  1. ok thanks for the answers, at least its not a bug. Im not loving it feels all wrong for my character to not speak. The fact that the character speaks and how the story was told with these conversations was one of the reasons i play this game.
  2. Hi All, Have they changed the way conversations work? or am i experiencing a bug? I was playing the game as normal last weekend, and everything seemed normal. I then stopped playing on Monday due to not having the time. Then when i have returned to day conversations are working totally different. Now when i get to a conversation it looks and works completely different to before and i really dislike it. Basically this is what happening. When i go to a conversation the top and bottom of the screen fades to 2 almost solid black bars. The top box shows the name of the npc along with the subtitles of what they are saying. The bottom lists the 3 options i can chose to answer with. When i pick one of the options my character does nothing they do not speak and the npc just continues the conversation. Before as you all know the top and bottom did not fade, and when you picked one of your options from the circle menu your character would speak. Am i experiencing a bug (remains even after a restart of the game) or have the changed the conversations to make them like this now? If anyone is interested in where this has happened to me, i am playing the Knights of the Fallen Empire as a Sith Warrior and i have just got to the part where you get your ship back on the planet that both Empire and Republic have setup on. The conversations im am having are for my main objectives.
  3. Found it, was searching again today (my 6th day) on my own. I had asked people in my guild and the planet to help but no one was interested. But once i got within 25m of it i called out again and someone on the planet came to help, we found it within minutes that time. If you are interested, this is where i found it HK-51 Temple Approach
  4. how do you change the instances of the map?
  5. thanks for the tip i will give this a try tomorrow.
  6. Thanks for all your answer, still not found it yet today. Maybe tomorrow will be my day. So far i have been searching like this, leave the exit to the outpost, then going directly to the left. then scan and keep walking to the right then scan again then work back to the left and back to the right. until i reach the temple.
  7. Hi all, i have been trying for 5 days now to get my hands on the last HK part. The one i need is on Dromund Kaas. I was able to get all the other parts rather easily but this last one is just so hard to find, i have spent about 2 hours a day for 5 days looking for it and found nothing. The first day i was looking on my own, the second day i was in a group of 3, the third and fourth day i was with 1 other person, and now today is the fifth day and i have still had no luck. Its so frustrating, once i have HK im planning to start on the KOTFE for the first time. Can anyone provide me with tips. i feel i have checked every inch of the temple approach multipal times. I joined the guild i am currently in to get the help of the members to help me find it, but only a hand full of the members were interested and their was on one on the planet that was interested in helping. its driving me nuts not been able to find this last part.
  8. Thank you all for your answers. I guess i will play the first 2 DLC with one of my existing characters.
  9. Hi all, I have asked a couple questions lately but this should be my last one, for a while anyway. Im on Chapter 3 with my trooper and once thats done i will have completed all 8 class stories. I have already played the Hutt Cartel & Shadow of Revan with my Sith Warrior. So i will still need to play a republic character for those before i start Knights of the Fallen Empire. But i would like to do KOTFE with a new character on both factions. If i buy a level 60 boost will those new characters be able to play Hutt Cartel & Shadow of Revan? or will it be like they have completed them already?
  10. Hi Everyone, Thanks for your answer i know what i wanted to know and avoided any story spoilers
  11. Hi all, Just a quick question or two. I have read that when starting the Kings of the Fallen empire you lose all of your class companions is this true? If so is it also true that you can pick new companions? If you can pick new companions, can you pick from any class companion from either republic or empire? Is their a limit to how many you can have at once? If so what happen if you hit the limit and want to pick a new companion can you swap one out for another? and one final question, i will be playing as a Sith Warrior. How long untill i can get back Vett and Jeasa? Please try to answer without spoiling the story, if its possible.
  12. So if i understand it correctly. Each of the DLC/Expansion stories dont have different stories for each class, aside just some bits of dialog here and their. But they do have a different story for the 2 factions Republic/Empire. Once I have finished off my trooper i will have done all 8 class stories, i have played the Hutt Cartel and Shadow of Revan with my Sith Warrior. So all i will need to do is pick a Republic character and play Hutt Cartel and Shadow of Revan with them, then i will be ready for the Knights of the fallen empire story?
  13. Thanks for the reply. So if the class stories end after chapter 3, this one size fits all for the expansion story is that for all 8 classes? or is their a 2 stories one from the republic side and one from the empire side? or is it one story for both sides?
