Ok so what he basically said is they lied to us, if they are supposed to be classes then they should have their own story and companions seeing as they said themselves that each CLASS would have their own story and unique companions.

Ok I will..........on the story it says the chapter and Sith Inquisitor which is the CLASS......they also stated every CLASS will have a unique companion and story, Sith Sorcerers companion and story are no different than a Sith Assassin.

Try reading a bit, they call it a specialization which adds to your class. I'll help you a little bit http://www.swtor.com/info/systems/advanced-classes

And the people who are at level 30? Do you think they want to have to go through the same exact story and do the same exact thing to change their spec (it's not a class, ask Bioware)?

Please learn the definition of class and specialization in MMOs.........for the love of god you people are really not getting it, see the post 2 or 3 posts above you, I am done......I am getting so frustrated at the lack of common sense and knowledge of MMOs it's making me ill and I am logging off.

If we were asking for a new class that would be one thing, asking for a different specialization is what we want.

It's not semantics or word turning, it is using Biowares own words, people that refuse to either say Bioware is wrong and are not giving what was stated or admit they themselves are wrong is just astounding.

Because it's a new game and a lot of people don't want to run through the same story just to have the same class only with a different spec?

Website says specialization not class, a class is something you pick to play at character creation............have you played any MMOs?????

Go to the holocron and look where you see Juggernaut, they gave a specialization a fancy name in game woohoo.

No it doesn't........under class there are 4 options with specializations under those, also on their FAQ there is this (again) In The Old Republic, every character class has its own story, unique companion characters that join and assist the player, and even thrilling space combat and player starships

No it's not.......an advanced class is a specialization otherwise a Juggernaut would have it's own story and able to be selected as a class on character creation.....here allow me to quote their FAQ again for you.....

Again you are confusing class with specialization aka spec. a Juggernaut is not you CLASS it is your SPECIALIZATION a Rogue is your CLASS Combat is your SPECIALIZATION
