  1. I'm absolutely thrilled for this. However, I hesitate to get my hopes up.. Devs, I know I'm not the only one. Please make sure you don't forget Khem Val. I know he's an awkward one to work with, but please. My main is romance to him, and I've waited several years for him to return from "gathering sacrifices for the Bonding Ceremony", as have many others. Please please pleaaaaase don't forget him, and please don't forget the ceremony!!! πŸ₯°πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
  2. This is absolutely the WORST possible decision ever. I'm one of MANY players who go through and get outfits set up at lvl one before I even take a quest. I set up outfits based on a character's spec. Because of this, half my stuff comes from the GTN. Every outfit I make, I'm on the GTN for things like boots, belts, and bracers, sometimes other pieces. We need this option, not just a promise of "eventually". --- On a semi-related note, it would be great to have a more in-depth dye option...like choose your color(s), and pay a small amount to unlock a slider bar to adjust colors on primary and secondary dyes To get that absolute perfect look you want. Also, the amount of brown leather straps that won't dye are a killer for some outfits. It ruins the whole look. I had an outfit put together last night, only to discover that half of it stayed brown, the black I chose was more of a dark grey, and the shoulders stayed silver. I had to find something else.

    Hopping in to add my voice to this - I feel the companion stories are crucial to every aspect. Having their story suddenly dangle off a cliff never to be mentioned again takes quite a bit out of your characters personal story. I've enjoyed several of the companion stories, namely Vette and Torian, but Khem in particular. His story, for whatever reason, seemed the most ingrained into my character's story than any of the others I played. I grew very invested into it. At some point, I found myself wishing my character could romance him (this was the first year of the game, so that wasn't even a consideration in the dev's minds at that point 🀣). After I returned from a very long break, I heard rumors he was romanceable after Fallen Empire and Eternal Throne. I made short work of those expansions and after 2.5 days, got to the end of Ossus for what I was after. My character *finally* had her relationship with Khem, after all those years. He would have to hunt sacrifices for the bonding ritual, and that it would take some time. And then...that was it. There was no more. The story hangs in limbo, in a cliffhanger. Story-wise, he's been off on his mission...for several *years* now, while my Sith Inquisitor waits for him to return. So I implore you and the other Devs...please please *pleeaaase*...continue the storyline, and hopefully more than just one scene. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants that continuation.
  4. I am not a number cruncher by any means. I play because it's fun, I try to min/max my specs with help from others who know more than I do about the numbers themselves. I practice rotations and do my best to get better. I'm still a middle-of-the-ladder player, but definitely not new. So what I have to say comes from a standpoint of my being able to play some of my favorite classes. Or...used to be able to. Pre-7.0 I played Marksman Sniper. I was damn proud of my performance, hitting an average of 19-21k in most boss fights. I loved the absolute hell out of the spec and intended to carry on into 7.0. I loved the feel of my sniper, the sounds of her rifle going off were just ear candy to me. Then 7.0 hit and, like the Fire Nation attacking, everything changed. My energy consumption shot through the roof (I've since gotten better about managing it), and the DPS dropped like a rock. I tried several times to see if it was just me or the class itself. More and more I heard how Marksman is one of the worst classes now. My heart broke. I was not going to be able to play my favored Sniper anymore. Instead, I gave her the Operative offspec and began Op healing with her. I figured out how to keep her look from her Sniper outfitter while not having to change the look of the rifle (Don't you DARE change that) so I at least had SOMETHING to hail back to her Sniper origins. Healing became fun for me. I enjoy the hell out of it, too. But I still miss playing Marksman severely. While I understand that a lot are saying that the Kolto Burst was overtuned, I can't say I am not disappointed that it's being nerfed. I'll accept it, just not thrilled. There are buffs to the other healers, so I can at least see a bit of a balancing act here. Because I am not able to play Marksman anymore, and I DON'T feel happy, comfortable or satisfied playing PT/Jugg/Mara, I decided to try Lightning. I had just picked it up last week and found the joy in it. The sounds of the Lightning spec, like