bioware made one crucial mistake with this game (and i play it and will for a long time) they teamed up with EA, EA is a sports game company that has no experience with making or needing a server that holds thousands of people, your FPS issue is directly related to EA's ****** servers, even there sport game servers blow.....i love alot of aspects of this game, but the lag server side is terrible, i and alot of people i know have very good exspensive cpus and it dosent matter **** when its server side.....

your prolly going to see a 2:1 ratio on most servers in favor of empire, based on that im rolling republic for instant pvp queues and more killing options for world pvp
