    I'll defend Spliffy's case here. There really isn't a point to transfer anymore. It's very sad that more than half the small community we already had left after removal of 8s. Spliffy is by far the toughest duelist I've ever fought next to Belligerent. Belligerent is a beast LOL. Aside from Spliffy's trolling he's actually a pretty cool dude!

    Defeating a deception sin is more about surviving the initial burst than anything else. Don't let him get you under 30% health. Don't blow your cc break early.

     

    Being a guardian, you won't beat a good sin regardless of how good you are. Your goal is to stall him until you get reinforced. You can kill plenty of bad sins, but one that knows how to use his dcds and how to hold his late spikes til after you burn yours will beat you.

     

    When i see a soresu/shien hybrid guard or jugg, i get my spikes in then kite while his resist buffs wear down. You should space out those buffs a lot after the initial burst, too many guards panic and blow them all quick and i just disappear then spike him again while they are all cooling down.

     

    I don't worry too much about guards on my sin. A good PT/VG is harder to kill, i think.

    Well you're right in the sense that sins do very good at dueling, they just don't fill arena roles as well as other classes which is why they are asking for buffs. All the stuff xinika listed about the class is accurate. I've got all the "good" 55's so I have a pretty good idea of the balance and sins are pretty much bottom of the barrel for everything but best at nodeguarding and dueling, and even then I think other classes are close to pushing sins down the ladder in nodeguarding.

     

    Also honestly I'm not even convinced sins are the best at dueling, I think it's just there are more sins who duel a lot and not enough juggs/snipers/pt's etc who duel. There's video footage of belligerent (some kind of hybrid jugg) beating waka by a good margin in duels and IDK if waka ever figured out a way to beat it. Belligerent won the last harbinger dueling tournament but didn't stick around on bastion long enough to get into this tourney (he's either on pot5 now or quit the game).

     

    In any case, I'd gladly give up my "leet dueling class" status and have it changed into a class that can actually fill a good rated slot (tank or dps) in a heartbeat, cuz frankly who cares about dueling? :(

    He got a lil mad after I recked him with polarity shift up and when he came back him and his sniper buddy chased me so I ran LOSed and healed to full lol. Some people don't understand sorc tactics. Best part was he rage logged off :D

    ^i don't particularly care about trolling anyone here i just llike to put in stupid comments cause i can laugh it off in mumble with friends. tbh though spliffy, the deadweight team that fought blood was kinda garbage. after the old gang of arkov, zoe, & i split up i couldn't really care anymore for that guild. converting back to imperial was one of the best things i've done. gained lots of friends in the procedure.

    Hi chuckles :) we've never spoken before, but apparently you feel entitled enough to utter such harsh words in my direction.

     

    Liz told me you tried apologizing to her for all the um...unintelligent and disrespectful things that come out of that dirty little mouth of yours. She is happy to be playing with people that are not only better than you, but that actually have likeable personalities.

     

    I would challenge you to a duel on my Vanguard seeing as that's my main now, buuuut I heard you were getting creamed so hard on the Bastion that you transfered back, so that isn't a possibility.

     

    Ok Sherlock you think I quit bastion cause I got rolled then your an idiot. First off after two weeks of being on bastion the community died down significantly and it ended up being my guild, illegal test kitchen, and synergy that queued on a night to night basis. Why did everyone else rarely queue probably cause people got tired of synergy 3 scoundral healers? In the meantime our guild was falling apart because Chompin went on a ***** fit which ultimately meant I would have to find a new op healer plus the conflicting timezones for my guilds east coast players was not working for the late night start time for ranked by them. We decided that we wouldn't want to break up and go our seperate ways so we said going to Pot5 was the best bet. It ended up being a good outcome in the end since there were plenty of ranked teams in queue and start/end times were perfect. Even now most of my guild is quite dead since 8 v 8 removal and 4 v 4 implementation. 4 v 4 in swtor is boring as hell as it sits and needs to be reworked be cause of class balancing. You can go ahead and call be bad but you go ahead and beat 2803 heals per second as a sorc. As for you claiming to be friends with Kewa I highly doubt that.

    Ops are going to need some sort of nerf because the combat was based perfectly for.them. Hey I'm an op I have recuperative nanotech that heals the exact number an arena team fields plus I have hots and ridiculous ammo management. The other thing is the arena is an all out melee war. The maps were designed too poorly for anything ranged to work. Sorcs are the only ranged class I can see working but it needs to be played right. Tunneling a lightning sorc is easy since they immediately shutdown. Madness is good in 4s for sole survival purposes but the op healer can literally heal through all the dot damage. Hope the devs realized how crappy and one side the jugg, double marauder, and operative healer will be. It's really a GG comp. Not saying its unbeatable just too much utility to fight against.