Marksman, are ear candy to me. I practiced the rotation and got it down for the most part. I was getting practice in Ops, and while my numbers in R4 SM are...meager in comparison to the dummy, I still learned on the fly about what I could use mid-movement (thanks, Disco Ball). But then today I saw the nerfs to Lightning. And I am sitting here stunned and upset. Increasing the cast time of Halted Offensive to 3sec? What's the reasoning behind that? And nerfing the damage? Are you trying to make it so we don't use that ability at all? Is there a different rotation you all have in mind that you're hinting at? Also, wth is with the heal buff when using Thundering Blast? Yes, because I am totally going to interrupt my rotation to cast a heal on myself as soon as TB goes off. I'm more likely to use a medpac and keep going. I'm supposed to rely on my healers for healing. Why not try some kind of defensive instead? Something to reduce damage for x amount of seconds when TB is cast? Something like: "Sound Barrier: Thundering Blast has a xx% chance to proc a sound deafening barrier around you, reducing damage taken by xxxxx for xx seconds." - make it an automatic ability for Lightning only, something specific to their tree that they don't have to choose from. Or make TB create stacks of something that you can use for a defensive - the more stacks, the more damage is reduced, and limit the amount of stacks to like, 3 or 5. You hit an ability button, and there's your defensive for a high-damage mechanic. (I'm sure others will tear apart my idea, that's fine, it's just an idea, I am not an expert) Literally everything I have tried to play that I enjoy has gotten nerfed to the point it's unplayable. I think Operative healing is the only one so far that hasn't gotten a hard smash into the dirt...yet. Look. A lot of us are EXTREMELY UNHAPPY about these changes. I beg of you: Please listen. Please buff the underperforming classes so they can be viable again. If you have to tweak anything, take a look at HM R4 and tune that down just a tad and fix the dead bugs, 90% loading errors and other issues. Don't destroy the classes to leave just THREE classes viable in hard content. If we can't play what we enjoy...what's the point? Seriously? I want to play my Marksman again. I miss it. I want to be able to bring her into hard content again, instead of being regulated to Storymodes.
  5. I came here looking to see if there were any complaints about the lack of Weapon Outfitter - I was not disappointed. Like many others, I spent a LOT of money - IRL CASH - on gear for the looks of my characters. Their weapons are THE MOST IMPORTANT part of their appearance, and in every case, is also ingrained into Roleplay stories I have for them. My Sniper, who is now also an Operative healer, uses the Interstellar Regulator's line of rifles, Dorn series. The slick white and red with the black barrels and holographic HUDs are the most beautiful rifles I have seen in this game. My Agent just is not the same without her weapons. As a healer, I have to resort to an ugly, clunky black blaster rifle that looks like it was picked up randomly on some battlefield. As a Sniper, she's stuck with something that looks like a pipe got shoved inside a bigger pipe and welded to the end of a gun that was dug out from a 100 year old ship crash on Hoth. I know I am not the only one upset by this. We, the community, spent REAL WORLD MONEY, as well as HOURS deciding on their outfit, going through and inspecting the look of various weapons and picking what looks best, figuring out color lasers, tunings, crystals, etc. Now we realize that time was completely wasted, and are stuck with our character's looks being destroyed by a change that affects everyone - modless weapons and gear, and no clear answer as to whether or not we really will get the Weapon Outfitter, and more importantly, WHEN. Bioware...please for the love of anything you consider holy...fix this. The current high end weapons look like hot garbage. If it weren't for the fact that I am maining my Agent this expansion and HAVE to use as high of gear as I can, I'd still be using my 306 Interstellar Regulator's Blaster and Sniper Rifles. I am upset and annoyed every time I have to see her with the current weapons. Want ideas? Here's some: -Fix the Weapon Outfitter -Make it so ONLY WEAPONS can have Mods, Enhancements and Barrels/Hilts -Create new versions of the Cartel Weapons - new and retired - that are up to date and can be upgraded like the current 320 gear Would any of these ideas work for you? ~Inra Maliss/Akasha Maliss/Asha'ral Jen/Ay'ral Masque PS - Another thought for you, while I am here...Dye packs for weapons. I'd LOVE to have my rifle match my Agent's Black and Red outfit. So instead of the White with Red trim, I could make it Black with Red trim. I wish I could drop a picture of my Sniper...but I am not sure how.
