions) and has a decent amount of affection. Also you'll want to run the missions that state; "Bountiful" or "Rich" in returns as again this have the higher chance. Ironic as it is I've also found that the crafting skill most suited to your player (e.g. Artifice / Synthweaving for say a Jedi), their crew skills don't correspond well to the gathering skills. On my BH with Armstech it took ages before I got a schematic, where my Commando with Armormech it seems every other mission I'm getting a schematic (albeit the same ones over and over). Bottom line is - there is no easy way to get them from gathering missions nor a way to guarantee that you will. The only way to do that is buy it from the GTN.
  4. Usually from 'missions' from gathering skills, (e.g. Underworld Trading). Or if your rich you can buy them off the GTN.
  5. Same here - haven't read all 50 pages but here goes. Started rolling a sniper and was shortly after picking up Kaliyo (pretty sure it was after we arrived on Drumond Kaas. And I was just running through DK on my way to the Cantina; K: Hey ugly, I'll give you 20 credits if you lick my toes...... K: Psst, spot me twenty credits, I think I can get him to do it.... Caught me so off-guard I just about spit my drink all over the screen and keyboard. coughed and choked for a good 15 mins....
  6. Geez, would be great if we could roll our own guild and show these young-whippersnappers wassup.... 54 on Sunday (20 May) - ex-soldier - IT Manager for an emergency aero-medical company. It's hilarious when my 11 year old whom I roll with tells his buddies that his "dad games", Hells, and I thought I was 'special' cause I was old.
  7. OMG...!!! your mother must have been my mother's long lost sister..... Seriously though - agree with some of it, also agree that a guild can make a huge difference, however when you're in a more narrowed TZ and a region south of the equator even a guild can't help you sometimes, I find that when I get on the majority of the guild is going ni-nies. Would be great to see other options and as other people have pointed out if you do the random LFG thing your bound to get hit by the "spacebar, spacebar, press spacebar your useless @%@%@...."
  8. What..?!?!?! Seriously what does that have to do with resubs?
