  1. Doesn't appear to be as I have run into it. After facing the force sensitive Ragouls and freeing the Jedi I was unable to do anything else.
  2. Hi. Returning player. Been on and off since launch. Haven't playing in about 3 years so my max characters are 65 on the imp side. I decided to jump back in by leveling a new Republic side character for now. Its like relearning all over again. Already joined the discord so looking forward to meeting some new people to play with. Thanks!

  4. Is there no way to delete a post I made?
  5. So what happened. I love all the speculation on the forums but would love to know the real story.
  6. DDOS maps don't look too bad. It could just be a main trunk into a data center is down or power issues that are effecting an entire data center. I saw a DC loose power once and none of the backup systems kicked in. It was a freaking nightmare!
  7. I am recently returned to the game after being away since the first year of launch. I now have mostly 208 gear bought through common crystals and/or tactical flashpoints. I am level 65. I am wondering what is the best method to begin augmenting gear. Should i just start putting mk-8 slots in and getting the best augments for the money? Should I start with something lower like mk-6? I want to be smart about it. I know I can just pull mods out of any new gear i get and slap it into what I am currently wearing so I don't see why I wouldn't jump right into MK-8 slots but I don't have the experience to know if that is the smart route or not. Any help?
  8. Cool! Thanks. Thats what I was figuring. I ran Battle of Illum and False Emperor last night as well as Boarding Party. I plan to do the Foundry today. I did Black Talon a while ago. The rest I can just leave for randoms then as they don't effect the main story. I do plan to do Kaon Under Siege and Lost Island as well. It would be nice to do the operations in some order but thats just not going to happen. I am sure I will get a chance to run them all at some point with my guild though. Thanks again!
  9. So I am playing through for the first time. I have finished most of the 1.0 content at this point and have not started on Hutt Cartel yet. I am wanting to be a bit of a complishinist and see as much of the story as I can. I know I won't be able to do operations easily outside the guild and that is fine. I will get to them. As for as flashpoints go I see many can be done solo which I have done a few of and some require a group. I have also noticed that some of the flashpoints seed you into them for the first time with a purple mission marker and that leads you into the solo mode. I take it these flashpoints are more part of the main story arc where others are more of a minor side thing. For instance Boarding Party and the Foundry seem to be more part of the overall story arch where as Hammer Station is just something you can do. My question is, what Flashpoints would fall into the category of "part of the overall story" I at the very least want to go solo those for the story. Then in the future when I queue for them I can spacebar through and not hold the group up. Thanks.
  10. I am a returning player on Harbinger. I played in Beta and launch and off an on a bit since. I am now looking to start playing more regularly and have rolled a fresh Sith warrior to reacquaint myself with the game. I am currently 25 and moving through. I also have a 51 BH that I will play again at some point but I felt that a fresh start would be more enjoyable right now. I am absorbing the whole story and just having a good time. I would like to be in a guild with a lot of active members that are chill and down to earth. I am not a serious end game player right now though at some point I may want to run the occasional OP. For now I am more interested in socializing, running some Flashpoints, having fun people to talk to and maybe get some pointers from. If your guild fits this description let me know. Thanks.
  11. Looking through this forum there appear to be many good guilds but I wanted to make this post to tell you about me and perhaps let you judge if I would be a good fit for your guild. About me: I am 33 years old, married and have 2 kids (2 /12 year old and a 6 week old). I love gaming and MMOs but don't have the time I used to to play. I basically squeeze it in when I can. I have played WoW for many years and SWG before that. I play SWTOR in beta and pre-launch and for the first month or two after release. All of my friends lost interest and stopped playing and so did I. I returned to WoW and did some raiding for a bit. I had been a tank since launch and continued in that role for my guild. I have played with the same guild for all 8 years of WoW so I am not the type of person who guild hops. I served as an officer as well in that time. With my change in schedule I stopped raiding and got into making gold and hit 2 million but the game has just lost its appeal for me. I missed SWTOR and decided it was time to come back. What I am looking for: I would like to find a guild that is casual yet dedicated. I am relearning to play the game and my class/role. I would love to be around helpful people that can make me a better player. I want to be able to run flashpoints but mostly 4 mans. I would hop in any 8 or 16 i could if I have the time but its rare for me to get a solid block of time to play with the family and all. What is most important to me in a guild is the people. I want them to be fun, friendly, and with a good sense of humor (the humor can be a bit dark and inappropriate. I don't mind). I mostly PVE but I would love to test the PVP waters as well. I just want to have fun with some good people. My main is a Merc/arsenal BH. (Name: Dreadnok) I mostly play on weekends and evenings as I work full time and have to wait for the kids to go to bed before I can get any real time in. If you think I may be a good fit, hit me up here or in game. Thanks all! -Dreadnok
  12. We should get to watch some kind of epic bout between Star Wars Legends. Yoda vs. Reven. My money would be on Reven.
  13. I know some people don't like the game but personally I love it. There are many things I want to see improved, mainly with space, but on the whole I like it. Its fun, good story, and entertaining. The game is still young and will develop over time. I will keep my sub and keep playing.
