  1. Yea, I did try that hat actually, it worked ok out of all the big hats, but still looked a bit weirder than not having a visible hat
  2. Currently have the Calo Nord set bought, as well as 1 Red/White dye. But still keeping it unbound while looking for other options. Feel like there could be better pants than the Calo Nord pants? like pants that are more clothy and without pockets? Don't think there's a hat that would mimick santa's hat in the game currently? There's reindeer horns tho xp There's a shadowland imperial player called jollysaintnick that has a really nice set, but I still haven't found him in game to inspect
  3. Pre Duplicity, Maul should only be used if you have an excess of Force and you KNOW that you won't need more force, so times like when the enemy needs just 1 more big hit to die, otherwise you shouldn't be using it. Post Duplicity, Maul should only be used on Duplicity procs, which is 100% with spike and low blow, but you won't get duplicity til high 20s, and low blow after 29. You'll find that fully stacked shock or discharge rival maul in damage pre duplicity, and that thrash isn't actually that far away. Before you get voltaic fairly late into the game, thrash will be the main skill you'll be spamming, if you're deception, shock when you have 2 stacks of induction, discharge when you have 3 charges. Talented blackout as soon as you're sub 50% force and you know you'll need more. For burst, wait until you have full stacks on discharge, Use recklessness, discharge, shock with induction stacked. This should cause a force crit on one of those 2 skills, which would proc the crit % chance talent in madness tree, which lets you then thrash/maul crit for a few seconds afterwards. Hope this helped, I'm a noob too but I've done my fair share of reading up on Deception Assassins
  4. wow Kyanite, that's a great point.... Checked out the belt and boots and they're simple and perfect. Jacket seems to work really well too, I'm just lost on how to acquire Deep Red/White dye White/Red is security vendor, but White as Primary wouldn't work... Wonder if I should get the pants too, or try to find something cheaper that works too Edit: I noticed that the Deep Red/Grey Dye seems to work well on the chest piece. As a head piece, i'm thinking either Green Efficiency Scanner or Rascal's Pick, for some reason, I feel like my hair isn't as white as it could be though
  5. Calo Nord's: http://tor-fashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/CaloNordMaleClose_thumb.png The amount of white, and the main jacket covering the majority of the body seems very suitable for a Santa suit. The black seems like a bit odd so I'd love a screenshot if you can grab one next time, but maybe that part is the secondary color, so the Dark Red/Pale Red dye would work. I'm honestly surprised that Calo Nord doesn't seem to be regarded as a Lore gear on Tor- fashion? And therefore has a dye slot. Apologize to guy before also, since Tor fashion has Jolee Bindo chest with a dye slot also... maybe they added it after enough people complained? The belt and boots suggestion sounds good though, hopefully I can find one of these 2 chests on the market after work today The Security Key Vendor dye is White/Red which would make primary white, secondary red
  6. Everything except the chest should actually be fairly easy. Jolee Bindo: http://cdn-www.swtor.com/sites/all/files/en/cb/2013_thumbs/vice_commandant/jolee_bindo_854x480.jpg The top looks good, but the tunic flap may go below the waist a bit much. Can someone confirm in game that it is in fact affected by dyes? because Tor-fashion has a dye slot on it, but lots of people complaining online that it doesn't? Out-dated and updated?
  7. As the title says, could the more knowledgeable players please help me figure out what's the easiest/best moddable pieces to acquire for a Santa outfit for the holidays? My issue is that I want this to work for a trooper, so it'd have to be heavy armor/adaptive... so that's the challenge... I'm also not a heavy spender, so while I am subscribed, I won't be buying any cartel coins, and the pieces are preferably common, so one could outfit an entire guild with it without exorbitant costs to give an idea of the outfit http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71yiB9cQlSL._SL1500_.jpg I'm thinking the Cartel dye Red/White is the best dye, but if those dyes are too expensive, than the Makeb Red/Grey would work Jacket would be any plain cloth looking piece preferably with a secondary lining down the middle and on the bottom trim. I was considering the formal jacket but I'm afraid that the secondary colors would affect the sides and not the sash. Pants would just be a plain cloth looking, dyed red Boots are black Belt is a plain looking black Gloves would be a plain looking white Don't think hat is possible Any and all help would be much appreciated! and feel free to acquire this gear too and spread the Holiday cheer!
