Bugged and rewards are meh.
Woopie do, grind the same quest over and over, so immersive voice acting oh my god I feel so heroic.
Biochem or bust it seems, for their reusable consumables, no point crafting armors and whatnot.
by the time I got enough centurion commendations for one piece of centurion gear, I had all Champion pieces except gloves, eventually the same will happen with battlemaster.

I guess its either grind valor rank so I can RNG some battlemaster gear, and grind operations in the meantime.

These types of discussions go on for all mmo's. The truth is that for any mmo there really isn't an end game. Do warzones or do Fp's. The end.
The real reason I posted this is because I was curious if I'm just burnt out of MMO's. Maybe I am.

Yea I know how ya feel, been 50 for a month and done the flashpoints hard mode repeatedly and the ops repeatedly until it's no longer entertaining or needing items.
there's just no randomness or camps to relax at.
That's what I enjoyed about dark age of camelot, the mob camps, you could chill out at a camp or enjoy a few of the random encounters that roamed the GIGANTIC zones.
doing dailies in swtor saving that same guy every single day is annoying... and makes no sense you'd think after saving him once you wouldn't have to save him every single day.
hehe, dailies suck.
but boredom... I agree, the themepark was fun but I think it's about time to step off the ride.
It just sucks because I really enjoy the idea of this game! Just a huge disappointment I guess.
Good thing GW2 pre-order gets you into beta starting April 10th

Bored... Just bored.
I've been 50 for 2 days and have most centurion gear and some champion gear, and I'm already super bored. All I do in between queues is jump around the fleet, literally, I jump.
I have an honest question. Please fanboys and trolls try and refrain from your normal practices... At this point, is BW capable or even willing to add any immersion? 3 WZ's just aren't cutting it for me.

Wow 100k...don't hurt your arm patting yourself on the back. As far as balance...currently the game is balanced. After the nerfs is when the game will unbalance. Currently a well played marader or sent can solo most healers in the game if the healers do not get help. 2 DPS can stomp you into a mud hole. After the patch it is going to be much much worse. I don't want to be respawning every 30 seconds in warzones...sorry to me that isn't fun. I am glad you are looking forward to that.

To the poster complaining about sandbox games having no numbers: you've got to be a fool to think the only reason said games aren't successful is because they are sandbox.

The current counselor PvP gear looks amazing. I absolutely love it. The centurion colors.
New gear looks 100% terrible. Is it really going to cost that much to take out mods?

I really don't think anybody with common sense cares about this argument anymore.
I don't browse WoW forums but if they are still having this debate it's because they are insecure and too big of a fanboy to want WoW to fail.
Personally I logged into my free level 80 last night to realize there's no point; the game has NO immersion or community. Raid? What's the point, haha. I killed deathwing in a pug 6 months ago in PvP blues, and that's the top tier boss for what, another 8 months or so? Right, lots to do there...
It seems as if more adults play this game and don't feel it necessary to run around being fanboys flexing their e-peen any chance they get.

Been part of a guild to me is about making friends who enjoy playing the same game as me. A guild shouldnt need features for people to be in a guild. the lore should be the people, not the systems. But I guess thats what WoW has done to this generation of so-called mmo gamers.
The problem is there are no incentives in this game.
Achievements add immersion, and bring competition. What's the point in world PvP when you get literally no bonus from it? For 95% of the player base, that's a common issue. Same thing goes for guilds. Guild features can do many things, add to the guild community, for example.
Without any group mini games, what else can a guild do together? 4 man PvP? You can't even have full guild PvP groups.
Saying that the WoW generation demands too much only makes you look like an ignorant fool. If you can't see that's the direction this game was headed from the start you're blind. I love the game and I personally don't mind the direction it's going. Why not take aspects of the leading MMO and improve on them? Your attitude belongs in the 18th century.

I dont care either way if there will be AC respecs....
but it would be nice to have a grace period when you choose initailly....say 24 hours to change your mind....be fair in my mind.
rofl, it's not like it's hard to do some investigation and figure out what you're AC will consist of...

I just got my second 50. My first a Jedi Shadow. My second a Jedi Sage. If BioWare implements AC changes, I'll 100% quit. Which, you know, they won't, because they said they won't.

Back when I got to Battlemaster you'd only get around 500 to 800 Valor per warzone. It meant you had to put a lot of time and effort to get to your Valor Rank to 60. You really had to do hundreds and hundreds of warzones, but when you got there, you at least felt a sense of accomplishment.
Now it seems with the current patch that you get around 3000 valor per warzone. So it's about FIVE TIMES EASIER to get Valor ranks.
It reminds me of Vanilla WoW, when everything took a decent amount of time and effort and you felt a sense of accomplishment when you achieved a goal. Nowadays, WoW can be played blind-folded while spamming two keys on the keyboard. Over the years they just made it easier and easier and the sense of accomplishment achieving any goals just faded away.
It seems after only 3 months, TOR is following this pattern, making things easier and easier just to stop people whining about how "hard" it is achieving goals in the game.
I hope, for Bioware's sake, (and for people who don't want everything reduced to a "super-easy level") that the devs rethink this path...

I love how they get so excited about what's coming in 1.2. In my mind all I can think is "you mean the stuff that should have been released at launch?!"

However, I hate to be the guy that says this but, isn't it obvious that this game is extremely linear and you can probably not expect any sandbox elements? They've even said they don't intend on implementing many sandbox options..
I do love immersion, though!

This was mentioned at the guild summit. The developers deem it as unnecessary since there aren't enough skills to fill the bar.
I suggest binding you 3 key attack to some combination that is used less frequently such as CTRL + 3. That way it is bound, but it's a combo used as infrequently as you use it.

Ummmmmm.... Ok... Stupidest crap I've heard. I have a stupid amount of keybindings on my shadow with all the damn abilities.. They serious??? They have a cover bar, why is it so hard to implement a stealth bar???

I always just kind of accepted the look of the Republic armors, some really aren't so bad. However, I play a shadow atm, still leveling through my 40's, and thought I might grab the 40 pvp set. The set has..um..paisley accents - again paisley. For those who don't know what paisley is, well, lucky you.
Lowbie PvP gear isn't worth the commendations. Turn them into merc coms so you can be merc and wz com capped as soon as you get 50.
