  1. Bounty Hunter, not sure the quest: Lord Thos: I would know who you are and how it is you came to our rescue. Response: I would know who you are and how you came to be in my face.
  2. Now that I've played a couple thousand games of Huttball, I started wondering what Trandoshani flatcakes taste like. Also, there have been underground whispers of deep-fried Tauntaun nuggets whenever I go to Hoth's general chat.
  3. Was a Mercenary until I dinged 50, so I then decided to level up a Jedi Guardian + Sith Juggernaut (one I made because the armor looked better) solely on PvP after level 14 after getting sprint. Mercenaries are one of the easiest classes to take down from what I've experienced, as long as you have an interrupt and you can close the gap. However, seems like many people get really mad because they get killed by a mercenary or commando while they are trying to kill someone else or while they are doing an objective. Or they weren't paying attention and allowed a Mercenary or Commando to hit all 5 of their tracer missiles/grav shots (which, as Mercenary, lots of people let me do that; I played it like a support class rather than a full on assault class). Honestly, if you're right up in the face of a mercenary or commando, they can't get their skills off (and part of the time, their skills aren't activating because they aren't facing you). Slow so they can't widen the gap, interrupt, choke or push when they attempt some other channeled ability, run in circles as you attack, and they are basically fodder--especially with all their channeled or cast abilities.
  4. Super tired of this exploit -- not everyone does it, but when people do, it's ridiculously annoying. No way to time your attacks to take them out, so you just have to get lucky during their latency spasms. It's not so much you can't beat them (because you can), but that they escape a team of 3+ when there's no possible way they could have unless they glitched-out at such a convenient moment. Going to install FRAPS just to record them and hopefully get some of them suspended.
  5. What would really be cool is if slicing (or any mission/gathering crew skill) gave you access to unique instanced quests or something; or Easter eggs or getting Imperial/Republic top-secret computer schematics for new dance moves/emotes, or something that doesn't necessarily have to be pertinent to the gameplay or gear. Crafting needs a big buff in some way; otherwise, it's just there to do something else when you're idle. Maybe it'd be nice if crafted items were also more class specific or race specific. I don't think I've seen many players on my server who weren't human or cyborg.
  6. Well, slicing got buffed a bit, from what I can tell; however, it is definitely not on par to the pre-nerf area (from launch), since then I was getting 7000-8000 in credits for 1500 credit missions. This is definitely more balanced than the pre-nerf and post-nerf scenarios. I still lose money and I still have a chance to fail and lose money, so it sorta evens out.
  7. http://penny-arcade.com/comic/2012/01/06 Just thought I'd leave this here, because it seemed somewhat relevant, even if it's not referring to the same game.
  8. I just got this bug (no Jedi Master to talk to), and it makes me sad that there's no solution yet or official response. If I have to run through this quest for a fourth time and not see that Jedi, I will go crazy.
  9. I have to agree, even if I don't slice, 2000 credits and 30-40 minutes of companion loss for a mission and then getting a return of 1700 or less most of the time doesn't sound great. There has to be a return of some sort, whether it's credits or more special missions for other crafting classes. Otherwise, it seems really pointless to have this crafting profession that, quite essentially, a money sink ONLY. Unless there's a decent chance for some gigantic jackpot per slicing mission... then there's no reason for any person to choose slicing to take up a spot (even augments seem to be less than worthwhile). If they are constantly losing money with no reasonable way of regaining it, then it seems lopsided. While I don't think slicers should get receive double their investment money per mission, I think it's reasonable to have it so they don't lose money every time they partake in a slicing mission.