  14. Hi all, I have been with SWTOR from the beginning and have loved playing the class story missions. But as im a buys person i don't get to play this game as much as id like. Even tho i have been here from the start i am only just about to complete the final class story, the Trooper. I saved that one till the last. So i have a question regarding the DLC. Dose each class have its own unique story for the DLC's, Rise of the Hutt Cartel, Shadow of Revan and Knights of the Fallen Empire? or is it just 1 unique story for the Republic/Empire? Even tho im only just about to complete all the original class missions i have completed Hutt Cartel and Shadow of Revan with a Sith Warrior. I am eager to start Knights of the Fallen Empire, but first i want to make sure i have played all the story that comes before it? So do i need to play the DLC with each class or just 1 class on each side? Thanks Joe
  15. yes same here my one dose not show a blue screen just freezes the games picture and the sound also sticks. it happens to me on the taxi, but i do travel on taxi with map open most times.
  16. just to add, it has now crashed another 2 times doing this but this time around once I logged back in, my character was still on the taxi speeder about half way to my destination. lucky it made it to the destination without crashing. but for now im avoiding the taxi service it keeps on crashing.
  17. Hi all, So this bug has started to happen to me to day. If i talk to one of the travel droids and pick a destination to travel to on the Taxis during the ride at some point, before reaching the destination the game will totally freeze. Not only dose it freeze but it freezes so bad it locks out my computer and i am forced to either shutdown or force a log off. Then once i start the game backup and log it, my character is stood in front of the taxi droid that i had tried to use. This crash has now happened to me 4 times today, its really annoying to have to shutdown due to this bug and its making travelling around the maps long and slow. Anyone else having this issue, or know of a fix for it?
  18. Ok so i have just made my Level 60 Sith Warrior. If you want to talk to your old crew and customize their gear, or your own gear. As well as do old side quest, you can. Once you start the game and reach the first conversation press escape and click exit. This returns you to the Fleet and you can do everything you normally could do. Once ready to start the new DLC just go back to your ship and start the mission.
  19. Thats cooling know i will be able to buy a second one later. I will make a new level 60 Sith Warrior now and later buy one to make my Level 60 Jedi Knight. As for the companions, sounds like you will have all their original conversations to go through. If thats the case removing Vett's shock collar with still be a choice, as thats done in one of her earlier conversations. As for Jaesa, I will have to wait and see as her landing on light or dark was based on her recruitment mission. I also see people saying that the original crew/companions leave at the start of the story. Is that just in the story are they still on the ship? can i still summon them to do side quests on other planets not to do with the DLC?
  20. Hi all, So i noticed we can create a level 60 character, if your a subscriber. My question is can we make more than 1 character at 60? This may sound silly but all my other characters are exactly how i like them, all their outfits and choices i have made with them. I really like to personalize them for the role and make them feel like they are a virtual me. This has taken me some time, in fact i have just started on the last one of the original 8 classes. So i do want to make an Outlander but i really want to do it with a new character so i can once again personalize them for the role, both their looks and ability and personality. I would like to have 2 Outlanders, one for Republic and one for Empire. I would hate to either make an existing character an Outlander or to make a new character at level 1 and go through it all again to get them to level 60. Now i have 1 last question. I if i can only make 1 new level 60, then it will be a Sith Warrior. I know the boost make it so all Class and other Expansion missions are complete, but i was wondering what about the companions? Will it make Vette have her shock collar off or on? Will it make Jaesa light or dark? Hope you can help me. Thanks Joe.
  21. I think i understand a little more now. So any character we have at level 60 can become an Outlander, if we chose to start the missions with them. And all subscribers get an extra character that we can make from scratch to be an Outlander.
  22. Hi all, I just want to ask some questions that im not clear about the new Expansion. So are the Outlanders a new Alliances? or are they a new Class? If they are neither of the above dose that mean i can make any of my current characters an Outlander? I have 6 characters that have their class missions complete, im currently working on the last 2. So my 5 out of the 6 i have finished are only the class missions, 1 out of the 6 has class missions and both expansions complete. I hear you can get a boost to level 60 with this expansion. If i boost a character that still has not completed their class missions can i still complete their class missions before they become an Outlander? Also the expansion says you can hand pick a new crew, dose this mean i have to leave my old crew behind? Also if i can hand pick the crew, dose this mean i can pick companions from different classes? Thanks for any help you all can give. I have been away for awhile and now im trying to finish off the last 2 classes to catch up in time for the expansion. Bonus question, my only level 60 is a Sith Warrior who has completed class and expansion missions. If i make him my Outlander can i make a second Outlander from a Republic character?
  23. thats good to know, is there an official post about it some where on here? i cant seem to find one.
  24. im currently patching the game as i type this. Thats great news about Togruta been hoping to play as that races for awhile as for the 12x xp thats perfect i have already got my self 4 characters to max level with out the boost now i can finish off the other 4 but someone said there was an in game option to trun it on? is that true or will it just activate?
