Yeah, free app ... but first I must buy phone for 1000$ =))) LOL! What else, maybe I must buy castle in Ireland to play this game? It's absolutely possible to hack your account even if you have security key. If someone wants to hack you, he do it in any way, be sure! And I don't want additional haemorrhoids with such "keys". I know a lot of people who have real problems with accounts just because they accept the security key: lost, broken, changed phone ... etc.. And you do nothing for the game when you buy this key or setup app to your phone! If you want to buy it - buy it. It's your problem! But ingame items for security key owners are too unfair for other players!!!
What's next, collectors edition items only for collectors edition owners is too unfair for other players? Besides, you can also buy a physical security key, which is cheap, and in any case, any problems with a security key can be solved in under five minutes with a single phone call.

The event is over. The plague will be dead soon.
So your idea is now obsolete.
The reason I'm posting this is because about half of all players in warzones still have the plague, and it doesn't look like it'll stop being that way anytime in the near future.

Out of a pvp point of view:
Please make the vaccine last through death. I'm starting to get annoyed by having infections break my stealth during pvp. Basicly, you enter the warzone while vaccinated, you die once. Then, in combat, you kill someone and get infected. You die again, you stay infected... You're sneaking up on someone, bam, infection breaks your stealth.
This is the solution: Either make the vaccine last through death, or do not make the infection last through death.

I played EVE for years, and loved this downtime schedule. An hour is no sweat. I've been browsing these forums for an hour. If this were EVE, I'd almost be ready to log back in by now.
4 hours is dumb.
And defending a 4 hour downtime by citing all the other games that have 4 hour downtimes only shows that all those other games' downtimes are also dumb.
I'll save everyone the trouble, I've been playing MMO's for 15 years and HAVE learned to deal with it. But they're still dumb.
No, me saying that doesn't accomplish anything, but it sure makes me feel better.
Comparing MMORPG maintenance times with classic multiple-server infrastructure setups to EVE's maintenance with their setup is nearly impossible. EVE uses an entirely different setup which is much simpler in some ways.

On my server, imps and reps were nervously, peacefully standing around the pvp vendor, several random players pvp tagged (PvE server). Until someone decided to shoot at someone. Then everyone decided to start shooting at everyone else.

Maintenance is done at that time because most people are asleep at that time.
It's not most people. It's most Americans. Most europeans are up by 9AM... Most Australians are certainly up by 5PM.

Well I tried it with a human and didn't get to use the sith options =(
The human unlock gives +100 presence for all characters.

If I may suggest exploration. And not survey-the-planet-map kind, but try to see what's hidden around that turn, behind that corner... You might get surprised! (or defeated by a heroic world boss)

Except the world event issue with vendor overcharging, all of these could have waited until Tuesday
From my research, HeroEngine (the game engine that SWTOR uses) can be updated without any downtime at all. I don't know what's up anyway.

And I've had 24 hours downtime in the 112 hours of game time that I have had available to play. So 78% uptime for me. Not good at all.Never said I was okay with it. Let's now count it in with my free time instead of 24 hours a day...
Let's pin free time on 5 hours a day average. It means I only had 80% server availability (theoretically)

For me anyway it's not the downtime (maintenance is needed i know) it is the fact that almost everytime they add any patch (not just an update, but a small patch) they screw the job up and close down 2 or 3 days later to fix it.
That is my complaint, rank amateurs they are making themselves look imo.

For those that are curious, I have had 28 hours of downtime since I joined on 24 march 2012. That is out of 672 hours being signed up (both numbers including today). It means there was 95,833 % of uptime since I joined. Not bad at all.

Looks like that because of the new forum colours.I personally think it's more of a periwinkle color than pink.
