  1. What caused you to stop loving the game? Besides Ilum being removed(Ilum was a broken design anyways) we've only had content added to the game.

Don't really want to go off-topic, but I don't consider a dungeon finder or ranked warzones to be the kind of substantial content that me and many others are waiting for. This game also has some big flaws (imo atleast) that I have overlooked up to this point, but the lack of content has just made me lose patience. I'll come back if there's some major improvements, which I hope is soon.

  2. /facepalm

Travel is part of what makes an MMO an MMO. GW2 is no MMO. Maybe SWTOR isn't your type of game. I personally think it's an asset that different games are......................you know, different.

Have you been playing since beta? I have so that really gives you no right to say this isn't my type of game... and who brainwashed you to think GW2 isn't an MMO? It's actually a pretty great one.

Maybe you should read my post again because nowhere did I say travel was bad. It's the way ToR does it that is bad. In fact, as far as world design goes, I've never seen an MMO that was so linear (like the post below mine pointed out) so I think that makes it less of an MMO than GW2. When you're not sitting in loading screens it's fly to where you want to go, fight mobs of enemies through corridor after corridor, then it's back to running to your ship, rinse and repeat. If this is your first MMO I can tell you very few are that repetitive.

And then to make things worse the mission objectives in this game is so blatantly similar and predictable.

  3. It's stupid. In Guild Wars 2 you get to pay a fee to transport to any of the waypoints you unlocked and there's no interruption to enjoying the game's content. So refreshing compared to the tedious travel of going down the same boring paths in ToR.
  4. Man I am tired of seeing these threads about sitting. You would think with all the things bioware has in its lap, sitting would be one of the last items on the list. As a matter of fact, I hope they put chairs on the ceilings just to make you guys rage.

LMAO. They think not being able to properly sit is bad, my characters haven't taken a piss in months.

  5. I hate to say that people deserve this since ultimately Bioware is at fault, but this is what happens when sheep follow the flock to a server like Fatman. By leaving the server that you had to wait what was perhaps such an unbearable 10 minute wait for a warzone at one point, the problem snowballed until you and eventually others contributed to making the wait much longer for others. Now, the people that were patient enough or smart enough to avoid any potential problems don't have to go through this kind of hassle.
  6. It's one thing to be patient if it's your first week or two of playing this game, or if your server only recently started having problems, but honestly my server has been dying for the past 2-3 months. Sure, there were a bunch of level 50s sticking around at that time, but even back then it was hard to find a full group to do a flashpoint if you were anything under level 50.
  7. Server transfers have GOT to happen soon.

I can't imagine that any modern MMO developer would be dumb enough to make a game without the ability to do this in the first place.

I have never played a post-WoW MMO at launch that didn't explode in population and then experience a die-off. It should be planned for.

I can't even really PvP on my server anymore. at 8pm there are fewer than 30 people on the Fleet. You end up just playing the exact same team from the other side every single day, often after waiting in queue for over 30 minutes.

Same situation as me. Bunch of people on the other side usually have complete war hero gear too.

Bioware would be dumb to not do anything real soon. They can pretend to be happy about whatever number of subscriptions they have but there's no way this game can grow if most of them are on just a couple servers.
