  1. No it doesn't do that. Only legitimate stealth classes can pull that off. Also, yes marauder is the best. It took you guys long enough to figure it out.
  2. Don't compare GW2 to this game, their closest similarities are their camera angle and ASDW movement. This just in: Free to play business models with micro-transactions are unsuccessful. Jk League of Legends I just spent 500 dollars on skins!
  3. People also should stop thinking that the people "with" the PvP gear didn't do the same thing you're doing. The only thing you can do about it is do get the gear. Once you get the gear, you truly find out who's better or worse. It's not like PvP gear doesn't have a cap too. You will catch up. Really fast.
  4. Gear is a necessity because different class specs value different stats in many different cases. I love number crunching to change my playstyle based on a new spec or if I'd like to see more crits or more of something else. The game needs gear as a necessary evil but, there's some good in it too.
  5. PvP gear progression is legitimate when a free starter set exists.(With expertise) I can honestly PvP fine and can deal with slight advantages in gear but, the game is 100% worse when people in endgame PvE gear want to do my PvP and think they deserve to win because they have that gear.
  6. Your idea is great but in my opinion, Healing, Damage, and Tanking are just the 3 PvP main archetypes. With those 3, all healers should be as equally potent at their job as another aswell as everyone who can do damage and tanking. If those 3 outputs are equivalent at their selective roles all that's left is Utility. Utility serves as the determining factor as to stuns, CC, mobility, stealth, defensive cooldowns, offensive burst cooldowns etc. Utility is what makes classes different and is what would be the only thing tuned in a perfect world. This is just what I think. But beyond all of that, the dev's need a setting in which to balance all of that (3v3,10v10,1v1). That has yet to be determined.
  7. Like the title says. I would really like to know, in it's entirety what balance is to the community. I'd appreciate my responses to be well thought out aswell. Please refrain from posting things such as "Nerf Ops!" "Nerf Sorc!". I know such a discussion will lead to chaos and massive disagreement but, please attempt to keep it civilized.
  8. I'm not crying, I'm simply disgusted by the skillcap of the class and how it could be a much better class without being based on a gimmicky 1 shot.
  9. "Vanilla" the time when balance didn't matter. The time when the MMO was new. The time where WoW clearly didn't care about balance. This is 2012. We're past that and it's quite simple to fix such an issue. When arena came out, that's when they started caring about balance, so before you start listing POM pyro 1 shots I suggest you rethink what year it is.
  10. This is the type of player the dev's will be balancing around in the near future.
  11. That's not even close to true at all, in WoW low tier and high tier rogues have a significant difference in skill levels. I know that for a fact from experience. WoW's rogue class is FAR better designed than operative will ever be. Players like Reckful prove that. Every Operative with full champion gear(almost everyone by now) and the common consumables have the potential to pull off a 1shot regardless if they use their mouse to turn around or click their action bars. Operatives require no positioning skill at all because all they need to do is press a few off GCD consumables and 1 shot someone before they leave the stun while they continue on backpeddling to adjust their opener on their next target. Rogues on WoW only could perform a "1 shot" when every class in the game(Arcane mage/FrostDK/FuryWarrior/Explosiveshothunter/SealofBlood Ret etc.) could perform such a task.(Season 5/6) It's sad but 90% of MMO players click/keyboard turn or do something that is detrimental to reach even decent play and those are the people in this game defending such a class.
  12. Warzone. Medpac. Rakata. Medpac.
  13. The problem I see here is that an operative simply takes no skill. Every clip in that video was just someone getting 1 shot which required as much skill as dpsing Patchwork. Mindless tunnel vision and a simple rotation leading to a 90%~ loss of health to the opposer, with the only true counter to it is a 2minute cooldown that everyone has. BUT OPS ARE BALANCED!
  14. Marauder is fine. http://i.imgur.com/WrKpw.jpg - Fully Geared Battlemaster
  15. Easy Fix: Make battlemaster meaningless by implementing arena.
