Pretty much this, I usually ranged from 3-400k on average every match as a guardian going for objectives, there's not really any excuse for 140k damage unless you sit on a base in Alderaan all game with noone coming by.

I play republic and nothing like what people claim happened yesterday. The imps may have actually gotten inside of our base once for about 15 minutes all day, otherwise we were pushing them back, even to their spawn at one point.

I can assure you he only said that because, if you look, everyone in the guardian forums is complaining constantly because they think our class is bad when in reality they're just really bad at it. I have no issues sticking to targets, I fail to see why others should struggle.

Uh yeah... no. Focus guardians mobility is perfectly fine, learn to play issue. I really find focus (and most other specs) in this game to be balanced, or close enough that it's a non issue. Are 8k crits a little high? Yeah, but that's only because I'm able to stack 2x expertise buffs, an adrenal and a relic to achieve them. In terms of damage output I think guardians are on par and have a unique play style which is quite enjoyable.

Keep in mind this is on a level 50 sorc with 12.2K health and that it hit a second person for just over 8k at the same time. I'm sure with the right rng on the right person I could break 9k no problem.

Simply put, in those 20 seconds you were locking that healer down, I would've killed him in about 5-6.

No reason not to have 2 points in stagger. Pulse is useless, you're already stunning your target, pushback shouldn't be an issue, not worth 2 points. I don't know if you even read what I wrote, but I'll respond anyways. What part of me saying you can switch on demand to save you HEALER (pointless, I know) for a short time, makes you a hybrid? What part of using no cost, off the GCD taunts to protect your team with no downside makes you a hybrid? Okay you have 1 more stun and your leap stuns instead of just rooting like for focus guardians, cool. I really need to make a PvP video to show people on these forums how ignorant they are when it comes to guardian DPS viability. When a defense guardian can put out a 6.5k followed by a 4k crit on a full geared 50 with minimal set up and 400k damage and 50k+ protection steadily in warzones with 12-14 medals on average, then maybe I'll consider them remotely useful. Until then, keep running around with guard on someone doing minimal damage and stunning people slightly more often, thinking you're a huge asset to your team.

You are aware that you can switch stances instantly during combat right? So if there are 5 people murdering your healer you can still play focus and decide "Hey, maybe I should guard and taunt off this healer to help him live for a short while..." The thing about focus guardian is that you can do almost everything as well defensively as a defense specced guardian on demand, but you also actually have the power to kill people. (And by kill people, I mean crit for 6-7k with minimal set up)

Play focus, then you'll see how good our dps is, every warzone I get between 250-400k damage depending on the length of the match and 8-12 medals.

I tend to just drop the healer from full to dead in 5 seconds flat which is slightly more effective.

What they said, no point taking crit as focus when your main nuke is already an auto crit.

Actually I have, and I managed just fine as republic.

Med stations are also neutral from what I can tell, if you wait 5 minutes your flag will wear off and you'll be fine.

Just to correct many of you people in this thread, normally buffed in average gear a fully set up sweep crits at most around 3.5k give or take a few hundred, 6k is by no means average and neither is 5k or even 4k either.

Guardians went from the worst most useless class ever to op nerf please overnight on these forums. Gotta love it.

We have 2 dps specs for a reason, stop telling people how to play their class when you have no idea what they want out of it.
