  1. Yes, there are a few of us out there.
  2. Loot system is a /random wins, with nightly deferral system. We roll /rand 100 for main spec first. Everyone who has won a main spec piece that night automatically defers to anyone who has won fewer main spec pieces. Highest person who does not need to defer wins the piece. We then do the same with off-spec, keeping separate main and off-spec deferral lists. If it is not needed main or off, we open it up for companion rolls. We do not keep track of companion loots, so straight up high roll wins. Crafting materials are handled the same way as a main spec item, but with a separate deferral list. We do not keep track of "junk" loot (e.g., Columi or lower) awarded when doing the HM EV/KP runs. The main exception is that when defeating content for new gear levels (e.g., as we start HM TFB), we do not keep separate main- and off-spec lists, and have no "free" rolls for companions. This is because Mods and Enhancements can be ripped out and placed in other gear to still upgrade main-spec items. Once folks have a decent amount of the new gear, we reintroduce off-spec and then companion rolls on those runs.
  3. Reckless is recruiting raiders into our guild. We are raiding 8-man ops on multiple nights a week and trying to expand up to 16-mans. We are all adult players, and we keep the Vent and channels family-friendly. What are we looking for? We are looking for mature individuals who are competent at their class(es), can work well on a team, and can consistently make raid nights. What do we not want? If you cannot play the game without cussing or using abusive or inappropriate language, we don't want you. Yes, but what classes are we looking for? Everything. If you are good at your class, we can use you. If you want more detail, here's our situation on the basic roles: Tanks: We have two tanks (Vanguard and Guardian). We can really use another tank for nights one of us has to miss. Both our current tanks have alts we cannot raid with as we are needed as tanks. Ideally a new tank would have alts so they can fill in whatever role is needed. Healers: We love healers. We have two recent recruits who are healing our progression Ops (Sage and Scoundrel). We need another 2 good healers so we can start on 16-mans. DPS: We have an even split of melee (2 Sentinels) and ranged (2 Commandos) DPS. We need another 6 DPS (at least 3 ranged) for 16-mans. Raid Info Primary raid nights are Tuesday and Thursday. We start at 9:15 p.m. Eastern and end by 1 a.m. This is for the folks who are in Rakata or Black Hole gear with full augmentation. We do Explosive Conflicts and Terror From Beyond on these nights. Sunday nights starting at 6 p.m. Eastern is our gear-up night for folks needing Rakata pieces. We do Eternity Vault and Karagga's Palace on these nights. We use Ventrilo for raids. We use swmonitor for raid parsing. Raid Targets Our current progression target is Story Mode Terror From Beyond. We have cleared the first three bosses, and gotten Kephess the Undying down to 6%. We plan on starting to learn the initial Terror From Beyond Hard Mode fights next week. We have cleared Story Mode Explosive Conflicts many times, and killed the first boss of HM EC. Contact Info Contact a <Reckless> guild member and ask them if an Officer is on. Or just look for Felsen, Felwraith, Er'iel, Candatar, or Grimmes. You can also reach us through our website at reckless.guildlaunch.com.
  4. I'm a Gunslinger and I used Corso exclusively. Corso is an actual tank, so will pull threat off of me, allowing me to use any of the Gunslinger's many channeled abilities without being disrupted.
  5. A lot of this will depend on what stats you already have. There is no single stat that you want to stack forever, due to diminishing returns. That being said, I believe that the primary stat (Cunning) has the least diminishing returns right now, and is typically a good stat to stack. Otherwise, I haven't number-crunched on my Gunslinger yet, but can give general guidelines I found from the other classes. (1) Surge - Get surge to at least 150. Somewhere in the 150-200 range, surge appears to take a nosedive in terms of diminishing returns. This is likely true for Power and Critical as well, but I think you have to try in order to get either of those below 150. (2) Balance Critical and Power below 400 - Somewhere around 400, diminishing returns seem to hurt Critical and Power. So if you have 500 Crit but only 200 Power, balance them out a bit more, as you're better off with 350 each. Beyond that, the game gives pretty good tooltips. Find a few pieces of gear that you can take off and put back on to see how each stat affects your abilities. They will give a good approximation of the added benefit for each point of each stat based on your current gear.