  14. Love this site however it is hard to find the page with these customizations from the home page. After registering I had trouble finding my way back to the UI customizations. Can you make a nice clear link from the homepage?
  15. WoW. I do like yours. Mine is up there too but I may download yours and play with it a bit. Very similar style to mine in trying to keep stuff at the bottom and clear the top out. Nice work.
  16. Ya. They can use some of the models but you have to realize that a lot of objects really don't have anything on the side you can't see. It is like in WoW when they added flight to the original game zones. They had to rebuild every zone so that they could be viewed from above and any angle they were not previously viewable from. My point it this is not something we will see in a patch. It is an xpac. Also I would hope that when it does happen we will see many zones including the space above all playable planets as well as deep space areas.
  17. Yes the engine is capable but they would still have to create entire zones and missons. It is an expansion pack in itself. You can't just remove the rails from the current space missions and let people fly around. Zones will have to be built from the ground up. So lets keep our fingers crossed that this will be our first expansion pack.
  18. The space combat system is what it is. Its really a mini game within the game. I like it for what it is but I am disappointed it is not an open system. I was really hoping for something closer to SWG here. Two things i fell SWG has over TOR is the character customization when you create your character and space combat. I do hope the first expansion pack is focused on making space an open system with actual zones and missions and even PVP. The mini game is fun but it has no bearing on the rest of the game. Give us an MMO in space.
  19. Great site! Thanks. I will upload mine once I am done tweaking it.
  20. Same here. It seems keybinds are not saved with the config. I rolled a new toon on another server and since it was the same class I was hoping to get my key layout and keybindings to transfer but they don't. Just the layout of the movable frames.
  21. I am patching the game right now so I have not logged in yet. I am really looking forward to the UI customization and the ability to match your armor again. That was one feature I really missed from beta. Judging by all the complaints I have read here it seems like I may be one of the lucky ones. I just rerolled on a populated server so all this complaints about BM gear and legacy stuff doesn't effect me. Can't wait to check it out. I hope the changes bring people back to the game who have taken a break.
  22. I think the lack on population on the higher level worlds is due to most players not being at that level yet. There seems to be a more casual fun crowd in this game. There are some hard core mmo players here, 2 in my guild in fact that have dinged 50 but the majority of people still seem to be below 30. I think this game has made people stop and enjoy the story and everything that is going on. The game can be extremely fun if you let it. When you Skip the cut scenes and rushing to level up first you out level everyone else and end up on top of the mountain all alone. Now some people just have more time to play than others which is fine but the game has only been out for 3 weeks. In a few more weeks the majority of the population will have hit 50 and you will be seeing a lot more people around. The lower levels will also be populated with alts. As said earlier there are a fraction of the subscribers that WoW has (although still more than WoW had at launch), so give it some time. If you don't feel it is at the level you want don't renew your sub and check back in a few months. Don't write the game off before it has had a chance to flourish. I think people forget what WoW was like at launch. It was a good game with a ton of potential and it grew into something awesome over the years. Let SWTOR do the same. Personally I am really enjoying this game. I think it fits both my casual style of play and time constraints as well as the more hard core play 50+ hours a week style of some of my friends. I think the game still needs a lot of work and am excited to see what Bioware does with it over the course of the next year. I too have my limits and if I see no progress in the game and no new content I will leave as well. But I have been playing Bioware games for years and I have a great amount of faith in them. Anyone who put out games like Baulder's Gate, NWN, and of course KOTOR can only do good. I respect the OP decision to leave the game. That is his choice but I hope more people will give it a chance because the potential to be great is there if given the chance. Thanks for listening people. MTFBWY.
  23. I have heard rumors that the Black Talon loot table has been bugged since Beta. The Pants and Helms do not drop at all and certain other pieces drop way more often than some. Bounty Hunter gear seems to be the most common drop and the lightsaber from the Jedi at the end. But no pants or helms for any class are dropping at all. Can someone at Bioware confirm this and let us know if we can expect a fix? Thanks
  24. After getting back from the store last night with my hard copy of the game and entering my code I logged in and was shocked to find no queue to get in my server. I didn't roll my character last night, I have been in since day 2 of Early Access. Haven't tried yet this morning as I am at work.
