  1. Some people should just be banned from starting topics on the forums
  2. People just don't seem to realize just how big of a part crafting played in Pre-CU SWG. Ask 10 Weaponsmiths to make the same item(lets say a power hammer) and each of the created items will be different. Some will have more damage and others a better attack speed. The more time you put into crafting the better items you would make and the more money too. Crafters ran the economy because they were actually needed. PvPer were usually lower on the economic totem pole while the crafters would be the 1% of America. Now a days with games like WoW and TOR, 10 Armstech asked to make the same item will give you 10 identical items. It used to be a challenge to make better items. You actually had to go out and find the good resources. Now I just send my companions off when im in an instance. Absolutely not fun crafting now. Ive played WoW for years and have mastered most crafting professions in that game. My experience from that is that gear from raids is better then what A crafter can make anyways, and its free too. Trying to compare SWG to TOR is like trying to compare a car to a tree. They're just two completely different games.
