  1. It seems like the melee-using enemies do a vastly greater amount of damage than blaster-using enemies do. I can go up against a gold-quality blaster enemy of equal (or slightly lesser) level and actually have a somewhat-lengthy battle that will end in a victory for me, but melee enemies just slaughter my companion, and then me. Especially Force-using golds, but sometimes just the bashing ones... [Warning, spoiler-ish stuff ahead.] Case in point, the enemy that you end up meeting in the Heart of Darkness on Voss. The Avater of...can't remember, but he's a gold level 47. I, a level 50 Imperial Agent (Sniper) just got totally slammed by this guy. I was using SCORPIO as a companion at the time, and she went down so quickly that it boggled the mind. Then the enemy came after me, and there was just no way to handle it. At one point, I was hit for over 3500 points of damage. In one strike. The mission was not marked as a Heroic, and was in fact even showing up as green in my quest log. I had fought my way to the main enemy with no trouble at all, even taking out an additional gold (Of the same level, but using a blaster) on the way in. It seemed like it would be just another boss fight. And then he utterly destroyed me in less time than it takes to type about it. Armor levels just don't seem to DO anything some times...I even noticed this when using Kaliyo, and SILVER melee enemies, ten levels below me, with electrostaffs, were ripping her to shreds when she was outfitted with almost all purple-quality heavy armor, and theoretically getting over 27% kinetic/energy damage reduction against enemies of the SAME level. Is anyone else encountering this problem against melee enemies? Have you been sliced and diced by an enemy that you should be able to handle on your own (with a companion)? Or does The Old Republic just specifically hate me? x_x
