  1. It's a simple fact that you are losing dps using that build. As it was stated earlier you are losing dps every time you are casting lightning strike, even if it procs off of wrath. It's simple math. There's no reason to go over it, this spec was lower dps before it was nerfed.
  2. It's much easier than that. We cleared it with 4 people in columi with a couple pieces of rakata on our alts. Infact the healer had some tionese still aswell as battlemaster gear. As stated before it is mechanic heavy but not very healing/dps intensive at all.
  3. Just look back to when guilds cleared it at release like ours did, plenty of guilds cleared it in full rakata without augments. As I said earlier we even had a tank and a healer with half columi at the time. It's very mechanic heavy, but the gear requirement is actually quite low if you can follow those mechanics properly. Obviously any gear upgrades after that is just making it easier, but it's definitely able to be cleared in full rakata.
  4. We're not suggesting they go in undergeared, we are suggesting we go in at the recommended gear level that bioware set for the operation. Which is Rakata without augments for EC HM. At that gear level the operation is easy once you understand the tactics. I honestly can't see how any guild that is able to clear TFB could have any problems with EC HM, all the guilds on our server that have, have had EC HM on farm since the first couple of weeks it came out. Obviously it's easier in higher levels of gear, but so is EV and KP.
  5. They don't resist any of the damage you do. I'm full 61 with a few 63 pieces of healing gear but I sometimes have to step in to dps, I get 1,700+ on the dummy as a sage in my healing gear.
  6. Full rakata gear is more than enough for EC HM. When the content came out that's all we had and guilds cleared it just fine. Our guild cleared it with some people with quite a few columi pieces still.
  7. If you do that it shows sages as some of the highest too, yet you complain like no end about how "bad" sages dps are. It's not the classes fault you parse at 1600 it's yours.
  8. Just looking for a parse showing shadows even within 200 dps of maras/powertechs on the operation dummy, since you seem to think they're the best dps.
  9. Aim also adds crit. Aim is 100% the way to go if your build takes the 9% aim talent in the left tree.
  10. Nice parse, the difference is the latency you usually get on the fleet, though I guess you can just avoid that by going in the early hours of the morning.
  11. No, I have no 63 mods/pilgrim buff or anything. Not sure, it's the highest rail shot I've ever gotten. Edit: Also the 2 parses you guys posted don't count. It has to be done on the fleet dummy, I can get higher on my own dummy too.
  12. I haven't seen a 2000~ dps parse from a sniper or commando, but I guess there could be some out there. Only the highest armour debuff counts. It doesn't matter if there is another armour debuff placed ontop of theirs. It has been this way since 1.3. I agree, but the difference isn't 200 dps+.
  13. I do agree, it will make a difference, but the difference will not be 200dps +. The thing with this is a lot of classes do have armour debuffs, and they aren't at the top anyway. Snipers and gunnery commandos both apply an armour debuff. According to your logic they should be just as high because of this.
  14. Mind posting the parse to prove this "truth"?
  15. They do? I've never seen a parse from a shadow at around 2,000 dps on the dummy, if you know of any I'd like to see. Also sages should be 1,800+ in bh/campaign on the dummy.
  16. http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/23abbd9b-4fce-4136-85a1-adb41449d082 Is what I use both spec/gear. I personally use a rotation of: IM > Rail shot > rocket punch > Rail shot > Flame burst etc. Keep IM up on the boss at all times, and always keep in the positive heat regen. I try to only use rocket punch when I know that rail shot is off of the Internal cooldown so that I have a higher chance at a reset. Doing this I'm sitting at 1950+ dps on the dummy.
  17. I never really have problems with heat, I did at first after changing as I was used to having such a small cooldown but in the end I got used to it. As for having no TD, I think flameburst is almost as good as the TD. TD relies a lot on crits otherwise its damage is miniscule, whereas flameburst still hits ok numbers without crits and has a higher crit chance than TD. I personally use 2x war hero power relics. I never actually picked up the matrix cube on this character so I've never parsed to see a difference, I just assume the war hero relic is better from looking at the stats.
  18. I was also getting around 1910~ on the dummy but swapped to 8/5/28 after the range nerf on the TD. I do miss having a crazy short cooldown on the thermal sensor overide sometimes but my dps went up by quite a bit from changing: http://www.torparse.com/a/25439/time/1348928509/1348928811
  19. Incendiary missile is a must use in pve, if you're not using it as soon as it ticks off, you are doing it wrong.
  20. I have just made a profile on AMR if you want to add it: http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/23abbd9b-4fce-4136-85a1-adb41449d082
  21. Character Name: Trsk <Saga> Character Class: Powertech Character Spec: 8/5/28 Torparse Link: http://www.torparse.com/a/25439/4 AMR Profile: http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/23abbd9b-4fce-4136-85a1-adb41449d082
  22. I do agree, the powertech rotation is very simple. However I am casting incendiary missile whenever it runs off the target, the damage you see there is just from the impact, mox records it like that for some reason. A lot of other classes are like that though, both sorcerers and mercenaries both only use around 4/5 abilities.
  23. I wouldn't call that exactly "stable": http://imgur.com/mFJir
  24. Nope, powertechs parse higher numbers than mercs on a training dummy.
