    Why not delay CL until after using LF and CD? You don't have to use CL on cooldown, just get the reset proc for it on cooldown. Using the instant proc for it doesn't make the next proc able to happen any faster. Get LF and CD on cooldown a gcd faster.

     

    Guess I sort of got used to just letting the CL go. I'm not much of a lightning player it was just meant for demonstration. I excel in madness and corruption however

    you mean even as madness you think would be more beneficial without any alacrity, mean even the dots tick faster is not as good as bigger stronger damage ? u mean 0% alacrity or 3.3 % is enough

     

    Go all power crit including your implants and earpiece and have two alacrity pieces which will give u 3.24% alacrity. It's all up to you. There's another build where you can run 4 alacrity pieces and the rest crit. It's preference really.

    Nice guides and not too long.

     

    Perhaps you should mention that Thundering Blast auto-crits when Affliction is up. At least it did prior to 4.0 and I don't know if they have changed it.

    In all seriousness, this is a subpar tutorial. (For the Corruption spec) Don't take the bonus absorption to Static Barrier. It's not worth the 800+ damage it'll absorb. Instead, take Dark Resilience which increases your self heal by 30%. Much more useful.

     

    And don't take the 3k heal with Overload. If you actually play the spec, you get focused and you're better off taking the 50% increased speed with Dark Heal.

     

    The skill points I use are meant for just hps farming. It's just perspective, I like seeing high numbers so I take utility points that give me an aoe heal that can crit for 4K on a group when I knock back and also go with increase on barrier for more hps output. I overall kite extremely well so at this point in the game it's yolo swaggins

    Hmmm yeah except you get insta rekt the moment your barrier is on cd, an assa jumps on you > gg release, a mara jumps on you > gg release ... This class just became **** compared to what it was at release (yeah I haven't played for 3 years)

     

    watch some of my 1v1 highlights on stream. sorc is actually pretty good.

    itchy thanks for your tuorial and it help me alot on madness , but before i read this post i already bought some alacrity and crit and power pieces and my augment are mix between overkill and crit

     

    so now i am stiing at 40,5 crit, 69,5 surge , alacrity 4% ,rest power

    is this you think ok or should i remove alacrity augment and change to overkill? you think 3,3 % alacrity is enough because we need rto use alot of force lighting and also leeching force we need to stand still ( according to your skill tree)

     

    any advice?

     

    Hey there, glad that the fguides helped you. I would definitely recommend going full power augs or full mastery augs. You will definitely see a difference in overall hps or dps.
