Don't really want to go off-topic, but I don't consider a dungeon finder or ranked warzones to be the kind of substantial content that me and many others are waiting for. This game also has some big flaws (imo atleast) that I have overlooked up to this point, but the lack of content has just made me lose patience. I'll come back if there's some major improvements, which I hope is soon.

I used to love this game, and there's still some potential for it to bring me back after my sub runs out, but I guess I was dumb to think that EA would be anything but a bad thing for this game.

Have you been playing since beta? I have so that really gives you no right to say this isn't my type of game... and who brainwashed you to think GW2 isn't an MMO? It's actually a pretty great one. Maybe you should read my post again because nowhere did I say travel was bad. It's the way ToR does it that is bad. In fact, as far as world design goes, I've never seen an MMO that was so linear (like the post below mine pointed out) so I think that makes it less of an MMO than GW2. When you're not sitting in loading screens it's fly to where you want to go, fight mobs of enemies through corridor after corridor, then it's back to running to your ship, rinse and repeat. If this is your first MMO I can tell you very few are that repetitive. And then to make things worse the mission objectives in this game is so blatantly similar and predictable.

It's stupid. In Guild Wars 2 you get to pay a fee to transport to any of the waypoints you unlocked and there's no interruption to enjoying the game's content. So refreshing compared to the tedious travel of going down the same boring paths in ToR.

This. I think people forget that it's an auction house, and not a retail store where prices are set.

I do. Right now I'm using my Smuggler and would really like to see Bowdaar decked out in some bad@ss wookiee combat armor, but nothing I put on him makes him look different.

This looks bookmark worthy. I thought about upgrading my PC when this game first came out, I guess its fitting that I'm again thinking about it now that there's 300 people on Fleet and my game is lagging more frequently.

How long is character transfer supposed to take? I've been waiting atleast 5 minutes for one of my characters and it still says "Waiting to transfer"

I hate to say that people deserve this since ultimately Bioware is at fault, but this is what happens when sheep follow the flock to a server like Fatman. By leaving the server that you had to wait what was perhaps such an unbearable 10 minute wait for a warzone at one point, the problem snowballed until you and eventually others contributed to making the wait much longer for others. Now, the people that were patient enough or smart enough to avoid any potential problems don't have to go through this kind of hassle.

All I know is they better give more game time otherwise I might unsub anyway.

I've had 2 guilds that died and now the one I'm in is pretty much the last hope of the Republic side. Like 90% of the server is in it.

But when I finally did to play a Warzone I find that I'm the only one on the Republic Fleet. Damn! if only I stayed in all Friday night to play ToR

My sub doesn't run out til sometime in July, but honestly I don't even know if I will renew then. If it's taken them this long to fix population issues then I'm beginning to doubt they can make any kind of real improvements in a timely manner.

Why do people even talk about paying for a transfer as an option? Are people that desperate for Bioware to take action or is there actually some kind of rumor? There's no way we should have to pay for it.

I've been waiting for a lvl 50 warzone pop for almost an hour now. Things were bad before, but now that Diablo 3 is out, this is just a joke.

It's one thing to be patient if it's your first week or two of playing this game, or if your server only recently started having problems, but honestly my server has been dying for the past 2-3 months. Sure, there were a bunch of level 50s sticking around at that time, but even back then it was hard to find a full group to do a flashpoint if you were anything under level 50.

Same situation as me. Bunch of people on the other side usually have complete war hero gear too. Bioware would be dumb to not do anything real soon. They can pretend to be happy about whatever number of subscriptions they have but there's no way this game can grow if most of them are on just a couple servers.

I never see more than 30. Tends to be somewhere between 10-25.
