I don't know if this has been pointed out before. I was RE'ing implants last night, specifically the Overkill Nano-optic Resolve implant. I have already discovered the Rampart T-2 prefix however, being a Sorcerer that's less than ideal so I have continued RE'ing the Overkill in hopes of getting something more useful like the Expert T-2 prefix. Apparently it is possible to discover a schematic that you already know giving the message "You have already learned that schematic". I don't know if it's a bug or intended but if it is intended, that's a pretty harsh mechanic on something that takes RE'ing 40+ blues to discover.

I have always had better luck REing stacks. That's not to say that there isn't a chance that you would have gotten the new schematic REing less had you done them one at a time. However, REing a stack of 4+ I have never failed to learn the next schematic whereas there have been plenty of times that I have REed 8-10+ one at a time and not gotten the next level up. That's just my experience.

Yeah I see it now. I guess I was just expecting more emphasis on using one of our hardest hitting abilities on CD, especially with precision slash up. It's kinda mentioned as an afterthought or "do this if you have nothing else to do" ability which made me wonder about the importance of it in the rotation.

Just out of curiosity, does Master Strike have no place in Combat's rotation?
