  1. From each person who says $15 is nothing..... I'll expect a game time code in a personal message. Thanks.
  2. $15: An article of clothing for a child. School lunches. The entry fee to a sports league. The gas money required to take your children to their sporting events. Also: Enough money to feed an entire tribe of starving people in Africa. $15 is something. A big something, given the proper perspective.
  3. I can't help to feel sorry for the players who are incredibly loyal to this game, who have spent money on a Collector's Edition that was absolutely worthless, and who have limited playing time while raising children. I know some of these people, and while most are saying "it's only $15" they're obviously not raising children. $15 dollars is a lot of money when you're raising children. So when you attempt to trivialize this incredible mistake by Bioware, you might stop for a second to realize, not everyone is like you. Some people could use that $15 for an entry fee to a sports league. This is a very bad move.
  4. I'm leaving this thread now Bioware. I'm not feeling like logging in to the game at this point. This whole thing has been very anti-climatic. I'm not going to un-sub just yet, I'll let this soak for a bit before I decide. But I will say, I've never even imagined something like this could even be possible from a business. Maybe from a bunch of silly kids, but never from a full-on business. The gaming industry is weak in current times. We pay for Beta testing, and we get disrespected by the companies we build with our dollars. We do more for you than you do for you. Thank you for making this very apparent. I will rest my judgement for a later time. I'm hoping the hand print on my face fades before I look in the mirror again.
  5. Because helping a bunch of whiny NPC's get their land back that was never their land to begin with is any better. (see: jedi/taris)
  6. Guess what. Guild Wars 2 will give us every month for free. Thanks for deciding for me which game I will play. I will not be purchasing the CE, however.
  7. Every person who let this idea go live needs a reality check. First in line is the guy who pressed 'Enter' after typing that ridiculous information.
  8. Along side of the absolute worthlessness of the CE purchase, this is one of the stupidest things I've ever even heard of. I was just telling a fellow CE purchaser that "since they made this CE so expensive and so ridiculously worthless, they should give us game time to compensate us." Then I read this upon logging on today. I have a level 42 and several mid-level alts. I have purposely chosen against level capping so that I could preserve my interest in the game. I was a Pre-Order customer. I played in the Beta's. As a Guild Leader I got several people who would not have played the game, to play the game because we have a great guild and Raid well together. As their Raid Leader, they follow me. It is truly an honor. I'm thankful they do so. We have skipped Raiding due to all of the things we have heard/read/seen about End Game so that we could enjoy the game at a slow pace and play what most people believe to be the only fun part about the game up until now, that is, leveling. What any person who argues against those not having a level 50 is not seeing is that WE CONTINUE TO PLAY AND ENJOY THIS GAME WITH PRESERVATION. So for preservation's sake, we are not considered. There is nothing ok/good/cool about that. Period.