  6. I had this issue as well. I kept dying for reasons that were unknown to me, then came here to see if there was an issue. Lo and behold, yes, there is. So I started paying attention to the fight and when I would die. Each time, I would either get knocked back or yanked by him, and died to fall damage immediately about 50% of the time. Now, I am playing a Sniper. I began using Entrench just before he would do any sort of knockback or yank. After the sixth try of this fight, I had a successful run of perfectly timed Entrenches and I managed to survive. It kept me from being yanked around or pushed back. So, I survived the Program Boss, but...that doesn't mean it doesn't need to get fixed. Devs, I hope you are paying attention...Malgus needs to stop throwing us through the world and killing us. ^^;
  7. I'm planning to main my Sniper for this expansion. However, now that the set bonus is gone, the energy regen for the sniper, plus the options to gain back energy, are pretty sad. I can go through my rotation maybe twice before I am out of energy completely. Is there a completely new rotation in order to keep energy regen going, or is there going to be something to help with that in the future, like the old set bonus when you use Entrench? Or is this now the fate of Snipers, being unable to really do much of anything? Please tell me this is something that will be addressed later. Flashpoint bosses are painful to go though, being stuck with using Rifle Shot half the time just to gain some semblance of energy back. Adrenaline Probe and Target Acquired are used as often as possible. Am I missing something? (Note, I am level 80, I am working on the gear for her.)
  8. This gives me hope. Now I just need to know about the Sticky Targeting.
  9. You're quite like me, putting things at the bottom that you want to hold on to. Glad I am not the only one!
  10. Greetings. My complaints may seem minor to some, but they are a fairly large annoyance to myself, and therefore I guarantee they are to others. The first is Inventory Control. The ability to organize my inventory as I see fit is a wonderful thing. However, in the PTS, it does not allow you to do this. It gives you four options for organizing, and none of them are a "none" option. You have "Compact", "Quality", "Value" and "Quantity". I would like to ask, if it's not already in the plans for the live version, to put back in the "Sort by..." option, thus leaving it blank to do as you wish with your inventory. The second is Sticky Targeting. I found today, while fixing up my newly-transferred characters, that I could no longer deselect a target simply by clicking on the ground or elsewhere that wasn't a target. I went into Preferences and found that the option for Sticky Targeting was selected. I deselected, hit apply, hit okay, and tried again. To my dismay, the PTS version still seemed to insist that I wanted Sticky Targeting, even though it was deselected. I hope this is in error, a bug on the PTS that will not make it to the live version. I appreciate your time and effort, and if I find further things like this, I shall report them.
  11. I have been having the same issue as well. It's rather irritating, considering I captured, or rather, thought I did, a really awesome scene during the part where the Jedi Consular makes her first Lightsaber. Lo and Behold, the screencap was NOT in my files. NOWHERE. I tried it on several other characters, both in and out of conversations, and not ONE screencap DURING a conversation was saved. I would like to be able to just take screenshots and move on, but if I want a certain scene, I have to stop, go into my Photoshop, save the screencapture of my ENTIRE two-screen monitor layout, and then go back in. The worst part? I was able to take screen caps BEFORE Patch 1.2. Now, I can't. Only OUTSIDE of conversations. NOT within. Someone please tell me that this is going to be fixed? I LOVE screening my characters and making banners and such, or attaching them to stories I write, or whathaveyou. Even capturing funny looks during conversations is priceless. But now, I can't.
