  1. These are very well made. I am slightly distracted by your choice of Forum name though.
  2. WHY oh why does the game not look as good as this? These are excellent, high-quality "Skyrim"-esque pictures you have. WTB SWTOR with these graphics.
  3. Mine is a little unusual as I use a Logitech keyboard and an naga mouse, but its going to be... 1. Saber Strike 2. Project. 3. Clair Strike 4. Shadow Strike 5. Tele Throw 6. Force of Will Q. Force Wave E. Stun F. Force Lift ALT + F. Mind Maze R. Stealth NUM 1 (mouse). Breach NUM 2 (mouse). .......Damnit I forget. NUM 4 (mouse). Tumult NUM 5 (mouse). Spinning strike And....others, but at work and currently drawing a blank.
  4. The sad part is, nearly ALL of the issues regarding animations / lag can be solved with one fix. Make the damage IMMEDIATE. Regardless of travel time to target. WoW does it, Rift does it, most MMOs do it. Why we need to wait for Projects long animation PLUS its travel time to see results is beyond me.
  5. Inf IS squishy....but I can't help but believe you are doing something fundementally *wrong* I'm 42 and currently on Belsavis, and while my hp goes down quicker than the prom queen's panties at midnight, I'm killing much faster than Im dying. Even on elite pulls, I find that within the first 5-8 seconds the elite is down to 48-60%, and I've yet to be injured. CSx2 / Project/ Breach Repeat Stun/Shadow strike on procs Tumult / Shadow Strike on Holiday stuns And of course use Spinning strike sub 30%. Granted, I DO have some concerns once I get Nadia, because I really would like to use her, but I've got a feeling it wont be very easy as Inf without Tharan.
  6. Betcha regret rolling Empire now eh? Eh? No but seriously, Revan is a ******. And...I have no idea, sorry.
  7. I place more emphasis on PvP than PvE, and have for the better part of a decade of MMO gaming. You know what they say about assumptions? Right. In PvP there is pride, ego, and accomplishment...yes. But voting for MVP has nothing to do with real accomplishment! Why? Because there are no limiting factors / parameters that FORCE the player to actually select a "worthy" candidate. They pick their friends, whomever was the funniest, the one healer who actually healed them, the one who did the most damage, yada yada, ect. Get my point? There is NOTHING forcing players to make thoughtful decisions on MVP. And why should there be? Theres NO REWARD TO IT. Screen-shot your defenses/kills/medals for EPEENING (no diss here, as I know I certainly do) - But forget about MVP. Its stupid, pointless, and has no barring on how well you played the game.
  8. Not really trolling...its a legitimate question. The MVP option is completely pointless, arbitrary, and opinionated. It holds no weight No are there any real parameters that exist to guide players towards making what you would call an "informed" decision. Does defense win games? Absolutely. Some would say the best defense is a good offence though. Who's right? Better question, who care? tl;dr : You are whining about something that has absolutely no meaning or reward.
  9. /Facepalm This is like Facebook /liking POINTLESS. Seriously, why do you care?
  10. Do not add Dual spec. It simply will not work with as much synergy as it does in WoW. In WoW you have what is it...8 or 10 DISTINCT classes? Sure, their roles blur a bit, but they are all seperate classes, spanning several different Main stats, armor types, weapon types, ect. In SWTOR, you've got 4 classes on each side that then branch into a another class at 10. Leveling up those...there is practically NO difference in gearing a JC shadow versus a Sage. Lightsaber is the only difference. Basically if we had dual spec, main spec Shadow's would be double-****ed in that not only would they be losing out in armor, but in weapons as well to their Sage counterparts, and visa-versa. This applies to the other classes as well. Pick a role, and damned well stick to it. Besides, I got sick and tired of idiots dual-speccing into heals/tanking that had NO idea what they were doing.
  11. Ive fought a couple Empire players who had purple lightsabers. They were 50 though. So....
  12. Thats going to be taken REAL seriously by a 42. Whos fighting 10-20s. Yup. I'm feelin' ya brah.
  13. Bolster does not fix the difference in levels - simple. If you want to argue with me on this, I gladly welcome the challenge as math quite simply proves me right here. Gear? Non issue. Base states? Non issues. Kudos to "Bolster" for removing those gaps. But what it does take remove is the advantage higher level players have in their arsenal of skills, as well as their talents. An infiltrator Shadow whom has the +30% Shadow Strike, his Shadow Technique fully talented, and all the talents needed to pump up his Project will walk circles around an Infiltrator Shadow whom does not. And thats just talents, nevermind the other abilities available to the higher leveled Consular. You cannot cannot cannot dispute any of the above. Cannot. No seriously, I can see your fingers typing something clever (in your head, no one else thinks so) that somehow negates the above. Just stop. Having said that, am I ok with Bolster for 10-40? Sure. But 41-49 need their OWN bracket, and 50s need their own bracket as well.
  14. Ok good thats a relief. As far as performance though, how should this PC handle?
  15. I just thought of something.... I ordered 3 Monitors, but 1 graphics card currently (Will eventually get 2) Will I only be able to make use of 2 monitors till I get a 2nd graphics card?
  16. Wondering if this PC will handle MAX settings (hopefully) flawlessly - even in PvP. 17. Thats the million dollar question right now to be honest. With a staggered head start with waves of invites, and each new server filling up near immediately, it will really take a few weeks for the dust to settle and to see which servers were inflated temporarily and which ones are going to keep going for the long haul - and you can forget guaging progression for at least some time. Absolute best bet in this situation is to find a handful of very well known gaming communities/guilds and see which servers they rolled on. Other than that right now its a crap-shoot.
  18. So...now that I've cleared up the Graphics card debate (Its an overclocked 560) - how well will it run SWTOR?
  19. You are probably right, Im not terribly knowledgable on creating PCs, and Im sure I overpayed. I am getting a nice monitor/speakers/mouse/keyboard though, as well as a custom tower. Worth the upcharge? Probably not. At least I know it'll be created right though.
  20. I got the 560 guys. The Overclocked version as well. Yeesh. But yes...Im immediately wishing I got an extra HD. Having said that, I've got a 600gig HD gaming rig (few years old) which will be sitting right next to this one. So I'll be ok....for now. But yeah, def shoulda got one.
  21. I apologize in advanced if this is the wrong forums for this, but I did not see any Tech forums. Here is the PC I have purchased and should be here sometime early January... 22. /Facepalm These 5...oh no wait, 7 days (Keep that in mind...self entitled kiddies) are like a private viewing of a big blockbuster movie 7 days before its actual release. Do try to keep these things in perspective deary. Opening day is the 20th. You buying the game ONLY entitled you to being able to play on the 20th, not a day sooner. If the 20th rolls around and we are all stuck with GINORMOUS queues and/or crashes, believe you me --- I'll be mad as hell too. But for GOOD reasons. Namely, they opened the game up 5 days...oh **** wait, 7 days....earlier to NEGATE those issues. If those issues do exist on the 20th, then yes...we've all got just-cause to be upset. 2 free extra EARLY days on top of the 5 we are getting, with staggering invites (AS PER THE INFO WE'VE KNOWN FOR MONTHS) is NOT reason to *****.
  23. Last figures I heard a month or so ago was 900,000 North American Pre-Orders. There were 1.5 million players in the last Beta. Pretty strong eh?
