  1. I didn't realize we were pushing for an answer after getting one at the summit... I'm guessing others felt the same? I may be wrong though...
  2. Yes, I'm pretty sure it is(there was a video posted recently of someone doing it in a testing of the patch, not entirely sure where it is though).
  3. There has been a proposal to move all [flirt] prompts to the left hand side of the wheel(which is never used as far as I've seen) in order to keep all the dialogue options the same... I don't know if Bioware is thinking of implementing this though.
  4. The only estimate we have is from the guild summit and is "before the end of the year," along with other story content...
  5. Well, they are in the game, and bioware doesn't seem too keen on removing them right now(in fact iirc they are adding more). [oh and the stuff in playboy isn't any more real than this stuff fyi lol, not to mention people don't just want this stuff to be able to look at scantily clad women] And the rest of your post is completely off topic and irrelevant.
  6. well, drag queen/cross dressing stuff aside, what about anything slightly more revealing/with a more sexual tone for male chars. I'm not that far in the game so something might already be out there I don't know of, but as far as I know there isn't anything really...
  7. I agree, really just anything that's more revealing than full on armor/robes lol
  8. well, for what it's worth I support this . As for "pulling it off" that's rather subjective... As for immersion, how do straight female/gay male players feel about the female slave suit in there now? If it is not significantly immersion breaking for those clothes why the other way around? I do somewhat recall something to this effect being brought up at the summit, I don't entirely recall what they said about it, but I think it may have been that it was in the works... Again not sure though.
  9. well, you could have a bisexual character that expresses interest in both sexes... But in that case I think the user was just using LGBT to refer to the general community, it's not uncommon.
  10. SGR can not proceed without a toggle? That's news to me... Mind citing a source or two?
  11. Any updates on same gendered content for those interested in it? Any information on implementation, etc.?
  12. --edit: mods seemed to have removed the part of your post I was responding to lol--
  13. well, realistically, it is a Bioware game lol. If you look through some peoples signatures you'll see Bioware's stance on that issue...
  14. People are allowed to post such things if they want, as long as they fall within the code of conduct and the topic. And people do come here to say that they think our issue is not game breaking, so I'm not really sure what you're referring to...
  15. I don't mean to open up a whole new argument that would span pages, but I think this should be addressed as well... What happens when your heterosexual character parties with a homosexual character? If the whole basis for the pro-toggling argument is that seeing same-sex content offends them in some way, what happens in this situation? What if the homosexual character flirts with an NPC of the same gender? Does bioware just put up a big censored sign and cut out all the voice acting? Such a toggle would be hugely game breaking. If they let you see the other persons dialog options and the responses, then what is the basis for the toggle in the first place, if not that such content offends?(I do hope by now we are past the whole choice thing).
  16. That's where the idea for a toggle for /all/ flirt prompts comes in, and only /all/. This can't really be argued /against/ per se, on the grounds that it is discriminating, etc. The fact it only comes up when same gender content is discussed is a bit insulting to some, but as I see it it's really the only compromise that has a chance of working.
  17. If they aren't working on it they could just say so(they could even mention if it would be patch content, dlc content, or expansion content, though it's not necessary), at the very least letting us know that those of us that want the content aren't being ignored and/or forgotten about. I personally wont flag your post, but in the future please do read through the previous incarnations(or at least parts of the last one) of the thread, this same idea has been brought up before a few times now.
  18. Well I'm not really looking for another MMO right now... This is the only one I've considered playing and that's mostly due to storyline(other MMO's just don't do it for me in that regard). As I said this is not my only reason for leaving, and no, it's not game breaking, but it is a problem when a company simply ignores it's fans(and I'm not just talking about SGRA in this case). As for giving it time, for a subscription-based MMO time is money, and I'd rather not keep feeding them money without any of my problems being fixed, thus hindering my enjoyment of the game. If at some point they fix ~2 of my biggest 3 problems then I will gladly come back with my money, until then they're out one subscriber.
  19. Some had mentioned that you might be able to get some sort of refund if you take it up with support, but other than that I don't think it's all that likely ...
  20. Maybe I should note that this is by far not my only reason for unsubscribing, there are a few others that are outside the scope of this topic, but the lack of communication over this has far from helped.
  21. well it's pretty much the same answer for me
  22. I haven't gotten to the endgame stuff, but are there not options in order to do so? Say, if you use gifts to get up affection but decide to not marry them...
  23. I agree... unfortunately I will be in classes/labs throughout the day while they are streaming, so I likely wont be of much help . Good luck to anyone that can though . It's streaming on the 5th: link
