  1. "Supercrits is on auto-crits, because ALL of the crit chance is applied to crit damage. They changed crit away from the surge stat, and rolled it together with crit chance. Now, crit chance increases crit damage, with crit chance over 100 percent contributing fully to crit damage. With assassins, you only really see this heavily come into play with a procced shock crit (darkness) with recklessness up, which does nearly double the damage of a regular crit. If you continue to build crit chance though, you will see the effect more and more during recklessness.
  2. One hardmode and you think your gear is at a place to even complain about threat? Your dps probably were just lightyears ahead of you gear-wise. Make sure to put guard on your highest threat dps too, does wonders.
  3. I want to jettison my droid out the nearest airlock personally. At least with ashara if you don't like her you can keep her on missions and pretend she doesn't exist. My droid somehow thinks talking to me EVERY TIME I WALK BY will make me NOT want to kill him. My toon is LS, I'd spend 200 dark side points just to murder that annoying POS.
  4. Khem isn't a romance option for females so don't worry lol. Though he SHOULD be for males after chapter one!!!
  5. Heh.. I've got her almost maxed, but I used her exclusively from the moment I got her, gave her a bunch of gifts (she has no likes or faves or loves much to my chagrin), and went through convos multiple times to not miss any +affections for her. Definitely broken... she should have at least one fave gift type if ur toon is a female.
  6. I disagree. You could easily say that the very definition of light and dark side choices is pragmatism.
  7. The fallacy here is that the empire is a dark side entity and any form of light side choices/etc. is complete and total subversion. It isn't. Jaesa does not think you are an enemy of the empire. The light side choices you are given are generally about rational thought or compassion. Dark side is all about blind hatred and killing everything you can. Something to be said for each, but if you DO pick light side choices or even just HALF lightside choices it could be said you are trying to reform the empire. Light side teaching is all about reason winning over passion, so to use the example given by a previous poster, keeping the slicer dude alive is the RATIONAL thing to do. Killing him is giving into the passion/rage/whatever. Another angle to look at is the developers have to bake every decision you make down into a completely black-and-white morality structure, which will clearly be lacking. If it really bothers you that much you can convince yourself that your character is just lying to her to keep her in line. Jaesa's storyline is 100,000% better than the travesty of how they did Ashara. AND she spouts jedi teaching all the damned time even if your sith is 100 percent dark side. I swear if I didn't have a fixation on her lips I'd stable her and never use her again.
  8. What the heck... I don't even know what to make of this... Assassins can't use their regular stealth during combat. Sins don't need force camo, it is a threat dump and survival tool, quite handy if used properly.
  9. Here's the thing: warriors are not inquisitors, and vice versa. Stop trying to compare the two; they are fundamentally different classes. 2 seconds of sprint every 30 seconds is really pissing you off so bad? roll an inq. The two main classes I play are assassin(tank) and marauder(annihilation), I have never felt cheated on one or the other. As far as "half the abilities being usable at 30 m" that is bull, the bulk of sin abilities are 10m or less range. Sorcs are a ranged class so leave that argument at the door. Assassins really DO need force speed, especially tanks. As far as sorcerers go, I have no clue... don't play one and probably never will.
  10. My issue with this is; what happens if something unfortunate happens to my iPhone (it's getting old, I worry about it sometimes). Can you get the app, buy the stuff you want, then unlink your account again? I am very careful with my acct info and stuff, after MMOing for 15 years and never being hacked, so I am not terribly interested in the security part.
